Since the guy was alone, he just left. It was a terrible look. Between getting blatantly ignored while standing right in front of the guy and watching how he treated the next customer, the bias here was obvious. If you aren't the right demographic, don't expect decent service.

New owners are cowardly pieces of shit. Not only did the kick me out as an on site maintenance person slash bartender, I was also banned from the bar for life for no reason at all. Dear Hubby ended up wandering in and finding me and we both sat for a spell I was able to check my email and catch up on anything immediate, which thankfully was minimal. It was a great place to take a break from wandering Broad Street, while still absorbing the charm of Nevada City. I'd certainly plan to stop in here again when visiting this special town.

We would usually sit outside and always run into friends ( think of CHEERS ). It was established in 1955 and finally closed around 2008 or 2009. It then became a winery for awhile.
