I recommend my brother to go here for a car wash. He paid $53 and they only vacuumed and shampooed his carpets. They did not wipe down the interior at all or even tried. When he went back to tell them, the lady said they were very busy and his car was very dirty so they told him he needs to go somewhere to get a detail because they don't do detail there. They also did not give him back one of his mats, I'm guessing they were so busy they forgot one of his mats. The lady said to come back another day and ask for manager, she won't refund him his money but can try to get another car wash to see if they will clean interior again. He was very upset and will not be coming back here again and neither will I because how do they only do cars that are very clean vs something that's semi dirty. I brought my truck in for wash, paid for the platinum service. $37.99, and the tire / plastic dressing was on the paint, rims and only on some of the plastic. My dash was still dusty, there was still loss dirt on my carpet and seats. The basic wash might be ok here, but they don't take anymore time with the upgrades. Several workers cleaned and wiped down the car which was great for getting the cleaning finished and on my way, but they were efficient at the expense of being thorough. There was still some road grime and bugs on the paint. Paid for the Gold level service which included "wheel brite" (how they spelled it). Not sure what that is but they didn't wipe down the wheels after, so they still have road film and spotting. A few more minutes and a little extra care is all it would have taken for 5 stars and a happier customer. read more

I have been looking for a local car wash that will wash my car inside and out and I am happy to say that I finally found them. For a while, I was driving down to Hayward to find a place that would hand dry and hand clean the inside of my car. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place just a 9 minute drive from my house. The prices are reasonable, I believe that I paid $25 for an exterior wash (through the car wash tunnel), hand dry, interior wipe down, including windows, vaccumming the floor mats, and dressing the tires. If you don't care for tire dressing the price goes down to $20 and there was one more option, if you are interested in a light wax coating, for $30. There were two guys wiping down my car when it came out and one took the extra time to clean up some sticker residue on the dash when I pointed it out. The entire process only took about 15-20 minutes, which was AMAZING. They did a great job and I will definitely be back. read more

I checked in and when I went to pay, the girls at register said they don't take that anymore.... I had literally just checked in today and they don't take it. I don't think my car has ever been so clean! I called them Monday morning, and was able to come in at noon to get a mini detail- which includes a car wash of the outside, and cleaning of the inside. Online it's quoted at $88 and up, so I was expecting to pay around 95 dollars with tax and everything, and the fact that I drive an SUV. Not only was the total exactly $88 dollars, but I was pleasantly surprised that my car looked amazing! They cleaned every nook and cranny and did it in a little over an hour! Selling my car and got a wash & detail, the "basic" package was around $90. They are very friendly! First I had an oil change (you get a $10 discount coupon with the detailing to use for the oil change..which you get first, then they give you a $10 coupon for the detailing). When I called I got sent to voicemail which was Full; I then requested a call-back on Yelp and got called back almost immediately--less than 2 minutes! Super friendly guy on phone, made an appt and headed down there. The oil change was first, they explain every step and are super professional and personable. Easy and Done. Afterwards, drove over to the car cleaning area where I was immediately greeted by an extremely friendly employee who directed me to the waiting room. Had to wait a bit but I expected that, my only complaint there was the HORRENDOUS christian music they were playing in the waiting room, I swear I wanted to jab a pencil in my ear to make it stop. Was called out when the car was done, looked good to me, inside and out, car is ready to SELL! My only 2 negative issues: One, you get in the car when you leave and its still wet and basically GREASY from the stuff they use to clean the interior (Armor All?), within seconds of driving off I had to pull over to wipe my hands, yuck. Maybe they should wait a couple minutes before calling the customer? Or? Second issue, I should have inspected everything before I left. I basically showed my car to sell and when I opened the trunk, it was NOT cleaned. At all, not vacuumed. Is that not included? Or they forgot? Not a huge deal and I partly blame myself for not checking, I just assumed it would be vacuumed...and it was rather dirty, leaves etc...luckily the buyer didn't mind (he could see I was really surprised/embarrassed) and the car sold, so all is good... Would I go here again? Probably, the friendly employees won me over, EVERYONE was friendly here. But don't just jump in and drive away, look everything over so you have no disappointments! read more

