Details Salon is a step above all other salons in the Lexington area. I have been going to Details for many years for their professional facials, manicures & pedicures and hair services. Most recently I hired Details to do the hair and makeup for myself and my entire bridal party on my wedding day. To say they were spectacular would be an understatement! My hair was beautiful, and I get compliments on it every time people look at my wedding pictures. They came on location and did all of the hair and makeup services at my ceremony site. They were fun, relaxed and professional and we could not have asked for a better team to help out that day! I also get facials every year on my birthday from Tigi at Details. I have been to various salons and was never 100% satisfied with the result. However, my mom and I bought a Groupon a couple years ago to Details. I loved the services they provided from the massage to the hair cut! Ever since then, I have recommended Details to my friends and co-workers! I have asian hair which has a different texture than most hair. I have been to a Korean hair salon and various salons around Lexington. Finally I found someone that could style my hair in way that satisfied me! Donna did an AMAZING job! She also suggests different ways that I could style my hair that would suit me. She has styled my hair, highlighted my hair, and even did the Brazilian blow out (best choice I have ever made-I love the blow out!)! Alittle over 3 years ago, I went looking for a new hair stylist. I met Donna who was working at a different salon at that point and ended up following her to Details Salon. Not only could she do everyone's hair amazingly, she is a down to earth person that you feel like you can be yourself around. My husband has even said he would never go anywhere else to get his hair cut. Any time he went to get it done before we met Donna he would always throw on a hat after his hair cut because he never really liked it. We have also come to know Adam who is down to earth as well and always cracking up everyone in the salon. I have been going to Details Salon for my stylish haircuts and color since they opened 13 years ago. (It's hard to believe it's been 13 years!!!) Adam is extremely knowledgeable in hair color and design and keeps up to date on new techniques to keep your style fresh and fashionable. He takes his time and really understands his clientele wants and needs. The salon is professionaly decorated with a modern feel and has a cozy and tranquil atmosphere.
