We have eaten at Dough Licious several times, picked up and eaten on site at least a dozen times in our order is always very good.

It's... okay. Everything on their menu is just okay. I haven't got from here in a few months so their food might have changed, but there's nothing too special about this place. When I lived in Berkley it was the only pizza nearby that actually delivered so it was pretty much our only choice too. It's okay. Edible. Definitely better places to go though. (Not to mention all the local schools catered from here for pizza parties. I swear this is the only pizza joint near Berkley.) read more

Tried this place after seeing the amazing google/yelp reviews and was disappointed. The pizza was bland. They didnt know what an everything pizza was, (was charged 1.75 for every topping) and the taco pizza was missing half the ingredients listed on the menu. Told 1 hour for delivery, came 10 mins passed that. Kids meals had wrong fries, paid extra for sweet potato. Side of Sweet potato fries were soggy. Kids fries were soggy. No consistency in the chocolate chip brownies with the size. They get 2 stars because the Mac & cheese calzone & BLT sub was decent. I read the rave reviews and tried Dough Licious for a change from my usual pizza place. I thought I'd give the deep dish one a try. When it arrived, I opened the box enthusiastically, and dove into my first slice. Nom nom nom... but wait. Don't they use red sauce? I couldn't see any anywhere. Now I'm someone who can usually put a serious dent in a whole pizza, but by my second slice, I was throwing in the towel. This place is incredible. So many pizza places in the area seem to be the same old and basically taste the same. Not Dough Licous. The creative pizza combinations are unlike any other. And whether you go for one of these specialty pizzas or a simple pepperoni, you will be impressed. The pizza is very unique and tasty. The staff is super friendly and the sit in area is very kid friendly with an activity center. When they owner heard it was our first time there, he gave us a few samples of the various pizzas he was creating. We will be regulars from now on for sure. read more

An incredible experience from top to bottom. Brought my family there today - to say it is family friendly is an understatement. They have an entire corner dedicated to kids with toys, coloring, and kids books. We were offered samples of Dough Licious' new pizza creations, which was above and beyond. The pizza was incredible - so fresh - very generous portions. I got the taco pizza. Wow. It was loaded - felt like there was 6 tacos on top of the pizza. My wife got a chicken, mushroom and pineapple, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My oldest got the buffalo chicken pizza, which looked like it had a whole breast worth of chicken on the top. And my little one got a pineapple pizza and he loved it too. Great food, genuinely friendly staff/ownership, SUPER family friendly. The only downside is that it's too far from where we live!! We will be back, many times over - I highly recommend this restaurant. What a stroke of luck that we found this place!!!! read more

Excellent! Absolutely delicious! Best food in this entire area (Taunton, Raynham, MIddleboro, Berkley, Dighton, etc.) Chicken fingers are real, fresh, and fabulous (chicken breast they cut themselves), haddock is fresh and the bomb! Mozzerella stick = so tasty. Steak and cheese sub was delish. Pizza was sososo good and they have such creative combos. The dough is very soft, it resembled the softness of Domino's pizza, but the taste was homemade and awesome. I had a little bite of everyones food, and I'm very impressed. The portions are also huge, delivery was fast (they deliver to multiple towns in the area) and the customer service was excellent. Let me start with this, I live less than a mile from this place and for two years I steered clear of it due to poor service and finding hair in my food on 3 separate occasions. With that said, I had some friends over tonight who wanted to try it and I caved. I can't tell you how angry I am for doing it. Here's the scenario: Called and ordered two large pizzas at 630pm for pickup and was told it would take 20-25 minutes. I got to the place at 645pm and went to pay for the pizzas but when they repeated the order it was for a small pizza and a large pizza. After about a 5 minute conversation I decided that I would just take the small and large pizza even though I ordered two larges due to the time it would take to correct it. After 15 minutes I asked about our pizzas and how long it would take. We were told they would be right out. I waited another 10 minutes before asking about the pizzas again. This time I was told that they rang it in as one large sub and one small pizza. This is when the cashier went to the owner and they came to the front to speak with me. After speaking with the owner I reiterated that I ordered two large pizzas and he said that it would take 7 minutes and he would push them through right away. After waiting another 10 minutes the owner is walking towards me with one small pizza and one large pizza. Keep in mind that I just talked to him about the fact that I ordered two large pizzas. As I saw the small pizza I told him that I wanted the two large pizzas and he replied with that I was originally okay getting one small and one large. At this point I decided to not waste anymore time, he gave me my refund and I took home one small pizza and one large pizza. I'm honestly mostly upset with the fact that if I never called the pizzas in and just went there to place my order it would have been faster. I get the big picture that this isn't that big of a deal. But seriously after reading more recent posts about wrong orders or poor customer service it seems to be systemic with this place. Needless to say I highly encourage you to take the extra 5 minutes and drive to a different pizza place and give them your business. read more

