I'm sorry but I wouldn't give this place a one. I wrote the Better Business Bureau In reference to…read morethe owner Tia and she will not even respond to them. My next step is taking her to court. I want a total refund for my hair. I would not suggest going there as I went for consultations and stated I wanted human hair and I should of known when she tried to dye pieces to blonde as I requested they were a solid red. As she gave me synthetic hair versus human hair. She put so much weight to my thin pieces that I couldn't sleep for 4 nights. I went to another stylist and all she could say is WOW what a horrible job. As she placed the extensions in my hair, she would cut chunks out in different places so I have 2 inches here and 6 inches there. The results all right now my hair is too short to even have extensions. I have to wait several months for my hair to grow out due to her just chopping away at it so please think before you go to see her. I asked for a refund she told me her policy is no refunds for me to come back and she try to fix it. Well, how do you put your hair back on your head that's been cut off and I wouldn't dare let her touch my head after what I went through. She will not respond to anything you ask or say after her statement as she doesn't care about her customers as the money is the most important thing to her as it first I just tried to get the $900 for just placing the extensions in my head then when I found out it was synthetic hair at one of the other $500 also. Well, needless to say, I haven't seen a dime of it nor has she sent me back a reply to any emails I have sent like I said all I received was I did not give refunds so if that doesn't tell you what she's like then I don't know what else to say, but I definitely would not go back to Tia and I suggest you don't either. Pay the extra and get that excellent hair stylist as it has been a nightmare from day one. When she is subpoenaed to court, she will have to answer my questions then and refund the amount she charged as it was all under false pretenses, which is the total shame. Please if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them for you before you book that appointment. And I hope any clients she has that she's done this to in the past will also come forward as she told me about a customer that every time she washed her hair she would cry, and I thought to myself what in the world, but I totally understand now trust me I had to wear my hair in a ball on the top of my head to keep the pressure off of my own hair so I could have some relief until I had the extensions taken out which cost me another $250. I will ask for the $250 in court to as this was the first time I've ever had a hair extensions Oh, she's ruined my chances of having any hair extensions anytime soon. I normally do not do reviews, but I could only think about the people that may consider going to her and hopefully they'll have a chance to read this first as I would never want this to happen to anyone else. Thank you and God bless you !

She is super talented, knowledgeable, and a great personality but above all excellent customer service, Tia did a great job on my hair I mean beyond what I expected and the prices are awesome. No offense to these new stylist but they lack any kind of personable customer service and decency that use to happen amongst stylist and their clients, I really got luck this time! Thanks Tia!

Ta'Nesha has worked with me to make my hair healthier than it has been in a while. I received the Keratin treatment a week before Easter On Easter Sunday it was pretty warm out and of course I was running around with the kids so I automatically assumed my hair was done for.... I went to the bathroom to put it up after the egg hunt and when I looked into the mirror I was in shock!!!!!! My hair was not frizzy, it was not puffy as a matter of fact it was still silky and straight. I was really amazed. If you're natural you know that heat and humidity usually means wear your hair up but not with the Keratin treatment. When wash day came back around my curls were slightly looser than before and I love it. Also the oil that she makes is off of the radar. I have been having issues with my edges thinning from pulling my braids up and down but within 3 weeks of using the oil as directed I have seen a difference. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend. Y'all book y'all appointments today, you won't regret it!

I was unsure as to what I wanted and my stylist made great recommendations. I was attending my best friend's funeral the following day, so she told me not to do anything drastic while I was feeling so emotional. She cut off the ragged ends and did a fabulous job on my bangs. I went in thinking I would be cutting off all of my hair but I am so grateful she recognized that would not have been the best idea for me. So I came here because another place tried to over charge me for a simple wash and blow out. She…read moresat me down under the sink to get ready to wash me and told me it'll be $50 because it was thick ( I haven't gotten a perm in 2 months so it was kinda thick) but I was like ok that's fine because there no other places to really go in Virginia so I had no choice really. She washed it and gave me a "gift" of a free deep conditioner because she knew my girlfriend and I was very grateful. She rolled my hair and I sat under the dryer for awhile and she started to blow out my hair and then flat ironed...it came out good. I got to the register to pay and she proceeds to tell me that since my hair was so "thick" and so much work that it was going to now be $70. Ummmmmmm U gave me a price of $50 how would it be $50? So she starts telling me how she had to shampoo me five times and she had to use extra water and electricity omg me and my girlfriend were literally in shook...so my gf says "so I'm basically paying your bills?" And she's says "No you're not but we pay $500 a month". First wtf does that have to do with what u just did to my hair? And second to be honest it's not my fault u use cheaper shampoo that u felt as though u needed to wash my hair more then two or three times. Anyway we just payed her the $70 for her "bills" because I guess she didn't come up with her rent for the shop yet so conned us and over charged me for a blow out. I live in New York and there's reasons I only have 2 hair stylist and be over charged unnecessarily is one of them. I've been to professional stylist with hair that has gone without a perm for like 6 months and they did my hair perfectly fine without having to con me into another amount then the first one I was given. That was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had in my life. I've never paid more then 35 at a Dominican salon for a wash and blow wtf I swear I'll never step foot in there again. I'll just wait until I'm in New York with professionals that get a good amount of clients to not have to con people for basic hairstyles. Wtf I was forced to give a star but NO STARS were deserved!!!!
