The schedule is super convenient -- the first class starts at 6 AM and the last one at 7 PM, so whether you prefer mornings or evenings, there's always a time that works. A smaller more intimate setting allows you to train and feel as a more intricate part of the Xfit family here with more personal attention. I've met some great friends here that I have known for over 8 years. The trainers are notably concerned that you are using the proper technique in your lifts, and provide constructive criticism in their teaching methodology. They encourage you to work hard and push your limits within reason.

This past month they opened up their gym portion for anyone and everyone so I took advantage. So happy I did. Taking both Fit and Revolution classes; I found myself with a bunch of like-minded, health conscious individuals. The classes don't drag or feel boring, but are surprisingly fun, encouraging and motivational to work out. The gym itself has a little of everything. From weights to TRX to rowing machines. Even yoga! During this year's LoveFest you could feel the excitement and bonding from every participant. Although I didn't win any raffle, I felt like I won the opportunity to find the best gym in Simi Valley. Thank you Adam and all other trainers for letting me join your classes. I signed up for the…read moremembership and have been to a few classes now, so far all the instructors are very sweet and welcoming, really push you to get the best workout in while pacing you and motivating you every step of the way. 45 min work out really goes along way here. So far my fav instructor is Ninel, she's fun with great energy. But mind you all the instructors I've had are a real pleasure in class. The customer service is also exceptional I sent an email about a class re-schedule and to call for a few questions I had and they answered and called within 10 mins of my email. Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't align with those classes, which ultimately led me to leave. The class that worked best with my schedule was led by a coach who seemed more focused on socializing than coaching. It was honestly frustrating to experience. Many classes started late because of this, and there was a lot of gossip during workouts. On top of that, the coaching itself often felt unorganized, and at times it seemed like they didn't fully know what they were doing. When I first signed up, I was sold on the idea that this gym was a one-stop place for fitness and health, including nutritional guidance and recipes. However, when I asked about nutrition support, I was brushed off and never received the help that was advertised. I do think this gym has potential, but it really needs more consistent, professional, and knowledgeable coaches to make it a better experience overall.

FPS provided a more personal feel. Rob is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. He can help if you are just starting out or have been training on your own. FPS can help with strength, balance, eating habits, and much more. Each program is designed for the individual and not the masses. When I started at FPS I could barley do a push up. Now I can not only do multiple sets of push ups but am much stronger in all of the major lifts thanks to the training at FPS. My lean muscle has increased and my overall fat has gone way down. If you really want to get better and are tired of making excuses, like I was, then this is the place to go. Get by or get better!
