Easily Portland's best strip club for the tattoo and rock and roll inclinded. I always loved this place but have been going more frequently now that I am in the neighborhood. The club has a low key, low pressure vibe and is well run. Drinks are strong and reasonable. The girls are always having a good time and are pretty damn amazing on the pole. Cricket, Ryder, Hazel, and Brodie will put your favorite dancers to shame on the stage. Piper is my personal favorite, so funny and outgoing *severe crush alert*. Hazel probably has the hottest body on planet earth. Even the bartender, Amy, is freaking gorgeous! The DJ kicks out Faith No More, Fugazi, Rancid, and Morphine between dances...somebody has some good musical taste. Now that I think about it..I am pretty sure I left my credit card there tonight. Me, reviewing a strip club? What? I wasn't actually planning on reviewing this place because I have nothing to compare it to. This was my first time ever stepping foot inside a strip club. Given my age which I'm not going to say, I guess most people would be surprised by this fact, since all of the people I was with that night were very much so. Anyhow, I was here for Stripperoake to celebrate a friend's birthday. I wasn't drinking because I was driving but surprisingly had a good time anyway. I had different expectations of what a strip club would be like and being impressed was not one of them. I was surprised. The night we were here there were two ladies (one was Brodie and I don't know the other one's name, but she was on right before Brodie) in particular who kind of made me forget where I was; their dancing was nothing short of art and showed incredible strength and talent. There was another one who was kind of obnoxious and seemed to be trying too hard and one more who was quite boring, but at least the karaoke was entertaining enough when those girls were up. This place seems to attract a mixed crowd, and I noticed it wasn't filled with a bunch of gross, creepy men like I expected. It definitely wasn't the skeevy experience I thought it was going to be. I guess I just don't get it. Not to say that I dig Stars or some of the other standard fare strip clubs, but this just isn't my scene. Perhaps if I drank PBR and had a beard I may like this place, but the girls were at best average. More importantly, they kept everything on for the first two songs. Sorry, but if I go up to the rail, you need to show something...ANYTHING! I mean, it is a strip club...you know, a place where women take their clothes off. The dancing...well, I guess that is what they call it...was marginal. A little bit writhing around on a pole doesn't really constitute pole dancing. And I have never paid so much for so little liquor in my drink. I have had weak drinks before, but this was definitely a Coke with a Jack spritz. The girls don't have to be barbie dolls or have lots of silicon to be fun to watch, and I don't mind an edge to the show...but really? I love karaoke, so Sunday night Stripparoke was a must-do in Portland. The bartender at my hotel rattled off a surprisingly long list of sinful attractions taking place around the city on Sundays, like fire dancers and other stripper-based activities, but it's all about pop songs and microphones over here. Devil's Point, with its divey environs east of downtown, was strip-club-non-regular-friendly, and the drinks (craft beer, natch) reasonably priced at $4 a pint. We got there in time to hear the rules of Stripparoke, which include tipping your dancer (a requirement, not a suggestion), no touching, and no pictures/video. The deal is that you get to pick out a song, the DJ calls your name when you're up, and you get on stage and sing while your dancer does her thing. I have forgotten the name of my dancer, but she was amazing. Maybe she just liked my song selection (Head Over Heels by Tears for Fears - one of my favourite songs to sing) She hung off the poles, swung from the ceiling, shook what her mama gave her in directions I didn't know things went, and also sexily loosened my ponytail and even picked me up at one point! I easily got the best dancer in the place, I think. Afterward, one girl in the crowd even asked if we were friends. It was a pretty cool experience. Afterward, we thought about sticking around to sing more songs and hear more people sing (there is some great singing talent at this thing as well), but the place was pretty packed and if you want to hang around a strip club, let's face it, you'd better keep drinking and tipping. Drinks are cheap, there's no cover and the staff are pretty low-key on the pressure, but you gotta keep the dollar bills going. I think it was money well spent for the evening's entertainment. Yet another stop in my whirlwind tour of Portland's strip clubs. I understand there are more strip clubs per capita in PDX than anywhere else in the country. I am going to go to them ALL. I had heard a lot about Devils Point, and finally