Great meatballs and homemade crust YUM! We had the deep dish meatball pizza. You could tell the dough is fresh and handmade. The crust was crisp but chewy on inside, which I love. The meatballs were yummy. I could tell they were homemade. The chicken tenders were a judge portion and perfectly fried. The clam cakes special was a nice value and the flavor was good but not enough clam in them for me. But that small flaw doesn't deter me from ordering there again. 3 stars for a few reasons. First time trying here and although the owner was very friendly and delivery sercvice was fast the food was less than impressive. The pizza was not cooked fully, it was very soft and doughy. The thickness of crust was good but i would prefer it to be a little more well done. I will agree that the pizza was very cheesy, plenty to give you that stretch of cheese after each bite! I ordered the buffalo wings which werent my favorite. The sauce was good, not too tangy or vinegary but they were breaded and beyond soft. They werent crispy and deep fried like i prefer my wings. Im not crazy about breaded wings anyway and these proved my point. I opened the box and had to broil them on my own to make them a bit more dry and crispy. Would not go out of my way to order here again. These new owners are def. Nothing to compare to pizza market. Pricing for 2 small 1 topping pizzas was cheap. $4.99 each on Mondays and tuesdays. read more

Stop what you're doing right now and go order a Fish and Chip calzone! Oh my good god is it awesome! Its huge and stuffed with haddock and fries. We order from here once a week or so. The customer service is exceptional here, always friendly and helpful. The food is great and reasonably priced. The pizza is always good and my favorites, clam cakes and taco salad! The one thing I didn't care for was the chicken parm sub. The sauce was good but the chicken was grainy/fatty which is typical at most places. The owner is friendly and clearly cares about his business and customers. I've had the cheese pizza there and I didn't care for it. Not that there was anything wrong with it, but I really didn't like the sauce. The sandwiches are good and I like that the tuna is made to order. They use a nice bread that's good as-is or toasted. The buffalo wings have a tasty sauce. I'd prefer they were crispier...I'll try ordering them well-done next time. One thing that I don't like is that everything is really greasy. Everything I've ordered has that oily aftertaste. I'll go to this place in a pinch, but not regularly. Prices are reasonable for the area, eat-in or takeout option is nice. read more

I am not one to complain and I am all for supporting local business but the last couple of Sunday's my family and myself ordered food that came out terrible. I ordered a BLT sub and added chicken and onions I don't think that is a tuff order at all. The sub was barely toasted and drowning in mayo, I couldn't even eat the sub. Sadly it went in the trash along with the sides we ordered. The staff was unprofessional and clearly lacked effort in their job. I understand being a teenager at a job but we didn't see any management working. So with a heavy heart we will be taking a break from here until the food is improved or staff puts more effort into their work. read more

best local pizza spot anywhere. hands down. ive only been in the Berkley area for about a year, but I've been to dough licious a dozen times or more. the service has always been great in house and deliveries, and the pizza quality is consistent. usually we get the tomato blue and steak or chicken bomb sub, so good. nice place to grab the local Berkley Beer Co brews as well. so as long as they keep makin the good pies , we will be regular customers. read more
