I've been a patient here for going on 6 years and she's an absolute awful person. I've never had to deal with someone so spiteful and disgusting in my years of coming here. Hire a new receptionist. Everyone else there is amazing but her.

He is an extremely patient, understanding, caring individual I've had the pleasure of knowing. I'm also a physician myself, and I know the difficulty of running a private practice in this day and age. It is very challenging, yet their office has not only expanded but improved therapeutic modalities, treatment options, as well as remaining open to communication where office staff will address your concern immediately. I have seen Dr. DeVine since the age of 6. He has always had my back, he is family at this point, and one of the best psychiatrists, I know of. He puts the emphasis on the patient and humbly meets them where they're at. He has always gone above and beyond, and I'm confident the quality of his practice will remain exceptional in the years to come. I also am driving hours away just to stay onboard because he is worth the drive or flight. That should tell you something!

I was also talked to in a very disrespectful manner at times, he was also dismissive as he would fall asleep in the middle of our discussions, he would also get very impatient when he was trying to prompt to say certain traumas but I was finding the words are to create and he snapped at me to "just spit it out." The billing was also a challenge and he also diagnosed me with bipolar depression to which this was a new diagnosis and I have yet to have it confirmed since as I am with a new doctor. I definitely believe whole-heartedly that it is his time to retire and that it is really sad that a doctor, a psych doctor at that could be this way.

I had edema in both feet and he told me I needed to be rushed to the hospital because it would be fatal if I didn't go - no tests or bloodwork done, just basing it off of a pulmonary embolism I had few months prior even tho I am on blood thinners. He was very condescending, no bedside manner, could NOT be bothered by anything I said when I told him these were not the symptoms I had. I frantically went to the ER and there was nothing wrong with my heart, lungs or brain and I now have an ER bill because this man couldn't be bothered to examine me and listen to me.

Multiple changes were made at the same time,…read moreincluding tapering off one medication too aggressively while starting another at a high dose, without clear explanations of safety considerations. The approach felt overly aggressive rather than careful. I experienced significant sedation and had a fall during the night. When I contacted the doctor afterward because I felt worse, I was told that my "body is sensitive," which felt more like an excuse than a thoughtful explanation. I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice. Clear communication, careful pacing, and individualized care are essential, and that was missing here.

She is hands down the best psychiatrist I've had. She's super caring, down to earth, and really knows her stuff. She listens, gets what you're going through, and comes up with plans that actually work. Seriously, if you need a great shrink, she's the one to go to.