made it out with a friend last night (Wednesday) for the last two hours before close. When I came in the bouncer asked me if I'd been there before, and when I truthfully said no, he gave me a somewhat chastising, "don't touch the dancers, don't use your phone, tip at least a dollar at the rack." Geez; just because I haven't been here before doesn't mean I'm a total asshole, but I guess it's cool he's looking out for the dancers -- it just grates on me since my friend came in one minute behind me and didn't get any of that. There were four girls dancing when we got there -- Berlin, Sydystyc, Dahlia and Tana, and *all* of them were hot, friendly, and knew how to move; a total treat. They were fun and flirty and talkative, and interacted with me a little at the rack, which is always nice. The place did not seem sleazy at all, which is KIND of a bummer, since that's always fun, but having a perky positive attitude is OK too. The lost star, though, is because the ladies' bathroom is a death trap; it has a recessed drain by the toilet for you to trip in, and when I bent over to draw up my panties I cracked my eye on the too-close sink. I arrived in Portland at 11pm on a Saturday night, not sure where my night would lead me and if I'd be able to find anybody I knew that was in town for the Roller Derby National Tournament. I ended up jammed into a cab with 9 other friends that I ran into on the street and eventually we ended up here. A strip club typically wouldn't have been my first choice for places to rock out but I ended up having a blast! The bartender was great and the drinks were strong and cheap. You can hang out in the back if strippers aren't really your think or you could go sit up front flinging your dollars on stage to the talented ladies. The dancers were straight up Suicide Girls and I wouldn't mess with them if I were you, because they could probably kick your ass! They were really strong, beautiful and talented and the songs they danced to were really fun and original. One even danced to the Super Mario theme song! read more

It's like a biker bar and a strip club had sex and created this dark, evil, wonderful place. Docked 1 star because no matter how hard I try to be friendly, the lady bartender just isn't having it. She's nothing short of surly every time we're there, and the lines start getting ridiculous around 930. It takes half an hour to get a damn drink sometimes. This is my favorite place to take my out-of-town visitors!! I am not a huge strip club fan.. but being from Utah, this place blew my mind. The girls are HOTTTT... and alternative.. none of those as-seen-on-TV type of strippers. They really know how to dance. Some of them do crazy handstands and are really hands on with the folks at the stage. I get totally invested in their performances. I often find myself dancing in my chair. They're damned good, yo. I love the attitude these ladies have when on stage too.. I've witnessed one gal jump off stage, grab a couple gentlemen and bring them to sit at the stage! Stripperoke is the number one best thing for a tourist to do in Portland, Oregon. It's basically Cirque Du Soleil but up close and with boobs. Some of the singers will be amazing. Some will be terrible. A fair number of giggling girls will do horrific renditions of popular rap songs from the 90s - These experiences will be the only negative experiences of the night. The performers are ridiculous. They do all sorts of acrobatics as part of their routines. This isn't your typical depressed 23-year old dancing to Marilyn Manson...this is basically a party on stage. So, I never thought I'd be reviewing a strip club on Yelp, much less giving a strip club a five star review, but here I am, doing just that. We went here for Stripperoke, so I can't speak to other nights, though I must say the fire on Monday's has me intrigued... After going here, one of the girls I was with summed it up perfectly, saying "It's more like a dive bar with naked women, than a strip club." That's exactly how I felt. Not to take anything away from the ladies, they are beyond talented. But the feel is just not the same feeling you get at other strip clubs (not that I've been to many). There is def none of the skeevy, degrading feeling that I expect. Instead, you sit in awe of the skills and talent of the strippers while having a good time with friends doing karaoke, and possibly see a naked lady or two grope your friends from time to time. And the beers are cheap (but that's all of Portland as far as I can tell). All in all, a fine way to spend a Sunday night. Now I just have to figure out a song that I won't sound awful doing so I can get on stage during my next visit to Portland, or maybe learn how to swing myself around that pole instead... read more

