All of the staff are excellent! Very empathetic, easy to contact via phone/text. I'm able to make same day appts very easily if needed. The psychiatrists I have seen have been extremely helpful! I am allowed to assist in my treatment, not just have medications thrown at me to cover symptoms. I have been dealing with depression/anxiety for over 25 years, have been treated by MULTIPLE providers. LTAW has offered the most pleasant, educational and effective treatment in all of those years. I had edema in both feet and he told me I needed to be rushed to the hospital because it would be fatal if I didn't go - no tests or bloodwork done, just basing it off of a pulmonary embolism I had few months prior even tho I am on blood thinners. He was very condescending, no bedside manner, could NOT be bothered by anything I said when I told him these were not the symptoms I had. I frantically went to the ER and there was nothing wrong with my heart, lungs or brain and I now have an ER bill because this man couldn't be bothered to examine me and listen to me.

Instead of helping, brought extreme emotional distress to the patient. A complaint has been filed with the Florida Board.

I had a really disappointing experience with this practice when trying to get my ADHD medication. I…read morespent almost three months requesting a specific medication that I know I don't feel any side effects with, only to be told that I had to try five other brands first before they could prescribe anything "fast‑acting." I found out today from my insurance provider that this wasn't true at all and it could be authorized without preauthorization use of trying other brands first and that my VA doctors had no issues prescribing that. I Never had to go through the trials and tribulations of slow acting drugs that gave me terrible withdraws. Whether its because this is a major big brand practice and has deals with certain big pharmaceutical companies to prescribe specific medications or for other reasons of the doctors being specific on what they have to recommend, the experience was expensive, frustrating, extremely misleading and unhealthy for the withdraws to not lead anywhere. highly do Not recommended and would conduct further research and choosing any other providers in the area besides them.
