I was recommended Device City by a family member. Wish I had never gone to see them. I brought my phone in October 26th to get the screen replaced. My deposit was half of the $140 repair bill. I was told 5-7 business days. On 11/7/2019, the 8th business day, I had not recieved any word from them. I called to find out the repair was being done then. Later the same day I recieved texts(see pics) saying it is damaged. I refused to take a broken screen to replace a broken screen. I was told they would order another. After receiving no communication on December 2nd I called during business hours 3 times. This is 36 days after I dropped it off. I had no phone over the holiday and am upset about all of this. On the third they finally answered. The owner, TJ was not available. His employee proceeded to tell me they are no longer going to fix it. Nothing is being done to make any of this right. I asked for TJ the owner to call me. He did not. This morning December 3rd I called. Same employee answers. Says TJ is not there. Claims he called already this morning. I have no missed call and no voicemail. I am offered a refund. I have already been without a phone for 37 days. After I got upset because they obviously do not care and are not honoring their end of the verbal contract to provide the repair the employee decides he is too sensitive for real talk. Bought my iphone 7 there 10 months ago, they said then we have a year warranty, a couple of weeks ago it got wet and took there to have it fixed. "Warranty was for 1 month" - they go, whatever I had to fix it so I go with it. Ended up paying 200!!! in the end (30 in advance for who knows what) and 170 when I got the phone back. Weeks later phone is still shit, screen goes black etc.. U called if they can clean it again maybe they obviously not. Avoid the place its a complete rip off!!! Took the phone to another place they opened it and said it was wiped with somethinh but has never seen a cleaning machine and some parts were completely missing from it. read more

I just had my phone green replaced yesterday for 50$. Today I woke up to a small pressure crack at the top of my phone. I texted the guy to let him know. He told me it would be 60$ to fix it. I literally just paid 50$ yesterday. Then he proceeds to tell me I'm being ridiculous for asking for a replacement for free. They are not honoring their work or their warranty. I did not have to wait long even though they had other clients.. it was a great experience. I felt very safe with handing my phone over to them... i had checked out on line about changing out a broken screen.. and read about the horrors associated with making one wrong move.. BUT.. I dropped my LG G2 and ordered a digitizer+lcd combo over Amazon. I attempted to replace it myself but I was an idiot and accidentally stripped one of the small screws that's hooked to the motherboard on the phone. Unfortunately, TJ couldn't get the stripped screw out. I asked if there was anything that could be done. He said normally we couldn't do anything for you, but with LG they have a way to replace the digitizer and LCD without removing the motherboard all the parts. He charged me a lot less than I thought it would cost and fixed it good as new! I was sweating bullets when I stripped that screw but now I am extremely thankful that he was able to fix it for me good as new! I absolutely need my phone for my business. So today I was threaten with the police after dropping the fuck bomb when the owner tech argued with me about a home button that was working just fine before there screen went out. I have spent over 700 dollars in this place and the business should advertise like prescription meds, because you take the service for one thing and end up with our other phone problems. I had them put a screen in a week ago the battery start tripping no no biggie cable looose. Bring it in assistant tech trying to sell me a battery and Touch ID ain't working. Bruh it was working just fine before I came in. Arguing about charging me another 65$ or 45$ (key the magic numbers for additional risk). Only check once he got mad for being forth coming in front of other customers. Finally he pops the plugs back in phone working fine. Screen blanking out today they parts. 90 warranty again they tried me with the home key thing and they magic numbers but went so far as to say he was going to call the police all cause they don't want to honor they BS warranty. Owner started lecturing me on how many business he has and there is something wrong with my motherboard really and customer service. Really I have on being in customer service over 20 which is what you lack. Threatened to call the police based on the me being mad that don't repair phones the prescription them. New screen nothing wrong with my phone but they sh... parts. Oh, this is the power of customer and the CUSTOMER's EXPERIENCE. I've never been so mistreated by a business in my life! This place is a joke! Let me tell you about my experience. I went in There Thursday, December 27,2018 to try to fix my laptop screen, they gave me a quote and said it will take a week and to put a deposit down. That's understandable since they have to order the part. A week went by, I called to check the status of my laptop, the guy on the phone said the part hasn't come in Yet and to check back later. That's fine since I'm patient. A week went by again so I called To check the status on my laptop, again they said it still haven't arrived yet, so it has been 2 weeks now. So I waited and finally decided to call again. The owner picked up and he said they ordered the wrong part. He told me that the tech ordered the wrong part and it's going to take 4 more weeks since it's coming in from China. I started asking questions like how much more is this going to cost me? And Why it's going to take that long? He automatically got defensive and loud and rude to me! He started to raise his voice at me and told me he don't want my business anymore and to come and pick up my deposit and my laptop!! He threw an adult tantrum for absolutely no reason at all!! And to top it off, he hung the phone up on me!! I couldn't believe how I was talked to , how he treated me, let alone being mistreated by a business that is supposed to be professional!! I wish I could leave ZERO stars!!!! Beware everyone, they don't give a shit about you or ur things and they obviously don't care about customer service!! Not only was the price about half of the deductible on my phone's "insurance" plan, Gabriel had it done in less than an hour.
