I've been to see Dr. Dewald since the beginning of this year (2011) and my experience has been great. His office is very well run with a friendly staff and they give excellent massages. I don't feel like he's just trying to set me up on a rip-off plan where I need to go in every day. I've been to a couple other chiropractors in the area and I felt like I was on an assembly line being rushed thru but this place is relaxed and they take their time with their patients. I went there today for the first time in hopes of a better experience than the last chiropractor I tried (Frye chiropractic). I have to say my experience was awesome!!! The moment I walked in the door I felt relaxed due to the soothing ambiance. Doctor DeWald was very thorough and made me feel comfortable to the point where I felt like I have known him for years. I got a massage in addition to my treatment which was fabulous. The other thing which I thought was really cool was the doctor admitted to me that I would probably only need 3-4 more treatments to treat my ailment. In contrast to the last chiropractic clinic I visited I didn't feel any pressure to go 3 times per week for the next 6 weeks. This place is fabulous! read more

Seriously the best. Dr. Dewald and his staff have literally saved my back. I have had issues with my back from years of abuse and I thought for a while that medication was the only solution. My back would go out on me and I wouldn't be able to walk for a couple days, (crawling around the house is definitely a humbling experience). I got recommendations from a few co-workers to come try Dr. Dewald. I've been coming here almost 3 years now and my back has been doing great. I used to have to come once or twice a week just to prevent the onset of pain. I've gotten to the point now where if I do a little damage at work, I only need one or two visits to get me back to where I was. My sister referred me to the office after my car accident a month ago she kept telling me how amazing her chiropractor was and I should try them out. And I'm glad to say I am very pleased with the services I received. As a new patient, I filled out my forms, turned them in and was called back very quickly. This place is like a spa. All the 'technicians' (not sure what to call them - they do anything from setting the electric stim to doing the massage) are very friendly and thorough. Dr. Randy did my intake - she was great and Dr. Dewald is funny, honest, and makes you feel comfortable. A pretty nice escape from your traditional medical office. I know a lot of people are skeptical about chiropractors and unfortunately with some good reason, but Dr. Dewald is one of the best! His office is so serene and relaxing, the staff are super friendly and Dr. D- well, he's awesome. My friends and family have been going there for years and I had been there off and on a few times over the years to take care of some specific issues. Just started going back somewhat regularly and the value of the treatments, massages, and adjustments cannot be overstated. The staff here is wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. As for chiropractic care, I've had better. I have been going to various chiropractors for over 11 years. Many times he can't seem to get my upper back to pop, even though I need it. Can't say that I've had that problem before. But at this office they do offer massage therapy. And OMG, it's the best massage you'll ever get!!! They focus on different areas than traditional massage parlors I've been to. They actual know the key problem areas and help relieve the pressure and stress. I would 100% recommend getting massages here! read more

I just wish I had met dr Dewald years ago. I hurt my back playing sports and I had seen several MDs and chiropractors before and had poor to mediocre results. Someone at work noticed the way I was turning my head and bending and gave me dr Dewald's number.i called him 2 days later and they worked me in quickly and after a few appointments I started to finally feel some hope and now I can say he has helped me more than ANY body else in the past. I came here after going to another chiropractor here in town. I had collapsed in the parking lot while out with my family during my daughter's soccer tournament. The other chiropractic office down the street was the 1st one able to see me. I was in alot of pain. They where good but everything just seemed rushed and the treatment plan seemed long and just too much. I felt more like a payday for them because my insurance covers 20 visits per year. Then i called around and from the 1st phone call the Staff a Dewald chiropractic have been amazing. The environment they set up and a genuine feeling of care and understanding. They were honest and upfront about what needed to be done. The treatment plan has been a lot more effective compared to the other place. After the 1st visit I stopped taking Advil. I felt an immediate difference in my body. Then the 2nd and 3rd visit with different staff in front and in back the same level of care and compassion was the same. Friend and family who where concerned about me are wondering what did you do or where did you go. I'm excited to say Delwald Chiropractic. If you're going to Google, Bing or web search a Chiropractor or if you have back pain lower back pain or if you collapse due to lower back pain like I did. It became very obvious to me that the degree of my attention/therapy was defined by my insurance benefits. I didn't mind paying above what was covered...if it worked, but it didn't and the charges/billing continued as if all was good. At one point he defined an extended plan of therapy,as if I was going to be an unlimited ATM machine for him. This "doctor" is a pretentious, patronizing scum bag. If you know anything about medical and/ or business it will creep you out! Nice environment and staff...too bad about the "doctor". In all fairness, DeWald didn't work on my back as seemingly many "patients" need, I am only assuming he does well with routine procedures. I just picture his face changing when he brought my insurance coverage up on the computer screen and realizing I most of (and most us) are covered above 26 visits insurance coverage annually. I give his office staff 5 stars who all seemingly make up for this very deliberate, unapologetic level of unprofessionalism... read more

My wife had sprained her back, I was able to get appointment easily, staff was very courteious, inside the office they had very soothing music with video of waves on beach. Once inside it took us 15min to complete application since we were visiting here for first time, there is whole lot of options to choose, its there on website, we personally wanted to have back adjustment iwth 30 min massage but Dr dewald does plan of care, i wish he discusses what options are available and to let patient choose from his recommendations, anyhow once inside the waiting room, he came and took general history on what happened related to back pain, then he did physical exam and started with TENS therapy for 15-20 mins, followed by massage for 20 min which was most effective, next dr dewald came and gave vibration therapy. He had explained in advance that he plans to relax the back muscles due to tension before going for adjustment, he also answered all my questions related to side effects of adjustment if done frequently and also benifits of inversion therapy. Adjustment part was really amazing since I had heard a lot about immediate benifits from this treatment. Anyways it took 10-15 min for adjustment which includes bending knee and hip of one leg with one jerking motion which does slightly decompress the disc. She was walking comparatively with leeser pain after the treatment. We paid in cash and was expecting less than 100 but got shocker with 125 bill, anyhow since it was benificial we didnt mind, overall I would definately recommend his office services if you are local. read more
