Ordered food earlier that week for a 24 person rehearsal Friday night. Food never showed. We called they sounded confused and said it was on the way. Called back 20 minutes later they said we had not paid which we gave cc info, 3 days prior. 30 mins later still no DeVitos called back asked to cancel. Our guests had waited over an hour and we felt like that was long enough. Just as the food showed up the owner got on the phone and we heard him say he was not eating the cost. I said I no longer want the food, he said to take the food and shove it up my A**. The next business day we had $197 taken out of our account which he originally quoted us $163. We will never give that guy another penny! Rude and unprofessional. Not only did we witness this but also all of our guests! read more

Get a bad delivery, and complain about it, and somehow it's your fault. You know what, it was my fault. If I wanted good service I would have went elsewhere. read more

We ordered delivery for our school. The service was horrendous. They did not tell us there was not a delivery person on. So after over an hour. We called them back and proceded to get yelled at that we cant cancel our order. And proceded to lie to us about how our food was just prepared. Yep that burger was not fresh and the fries were soggy. Their people skills are just piss poor read more

Wonderful staff super friendly! Awesome Sweet potato fries, I am mad at myself for waiting so long to post his review the service there was amazing very very delicious read more

They have the best steak tip Caesar salad. It has big pieces of steak, and comes with their homemade house dressing, which is so good, I always ask for two. Their veggie calzone is also one of the best "all veggie" things I've ever eaten. It's marinated veggies with mozzarella cheese baked inside pizza dough, and it comes with their house dressing as well. It's big and it's yummy! But beware that if you dine in the restaurant, you will come out smelling like the food because their ventilation system is not the best. But overall, decent, and reasonably priced food. read more

After reading many good reviews about DeVito's, we decided to give it a try. I placed a delivery order and the service over the phone was friendly, off to a good start. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken & broccoli alfredo. All arrived within the stated time frame and was very good. My son loved all the cheese on the spaghetti and meatballs. I look forward to trying new things at DeVito's. read more

Not terrible for a quick stop for lunch. I knew that the route out of town on RT 44 had only various types of chain restaurants, so I was looking for local color. Had two slices of the cheese pizza. The crust suffered the indignity of being reheated. If this is the best Taunton has to offer it may be time to move! The crust reminded me of the Lowell, circa 1974. I used to call it Greek style. Really dry and crunchy, but maybe it was the reheating. Overall the taste was ok, but I won't be heading back here for the pizza. Maybe the subs are worth trying. read more

My 7 year old son wanted to give this place "six and a half stars". It's one of the better places for pizza in the Taunton area. I tried the Greek salad and that was pretty good too. Will definitely go back. read more

Pizza was oily but good. A little less oil would've been better. Salad was very good though.

Our daughter lives in Taunton and told us about a great Italian restaurant on the green; Devitos. We stopped in for dinner last night. The portions were large and food was very good. The folks that own and run Devitos were very nice and friendly. We had eggplant parm and salads. The sauce was very tasty. They serviced garlic bread with the meal which was also good. A lot of people came in to pick up pizza so that would also be a good choice. read more

Love a reliable local business that's quick and affordable. The Italian sub is great!

This is by far one of the best pizza joints in the city... nice crispy ,airy crust and always an abundance of fresh ingredients ,I suggest this lace to Everyone, my personal favorites is there Buffalo Chicken Pizza And there Salads (they offer flavored Grilled Chicken or Steak tips ...there Zesty Garlic sauce is my fav ) and there house Greek dressing is amazing and on top of there great service in Restaurant, they also deliver any where in the city including the surrounding cities completely free , no minimum $$ order ,the only negative I can think of is that it's in the center of Taunton and the parking is horrendous read more

What a find! I always make sure I eat here anytime I am up in the Taunton area. Staff is super friendly. Everything made fresh to order, nothing pre-cooked in advance. Pizza Sauce, Dough, Marinated Chicken or Beef, all done from scratch right there. They even hand cut their French Fries and Salads, nothing pre-cut or packaged. The Chicken Salad they cook and make it in house and is 100% all white meat from Chicken Tenders. Chicken Fingers are fresh Chicken Tenders hand battered and cooked to order. My favorite is their Gyro Pizza. Marinated Steak Tips or their Cheesburgers are also GREAT! Free Delivery , No Minimum. I don't understand how the other Pizza places in town survive. This place blows them all away hands down. read more