No cover. Hot girls. What more can you ask for? I unfortunately missed the stripparaoke and the fire dancers, but still had a great time. I went on a Friday night and the place had a good amount of places to sit. There was also a surprising amount of females in there, so I didn't feel out of place and it also didn't feel sleazy. The strippers were very skilled! They swung around the pole flawlessly and really flirted with the people sitting around the stage. All the girls were also astonishingly hot with great bodies. I really didn't expect them to be so pretty if there was no cover. I exchanged a couple of words with a few of the strippers while they were waiting for their next set and they were really friendly. The skinny, Asian girl was especially perky and was really happy that I complimented her skills :) Bottom Line: A great strip club for when you're going out with friends to just have a good time. Always a good time here! This is hands down our favorite strip club in Portland. Before the hubby and I moved here, our friends took us to Stripparoke and we were immediately fans of this place. It feels more like a dive bar with insanely hot women dancing on the stage. AND you should go there to see Berlin! She's our favorite! She always remembers us, is a total sweetheart, and I love that she's got god-given talents! (and by talents, I mean boobs, in case that wasn't clear.) We took a couple of friends from Seattle there last night and they had a fantastic time, even got up to sing. This is the only strip club I've been to. I've gone twice, once for a burlesque show ("sideshow speakeasy") and once for Stripperoake... where you sing karaoke while the strippers do their thing. It's sexy and silly. I don't know, it's not usually my scene, but I'm female and I felt very comfortable. The ladies were talented, beautiful acrobats. The customers were regular Portland bar folk. The bar was divey. The drink lines were a little crazy and I felt like the bartender didn't like me. The space was also bursting at the seams, at least during Stripperoake. Was visiting the area from southern Oregon. My girlfriend and I went to Devils point on a Saturday night and they were packed!!!! There isn't a cover charge thus why there were so many people standing around blocking the view of the stage. There were so many people and I can see why. The dancers were amazing! They had very good dancing skills especially while on the pole. They were very interactive with the customers and weren't shy at all even though the place was packed like sardines! Haha. Overall. If you like your women with tattoos and want to have a good time go on down to Devils point! They also serve food and drinks but we didn't buy any. The only con is the space is so small, it needs more chairs, and people need to stop blocking the stage so we can all enjoy the show! . read more

It's pretty tiny and the first time I went I was there for about 3 hours before I realized that I had not seen any actual nudity. Meh. The dancers didn't even need to, they were so much fun. NOTE: Do NOT slap Valentine on the ass while singing Baby Got Back...even if she wants you to. You will be singled out and ridiculed by the KJ. Oh, and the next time I went, I saw boobies! The wife and I decided to go try a little edgier strip club with a friend. Edgier is a good word for it, wow didn't realize skinny/bony tattooed gals could draw a crowd like this. This place is TINY! seating for maybe 50 people and it was packed on Friday night. The drinks were watered down and not cheap! Everybody seemed to watching the dancer on the stage but no one was tipping. The stage area seemed to be lined with friends of the dancer, it was hard to tell who was a dancer and who was a customer. My husband and I went here for the first time this Halloween to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a blast! The dancers are very cute, very friendly, and can dance very well. Their song selections were amazing and made this goth girl squee with delight most of the night! Even security and the bar staff were friendly. My only regret is that I had to go back up to Seattle before I could check out their karaoke night - but that just gives me another excuse to go back down! Shout out to Rion dressed up as Harley Quinn!! Thanks for being a sweetheart! I highly recommend this establishment if you like cute, tattooed ladies who can dance their asses off and really seem to enjoy what they do. I've never found anything like these girls in any other club I've been to (and I've been to quite a few). Plus, it's fun to try to guess how many hundreds of piercings that intimidating bouncer has. The best strip club in town. I love Devils Point. My wife and I come by every now and then for the Saturday night shift and we both have such a great time. I think the best part about the place is that it doesn't feel like a strip club. There's awesome naked tattooed girls of course, but it feels like you're watching a cabaret performance in a dive-y punk club rather than a bunch of bored girls shaking their asses on multiple stages to horrible modern rock music while you wave dollar bills in the air. I absolutely hate that atmosphere and Devils Point is the exact opposite. These girls dance to great punk and alternative music, are all very talented performers in their own unique ways and the drinks are fairly inexpensive. I'm bummed that the city shut down the fire dancing because Ivizia's fire spinning on Saturday nights was such a huge highlight. But it's still a great place to have fun, watch some great naked performers and share your leftover cash. read more

