I recently graduated from West Coast University Ontario's nursing program, and I'm so grateful for…read morethe support I received throughout my journey. One thing that really stood out to me was the career support after graduation. The job fair hosted by the school gave me the opportunity to connect directly with hospitals and recruiters, and it ultimately helped me secure my first RN job! A huge thank you to Brittany Crow in Career Services for all of her guidance and support. She was incredibly helpful throughout the process and truly cared about helping students succeed after graduation. Her advice and encouragement made such a difference for me. Nursing school is definitely challenging, but I'm thankful for the opportunities, connections, and experiences I gained at WCU Ontario. Excited to officially start my career as an RN!

I want to start by saying that the instructors in this program have been excellent. The theory and…read moreclinical faculty I've worked with are knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly invested in student learning. My frustration has been with the administrative side of the program. In my experience, communication with administration and advising has been slow and often unclear. Emails can take days to receive a response, and when responses do come they do not always directly answer the question that was asked. Calling the phone numbers listed in official emails has also been difficult, as I have often been unable to reach someone who can provide help. I have had several experiences like this during the program. One example that stood out was when I received urgent reminder emails stating that I needed to submit a Live Scan form by the end of the day or I would not be able to continue to the next term. At that time, I had not even been informed of my upcoming schedule, and I was no longer enrolled in the course that required the Live Scan. This created confusion and unnecessary stress. When I tried to resolve the issue, I called the numbers listed in the email but could not reach anyone. I then used the school's website live chat, which connected me to the front desk, who then transferred me to the same program assistant I had originally been trying to reach. After explaining the situation, I was given another phone number to call, which also did not work. What makes situations like this frustrating is the difference in expectations. Students are expected to meet strict deadlines with serious consequences if something is missed, yet getting clear answers or support from administration often required multiple attempts and several days. In a program where missing a requirement or class can result in being dropped and taking on additional debt, timely and clear communication is critical. Again, the instructors I've had have been great. My experience with the administrative side of the program, however, has been difficult and at times felt unsupported.

I have had nothing but excellent experiences here at Platt College. First of, MRS. MILLER -OMG- She is the BEST! I mean she literally took the time, helped me and believed in me. Any question I had, she quickly responded. My Teachers MRS. G (Jessica Gonzalez) and MRS. GHADA ALFRED - the BEST!!!!! Helped me in every step of the way! Mrs G. even helps me when I have Billing questions for work. Mrs Ghada believed me in when it came to passing my NCCT test. Mrs G. was with me when I passed my NCCT test and experienced that wonderful moment with me. I am not getting paid or extra credit to write this review. I am truly grateful for Platt College and all the great people that work there including the front desk girls, Financial aid, Oh and Jonathan Serafin who is soooo awesome and helpful! Go talk to him for your job needs. Again, not getting paid, no extra credit - nothing like that! Just want to acknowledge who has helped me get to where I am today. Today - I am privately contracted with a Podiatrist Doctor as a Billing Consultant. I plan to start my own Billing company this year along with graduating with my BA with Honor Roll in March of 2023. I am excited and I highly recommend Platt and go meet the above people I mentioned. Thank you Platt College!

I loved it so much that now I'm going to take their HR class in March! I know I see so many negative comments, but I never had a problem with the college. As for people getting back to me, it did take s min so I kept bugging them but that was only because I needed the information for my new classes. Other than that, the online classes are great!!!

Unprofessional staff. I would initially call multiple times to inquire over their DH program and…read morewould be sent to Voicemail. The DH admissions person finally returned my calls but I would miss them because I would be working. For this reason, I went on their website to schedule a call/zoom meeting for a time that worked best for me. I waited all day for someone to reach out since I had already booked a specific time slot, nobody ever did. A month later, I decided to call back AGAIN just to be met with passive aggressiveness from one of the ladies; basically insinuating that because they attempted to reach out to me in the past, they no longer wanted to give me their time of day. I say this because I left my info with the receptionist in attempts to finally meet and I have yet to hear back from them. So overall, it's okay for them to not pick up their phones and not check zoom appointments, but the moment we do it, we're not worth their time anymore. I fear this might be the only school that lets their phones go to voicemail regularly.

If you are a veteran considering National University, please learn from my experience: this school…read moreseems far more interested in collecting military benefits than actually providing a quality education. From the start, I felt like just another paycheck to them rather than a student. The classes are rushed, the support is minimal, and it's clear that the focus is on enrollment numbers and tuition payments rather than genuine learning. What ultimately pushed me away, however, was my experience with my assigned counselor, Sabria. She has been condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Anytime I asked questions, her responses were short, rude, and delivered with an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering her for simply trying to understand my own education plan. Her incompetence and lack of professionalism are the driving factors in my decision to leave this program. As a veteran, I worked hard to earn my benefits. I expected a university that respected that sacrifice and invested in my success--not one that exploits it. If you're a veteran thinking about enrolling here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. I ABSOLUTELY HATE NU. I have nothing good to say…read moreabout this place besides that it's online. This college is a waste of money and time. You learn NOTHING, professors are just as useless, credential advisors and financial advisors are beyond incompetent. Everything and everyone at this campus is awful. Need help with a class? Well guess what, you might get help 5 days after you needed it. Filed and completed your FAFSA, well guess what, NU will mess it up. Professors are fossils and need to retire because being an educator today is nothing like it was in their time and they have nothing insightful or progressive to teach. It's a literal, "do it my way or no way" type of school. You accidentally miss a PLC? Guess what, now they want to put you on a contract or charge you more rather than working with you. This school is AWFUL. I hate it, I regret ever signing up for this piece of crap online classes. All they care for is your money and their classes are up charged; each class is $2k a month and it is 100% not worth it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Avoid this college at all costs if you're someone who actually values learning and being treated like a professional who is trying to grow, all they see you as is $$$. NU needs to do better and start off by getting credential advisors who actually do their damn job and get professors who are young and have worked within a classroom in the past ten years and actually understand what it means to be a teacher in 2023. Do better NU.