Damn good food, huge menu, decent prices. Friendly staff and downtown Taunton location make it a nice place to go. Definitely the best Pizzeria in Taunton. read more

Very good food, most of the appetizers are frozen items though, which you're then paying a premium for because they cooked it instead of you. The pizza is very good. We've only taken out, not dined in. The parking sucks, only street parking. It's not conveniently located at all. Don't bother getting food delivered as we waited an hour and a half and we called at 4:30. You're better off picking it up, as it's only about 20 minutes. Overall the food is good and service is decent. read more

We've tried most every pizza joint in Taunton and will agree this is probably the best around the town. Unfortunately, it still leaves a little to be desired. I'm not sure if it's a New England thing (I grew up and lived any many other areas first) but every pizza I've had around here the crust is never crispy. Even with Devito's, I have to turn my oven on when I go to pick it up, bring it home, and cook it on a pizza pan to crisp the bottom of the pizza up. Again, that may just be me, but Devito's was the same as everyone else in that regard. read more

Super fast service and have great pizza! I love supporting local small businesses.

April 20, 2019 me and husband went there and ordered a large linguiça onion and green pepper pizza it was absolutely delicious would recommend DeVito's pizza to everyone read more

People rave about their Pizzas and I agree, but sometimes you need a good juicy burger... Devitos have the best burgers and fries in the area. Everything they cook is fresh (nothing is factory made like the franchises)...taking a trip downtown for a burger brings me back to the days of Hickeys Diner... read more

Great food, fast delivery. They always know exactly how long they will be. Good is never cold and always delicious! Try the Alfredo!

I order all my pizza from here. The delivery is always kind of random but it gets here and that is always great. I dont care about service as much if the food is worth it. read more

The pizza is excellent and the service staff is always friendly. The only negative would have to be their seafood. Their "haddock plate" just doesn't appear to be haddock. I've had it twice because I thought they had overcooked it the first time, I was willing to give it another shot. I was just as disappointed the second time. read more

Food is great, prices are average for a pizza shop. Pizza is DELICIOUS. Salads are super fresh and the house dressing is yummy. Sometimes the woman that answers the phone is a bit curt, but she gets the job done and the order correct. Delivery is always quick. I highly recommend DeVitos. read more

The pizza is ok the sauce they use is a little sweet for my taste but its still definitely on the top of the list for food in taunton. The fries and onion rings are the really good and the employees are pretty friendly but I have had difficulty paying with a cc for delivery. read more

The pizza here was decent for Taunton. It's a huge step up from Piezonis or whatever it's called. What most impressed my wife and I was the Greek dressing on their salads. I can't remember if we ordered Greek salads or if we just got salads with Greek dressing. Neither one of us likes feta or olives, so we got a simple salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and chicken with this delicious dressing. We've ordered from them several times now. Sometimes when we're driving through the Green one of us will say "I'm really craving DeVito's salad". read more

We've ordered from here several times. Taste of food is very good. One time their pizza looked like it was stored sideways and the last 2 times we were told a 45 min delivery time and it took 1 HOUR and 45 MIN!!!! Completely un acceptable! Even though the quality is good, we will never order from them again! read more

Hands down the best steak sub around. You won't find a better tasting sub, and better value. The pizza is always piping hot and yummy. Another favorite is the grilled chicken salads. Well worth the money and the addition of the house dressing makes it delicious. Overall I think anything you try here will make you happy. It has for us. read more

I'm not from the area, but I was there today for work. I ordered a steak tip salad for lunch and it was mediocre. I didn't expect some gourmet salad or anything, but the steak tips were fatty and difficult to chew. There were a ton of croutons in it too which kinda defeats the purpose of getting a healthier option. I don't think it was worth the money, but it's a pizzeria not a steakhouse so maybe the pizza is good. read more

Went for the first time other night. Owner was very friendly and made me feel welcome like I was a guest in his home. Got chicken tenders, spaghetti & meatballs and cheese pizza. Everything was delish! Only pizza place I will be going from now on! Watched his interactions with guests while I waited for my order and he treats everyone with the same welcoming attitude. Can't wait to try all the homemade dishes on the menu. Only sorry I didn't try sooner. Next time I'll be taking advantage of FREE delivery. :-). read more