I've been to hundreds of strips clubs in the last decade and since moving to PDX I've found my favorite one to be Devil's Point. There are so many reasons to visit; from the great food (Their fried mozzarella sticks are good enough that I just go there to eat) and strong drinks served by the awesome Bartenders to their absolutely exquisite dancers not to mention the greatest reason to go out on a Sunday night, Stripparoake! The girls are gorgeous, talented, friendly and easy to talk to. Pixie gives a lap dance that's as close to a religious experience as you can get. WOW. i enjoyed my experience at DP I was headed to Portland and thought i would take advantage of the strip club scene. From the facebook page and exotic magazine ads this one looked like a fairly hip place where the girls would be sexy and cool too. The girls were indeed fun especially brodie- just take care that she doesn't bust your nose with one of her moves. charlie foxx - wow! how sexy can one girl be? my only qualm was with a dancer named cricket. best pole dancer i've ever seen but not friendly at all. there were a few of us at the stage paying our requisite tips- and since she was so great on the pole we all tipped a bit more than usual. there were others sitting away from the stage who didn't tip. after her set, instead of being gracious to those of us who did tip, she just gave a dirty look to those who didn't and said sarcastically, "thanks a lot". i was up there tipping but got no smile from her, she would not even give me eye contact while she was dancing. i'll still go back next time i'm in PDX, but when cricket dances i'll probably be one of those who sits away from the stage and doesn't tip. read more

I've been to a handful of strip clubs around Portland and so far this is my favorite! I thought it would be overrated but was glad to find that it was far from it, at least from what I saw on my first visit. I went on a Friday night around 11:30pm. The place was busy but there were a few open tables left. It's a completely different experience sitting at the stage rack so I recommend it! The rack was full and whenever people got up to leave it, others made a beeline for the empty chairs (almost like playing musical chairs, and I lost a few times). The six dancers that night were very entertaining and skilled at the pole. They wore a variety of footwear (ballet flats, tennis shoes, bare feet, heels). They were attractive, fit, and had great stage presence. I'm not sure where they do lap dances, as the dancers seemed to disappear after their set and not really hustle people for dances. I recommend visiting this club, especially during the weekend! read more

This place is awesome! The drinks are reasonably priced, the ladies are freaking fantastic dancers, pole artists, and just generally likable and fun. Both times we've been there have been a blast (Stripperoake), and we plan on attending more during non-Stripperaoke nights. There is definitely no seedy feeling here, as everyone seems to enjoy being there and treat it more like hanging out than work. It's a pleasure to watch them, chat them up, and send some cash their way. We go there with a group of friends (including several couples), and every time we have a blast! Picture youself walking into a place with the bar on your immediate left, a crowd in front of you, the stage in front them has a live band, and the stage immediately next to the band has "exotic dancers" on it. You've just pictured yourself at Devil's Point. There is a mixed crowd here, which means there are actually quite a few females in the crowd. There is nothing but fun attitude in here. Holy smokes what can I say! My boyfriend and I were up for the Brewer's Festival a couple weeks ago and wanted to enjoy some sexy nightlife. This club is hands down the best club I have been to, EVER! The girls were all beautiful, down to earth, and they had absolutely amazing acrobatic skills. My favorite was Ryder although all four girls that were dancing for the evening were all fantastic. The stage area is very quaint and I love how the lighting and setup gives that perfect allure. The chains holding the stage are a nice touch. The bartender is very knowledgeable and all drinks were made very high quality. My boyfriend had a fantastic time, including a private dance from his favorite Brodie Grody and let's just say, I paid her double because the girls frankly weren't charging enough for their dances in my opinion.
