Really good bear claws and turnovers. Staff was helpful and nice! My only regret was I couldn't try everything.

The fat was as white as paper. The meat cold to the touch. I asked the waitress to have it warmed. When it returned it looked much better and was the right temperature and appearance. However, it was terrible. The meat tasted old and had a tinny taste to it. My wife absolutely enjoyed her chicken dish and we enjoyed out meal with friends. When I paid the bill I let the waitress know that the prime rib didn't improve and was terrible. She apologized and gave a small discount on the bill. Unfortunately, this is the second bad prime rib I have gotten at the Fox Den. I am not picky and just want consistency in a restaurant. For over $30 you have a consistent product or don't offer that item. Since you advertise it as a restaurant specialty you should really stand behind the quality a little better. Maybe offer to replace it with a fresh cut. Overall, I am sure we will go there again, just not as often. PS I commented on one of their ads on Facebook and they deleted by comment without a response. Mistakes are made, own it and improve on it.

Nobody had any hats on so I felt really excluded wearing a cape and neckerchief. I will go again because the prices were very expensive and I like that sometimes when I'm hungry for a drink at a great price!! I go here for the Ambiance and the lack of Ambiance.

The homey decor paired with the friendly service made it feel like you were visiting a friend who also happens to be a baker extraordinaire! The staff here goes above and beyond with the drink attentiveness--our waitress kept the refills coming and even offered us a coffee to go as the place was winding down. Now that's hospitality! Located conveniently across from the Tesla superchargers, it's the perfect pit stop for some recharge-yourself-while-you-recharge-the-car vibes. And don't leave without trying a slice of their famous pie. We were tipped off by the waitress that the buttermilk and berry pies are the crowd favorites, and I can see why! If you're a pie person, don't miss. Food-wise, it's classic Michigan fare. The chicken and rice soup of the day was exactly what you'd expect--simple, no-frills, but satisfying. I also tried the quiche of the day, which came with a fruit cup (not the freshest fruit ever, but no complaints here) and a homemade scone that was delicious! The pesto chicken sandwich hit the spot, too. Whether you're here for the pies, the quiche, or just to soak up the local charm, Mulberry Cafe has you covered. And with an attached gift shop, you might just find a cute souvenir to remember your visit.

I was here with my family of seven including two preschoolers and one elementary school child. The restaurant overlooks a small section of Lake Cadillac, therefore we opted to eat outside. It was a beautiful sunny day in early August. See my pics and video. I started with my Bellaire American Brown Ale from Short's Brewing. Bellaire Brown Brown Ale has notes of chocolate, toasted malt, caramel and coffee. It is full bodied, dry and easy on the palate. I enjoyed my waterfront wet burrito, a town classic favorite with a fluffy flour tortilla with seasoned ground beef stuffed with refried beans, vine ripened tomatoes and crispy lettuce drenched in homemade burrito sauce with melted Mexican cheeses for $15.99. My total bill was $111 excluding gratuity. Now back on the road for our remaining drive up to Petoskey.