LOVE this place! Great homemade food, always a good call! I love the chicken parm calzone, and my hubby loves the lamb - they have half moon cookies brought in from NY (awesome) and have great burgers and dogs too :) read more

I used to order from here about once or twice a week but on the last couple of orders I have been very disappointed. Pricing seemed high, missing stuff, cold, etc. They don't give lemon wedges with fish and chips and when I requested one it was forgotten which actually as small as that is, put a damper on my boyfriends dinner. The delivery took a while (more then an hour) so I called to check in, and the woman who answered was extremely rude to me and made her issue of "I just got here!" my issue. The driver said that was the owner's (wife). I'm good with this place. The croutons are outstanding - I'll give them that but the delivery and customer service leave much to be desired. The guys that work there seem happy to be there and have always been helpful and not mean. Women or woman... not so much. The drivers are always respectful and I know the wait time isn't always their fault --- so still tip. read more

I have eaten devito's on a few occasions, and I must say, I am always happy with the taste of their food. However, one day I found meal worms in my pizza. So, I called them up and told them, and figured it was a mistake. Unfortunately, I have been at parties since then where devito's was served, and there too, I have found meal worms in the pizza. I no longer order form devito's and I fast when devito's is served. read more

Usually onne short visit does not warrant a view, but this is an exception! I walked in and ordered a "Steak Bomb" (a steak & cheese with onions, peppers) and i watched them cook it up for about 8 minutes and the result was awesome!! So delicious I wish it were closer to home! read more

While eating lunch there recently, my husband and I witnessed the owner completely lose his mind, belittle his staff and threaten to smack a young man across the face. He saw us sitting there horrified and could not have cared less that we just payed money to eat in his establishment. The food and menu are great there, but the owner needs to learn how to manage his emotions or perhaps find another profession where he doesn't feel the need to verbally abuse and threaten his employees that are more than half his age. Disgusted. read more

Worst fish & chips of my life. Overcooked to the point of rubber bands. Shoestring potatoes as dry as cardboard, onion rings were way over cooked dark brown and not edible. The entire meal is in the trash. Don't bother with DeVito's. read more

I ordered a calzone from DeVito's a couple of days ago. While I was eating it, I bit into a piece of metal. It looked like a shard from a can lid, or a piece of steel wool. I've been in there before and it looks like just the two of them, I think they are working themselves too hard and not paying attention to the quality of their food. The 2 liters of Coke expired several months ago and yet they are still selling them. If the board of health were to inspect them today they would fail the inspection. I won't ever eat there again. read more

If i could give them zero i would. so unprofessional. They mess up my order and had the nerve to tell me they would send me the sauce to mix with the food. No i want a new order. Maybe you need to have someone else taking orders because clearly this woman was not trying to let me finish with my order and that's why she messed up. I order the buffalo alfredo and you want to send me the sauce to mix it. How unprofessional. to top it off, took them over an hour to deliver the food. Need to say the least i will never order from you people again. And my business orders from there all the time. you just lost several customers. read more

If you're craving a bathroom, come here. The whole restaurant smells like a cursed beast's farts, but that didn't stop me from going in. I assumed Danny DeVito owned the restaurant, and I wanted to add his autograph to my collection. So I ordered some sort of calzone with obscure meats in it. I tried to order a soda, but they only had those weird juice bottles and I had already had two weird juice bottles that day. I tried looking for the bathroom, then figured I'd just go in my pants. As they were handing me my food, the cashier whispered a gypsy phrase that turned my mother into a frog. Definitely not cool! Food was alright, but still unsure how I feel about the whole place. read more

My family and I absolutely love DeVito's. Their calzones are amazing. The cheeseburger dinner comes with a large, backyard sized cheeseburger and enough fries/ onion rings to split with your spouse or friend. The BLT...is the best I have ever had. If you haven't tried DeVito's....you are missing out on the best place in Taunton. read more

Awful. Pizza was packed with veggies but the buffalo sauce was weak at best. Cheeseburger pizza was originally delivered with no ground meat on it, they delivered another, packed it with a total of about 10 crumbles of meat. Flavor was mostly mustard, again, little to no meat on the cheeseBURGER pizza. Way over priced for below average pizza. Never again. read more