We haven't had the interior cleaned in a few years, and it really needed the attention. My mom, 90 years young, was quite happy with how her car looked. I have taken two cars to Detailstop, and both times I said to myself, why didn't I do this sooner? The first car I had detailed was a 10 year old Pathfinder that we were putting up for sale. I called around and these guys had the best price in the area. Not only was the price good but they made my 12 year old car look brand new both inside and out! Sean was super easy to work with. Communication was clear and he was more than willing to work with my crazy schedule for drop off and pick up. My car had water spots that I thought had ruined the finish, but now it looks brand new. They were also able to completely erase scratches that I was worried would need to go to a body shop. Sorry to post this update, because it's negative. I returned to have a second car detailed by this place prior to putting it up for sale. I spoke with Sean the manager to schedule the appointment and he was courteous and professional. He suggested some package for me that cost $149 - but looking at their website now, I don't know exactly what I got. It couldn't have been their interior super clean for $149, because they did NOT shampoo the carpet or seats. Nothing else on their website is listed for $149 - so it remains a puzzle. Anyway, arrived and some person at the counter took my keys, didn't confirm what work was to be done, and left to take it to the car wash down the street. No problem, since I had such a great experience last time - I felt confident these guys would do a good job the second time around. The owner was not there at the time - maybe that's why things didn't go as well as I'd hoped. I didn't see the manager Sean either. Three young guys working in the bay - sounded like they were looking forward to getting off work on a Friday as there was lots of joking around, tossing sponges and whatnot, and hooting. I don't care - as long as the work is done professionally. I waited and waited in the ever more cold waiting room. Nothing to see on the tv screen but work done by them on other cars. Nothing to read but a Community Voice newspaper. No water dispenser, no coffee. Two guys in the office with the door closed, watching something on tv. After an hour and a half, my vehicle was finally done. It was only at this point that one of the guys said, "you have a stain in the back of the car." How about you notice the stain while you're doing the work and ask the customer whether he/she wants you to do something about it? Mats still wet and placed in the back. Front windshield had smears. Side mirrors either weren't done at all or left with water spots. Every little scratch was emphasized, not de-emphasized. In short, I had the exact opposite experience from the first time I was here. What a complete disappointment. My advice - don't take your car in on Friday afternoons. Also, make sure the owner will be on site when you take your car in - I am pretty sure he runs a tight ship when he's around. read more

This was the worst "detail" job I have ever had. The high quality car washes do a better job for a fraction of the price. My interior had a very uneven application of inexpensive gooey crap. Lots of the product in the easy to get to areas and non in areas that weren't as easy. Windows were streaked and smudged. The exterior was not cleaned very well at all for a "detail" shop. the plastic trim was left untreated and stuck out like a sore thumb. A detail shop this is not. Don't waste your money. Worth about $45 at most, not $225 or more that they are asking. read more

For $100, the detailing service was just OK. There is still a mark where they put tape on the back on the car to hold the rear wiper in place while the car went through the car wash. While the car was being detailed they must have left the ignition on with the air conditioner blowing and the radio at full volume. Waste of time and money. they do not know how to clean carpets at ALL.! I decided to take my SUV to this place after looking at he reviews,(bad idea). while driving after getting fast food one of the sodas (coke) got on the back seat carpet , I called to make an appointment to have it clean I talked to Thomas ,great guy by the way. I got to my appointment they saw the SUV and i explain what happened and the specific location where the carpet needed attention they said "no problem will take care of it". It took all day to have it "clean" i notice it was not clean right Tomas told that some spot will come back and i could bring it back . *How a spot will comeback when was never gone?* i did not use the SUV all week to leave it dry ,i took it back on a Saturday i told Thomas they missed a big portion on the back and pointed all the parts where they missed and again , they said no problem we will get it right. left it all day at 9 am till 4:30pm when i picked it up i was very upset . the spots were there. Lets for get about the spots, for know...it was not even vacuum correctly ! you can still see the dirt .the carpet still sticky from soda . I told Thomas to make it right he had no idea who clean the car , he sd was personally embarrassed because he agreed was not done right. asked me to talk to SEAN. I had to drive to the OILSTOP talked to Sean i explain my concerns ,he asked me for more money. *when the job was not done right* He told me my carpet was "beyond" i told him that is why i brought this here so they can clean it.he asked me to leave the truck another day .3 days?wow he argued i was not charged enough .i don't care to pay more for a service that is worth it but they quoted 79 dollars just to clean carpet and 79 should be. and if there was an extra charged they should tell you BEFORE not after . I am a certified carpet cleaner but before that i am a customer , they should make a better job . I really feel sorry for those people who pay 300- 400 dollars and the job is not done right. i will recommend take it to a local shop not a franchise . read more

Just giving a 1 because I have to select something. had my car washed paid for all the extras on 6/20/2021. Left and went grocery shopping. Put my grocery's in my hatch back and seen they didn't even vacuum the back or wipe it down, even gave them a $11 tip. Hoping they would do a better job then last time. Well nope it was no good again. I went back and told the guy can you please vacuum the back. he said no you need a shampoo, I said no you need to vacuum I gave you a lot of money to clean my car. He vacuumed it up in about 20 seconds. I had to go through and tell him where to wipe on the spots he missed. This place used to be amazing I was always happy. Not sure if it's new management or what but your cleaning crew is getting lazy. Looks like I am back to driving to Petaluma on the Blvd. They do a great job. Called on a lovely weekend afternoon, Rob said he could get me right in and it was not an emptry promise. Four guys clayed/buffed/sealed/waxes my 5 year old minivan (I know what you are thinking-overkill) while I played a few arcade games at the family fun center next door. I came back in two hours and the van looked better than new. They buffed out some light scratches, the paint reflected images clearly and was buttery smooth. I took my extra grungy car in to be cleaned today. Sand everywhere in it, dirt in the leather, gunk in places gunk shouldn't be. In other words, a car like a war chariot after a gruesome battle. They did an absolutely great job cleaning it up. Got dirt out of the leather that I thought was there for good. The staff was friendly, professional and thorough. Never had a detailing before, but after 3 years of hauling our dog around our car was filthy. We put our RAV4 in for an interior detailing and they did an excellent job. I usually hand wash and wax my '68 chevelle myself for a few reasons. It gives me the feeling of a job well done, and I don't trust anyone else with my car. At the end of this last week I had realized that I was entered in a car show on Sunday, and still had not started the cleaning process (can take hours). So, I went out on a limb and Yelped some detailing shops. Detail Stop had very good reviews so I gave it a shot. I emailed Robert on Friday afternoon to see if he could get the detailing done on sat. He emailed me back in hours saying yes. I shot up to Rohnert Park to a very clean and well put together facility with 4 (i think) detailing bays. Robert came out, gave a REALISTIC evaluation of the work he would be doing along with the results. I was focused on detailing just the exterior of the car. Being that I usually do all of this stuff myself, I knew he was being very honest with his quote and promises. I left the car with him, and returned in about three hours to pick it up. I was VERY impressed with what he had been able to accomplish with my car. He even did a quick run through of the interior for me just to make it look a little better. Wow! What a great job. Dr. Detail spent 4.5 hours bringing my 2008 black Prius back to near factory condition. This after I made the mistake of having a very less experienced amateur almost ruin my paint job. Detailstop is amazing! I recently had a few scratches pop up on my new car. I was so upset. Detailstop took care of it. The scratches are either gone or next to invisible. I have to give a major shoutout to Shawn, the manager. He was more than exemplary. He spent a great deal of time with me going over my vehicle personally and answered all of my questions. He even answered questions about my vehicle that were unrelated to my current service. I will continue to go to this location because I was treated like more than just another customer.
