Pay the extra money and go with parties to go. We reserved pipe and drape for an OUTDOOR event for a privacy walls. This was discussed when we placed our order. We also paid for weights so they wouldnt blow over. When we got home from picking up our order we discovered they had shorted us a curtain and there was nothing to weigh down the drapes- they should have e included pipes to go alone the bottom sleeve. When I called back she tried to charge me MORE money for addentional pipes and I would have e to come pick up thw missing drapes as well. Horrible customer service!!! Their team was able to travel to a very remote venue they'd never been to previously, and they were very flexible with our timeline over the course of our 2 day event. So I called this place after another event company recommended them, I wish they hadn't. I rented a couple heaters, propane tanks, chairs and tables with delivery. The table and chairs were quite dirty and required some elbow grease to clean. I was not about to have my guest sit on such dirty chairs. I rented two patio heaters which worked beautifully, I just wished they came with the bolts to secure the tops with. I guess my biggest issue with them was the fact that i paid for two 20lb propane tanks for the heaters but received 5lb tanks that were half full!! I believe that when if you pay for something in good faith one should expect everything as promised. I am quite upset for being misled and LIED to. I do NOT recommend this company unless you want to deal with some shisters. Delivery cost would be reasonable if they set up three equipment instead of just dropping it off, otherwise it is highway robbery of $35 each time. Be warned this company is unreasonably priced and misrepresented themselves. read more

I couldn't have been happy with the customer service and the bouncy house we rented. My grandkids were ecstatic and the three days was great after the long summer of staying home. The set-up was very quick as was the take down. Mc Kenzie was very informative for setting this up and keeping in contact about the delivery. They called right before they came to deliver and pick-up. The bouncy house was quite large and four children could jump and slide together. I think this will be an annual event for the kids from now on. The price was quite reasonable for all of the entertainment it generated. Great company and very friendly people. read more

Don't do it. Just don't. I rented tables, chairs, linens, twinkle lights, and two dance-floors + subfloors. Here's how it went: The day the items were delivered, the delivery guy and his helper started to unload things. We offered to use our tractor to help move items, assuming this would cut time in half... No. So we get the dance-floor pieces and subfloor to the ground and it turns out their idea of a "subfloor" is a single layer of uneven plywood. The ground wasn't perfectly flat, because it was grass, but it wasn't bad. I assumed that with the subfloor that was advertised on their site (You know, the 7 plywood thick subfloor in the picture)would be sufficient. But silly me, that's not what they use. So, with about 12 x 30 feet of uneven and misaligned plywood, they start assembling the dance-floor. It's so bumpy then you couldn't even walk on it without stumbling, let alone dance. We mention this to the delivery man, who replies: "That's not my problem. I don't deal with that, take it up with Casey. I don't know what you expect for the price you paid." I kid you not. He said that. Unprovoked. He was an asshole. I'm sorry, but I paid $500 for that, so I'm not sure what price he thinks it takes to get a decent dance-floor, but apparently that's not it. Unwilling to battle with these people two days before the wedding, we gave up. They left, and there we were with an unusable dance-floor. The next day, my husband and his family used shims to fill in the uneven areas and made a close to usable dance-floor. Now for the other items: The "twinkle lights"? They're cheap christmas lights on green wire. Not as advertised. The tables? Chipped and broken all around the edges. The table clothes? Oh yes, this is fun. We ordered 9 60-inch round tables. I also requested 9 90-inch round tablecloths. What did I get? 9 60-inch square tablecloths. If you're not into math, the table clothes that were delivered didn't even cover the ugly plastic tables that were delivered. Seriously. The company who delivered the tables also delivered tablecloths that didn't fit said tables. Unfortunately for me, I didn't check the table clothes until the day of the wedding. Conveniently for Destination Events, they're closed on weekends and do not answer their phone. Needless to say, I had to scramble last minute to get table clothes elsewhere. They didn't refund us. So, now you know. Stay away from them. Go with Parties to Go. They were easy to work with and had quality items. read more

5 stars for amazing customer service. I used this company for my wedding, as I was maid of honor at my friends wedding last year and she also used them without any problems. I rented several light stands and strings of lights. Unfortunately the stands were not stable and toppled over breaking a lot of the lights, making them unusable for my event. When I returned the equipment the next day I explained what happened and was very worried they would charge me for the broken lights, even though the equipment was faulty; that's just how some places roll. The boys unloading said I would need to discuss the concerns with management when they were back from vacation. I wrote an email with my dissatisfaction and was promptly contacted by another staff member apologizing for what happened and requesting I wait for the managers to come back to discuss further. No problem. Today I received an email from the manager sincerely apologizing for the events that took place on my wedding day, and explaining what had happened. Turns out they got the lights from another company and hadn't gotten a chance to inspect them before they went out to us. Not only did they not charge me for the broken lights, but they refunded the price I paid and assured me they will not be using those light stands in the future. They also offered me a discount on future rental services due to the inconvenience. I completely understand human errors, it's when you feel like people don't listen or care when they make those errors that I get upset. This company is fabulous at customer service, and their genuine concern that things had not gone as expected is what really made me feel better about everything. I strongly believe that anyone leaving a negative review did not contact them to politely explain their discontent or they would have done everything in their power to fix it. I had a great experience while renting some party equipment from Destination Events. Not only was I in and out in no time while renting a few thermoses but the woman who helped me was very warm and friendly. She helped me pick out what I needed for my event and I was very happy with the cost of each item per day. They have many services to offer like photo booths, table cloths, tables, popcorn machines and so much more. When I picked up my rentals on a Wednesday afternoon I was told I could return them on Friday morning for the 1 day price. It was really nice to know that I had a little extra time to return them just in case the weather (during the giant ice rain storm) kept me from making it back the next day. I booked Destination Events for my wedding reception entertainment. When looking at venues, my husband and I asked who they recommended. This DJ service came highly recommended. Since entertainment was one of the most important things to us for our wedding, we didn't shop around and called Casey up to book his services, even though they were higher priced than others. Before I called Casey, I went to the Bridal Show at the Fairgrounds and met a very nice younger man that was a DJ for the company. We clicked right away-he liked the same kind of music as my husband and I (Hip-Hop/Rap) and had a great personality. I wrote down his name so I could request him. The original contract Casey sent me has this man's name on the Contract so I was feeling great about it. A few months later I decided to use this company to also rent a projector and screen for a slideshow. When Casey sent me a new contract, the DJ was different than the young man I had on my first contract. When I called Casey to ask about the change, he said that the man was specially requested for another wedding. I told him I specifically requested him also and he said he didn't realize that. He assured me that the new DJ was great and took $100 off my bill. I was still upset, but I felt confident that Casey was taking care of me. When we went to meet with the new DJ, I was not happy. Not only did we not click, but he told us he primarily did receptions with Country music and didn't really know any Hip-Hop/Rap music! I couldn't believe it. My husband and I had gone through their entire music catalog and highlighted songs we liked, so he said that since we had that it would be fine. He will play the music we requested. I still wasn't happy, but what could I do at this point? I still don't understand why Casey would pair us up with this DJ when he knew our style of music. A WEEK before my wedding, get this, I get another call from Casey saying he double booked our DJ AGAIN! And of course by this point we had already paid for the DJ services so there was no discount. I couldn't believe that the week of my wedding when I should be doing necessary last minute details and spending time with my out-of-town family, that I had to go and meet with another DJ to go over details. We met with him and he was a younger guy so I thought maybe it was for the better since he knew our style of music. Well, the day of the wedding showed I could not be happy with him either. He mis-prounounced about half of our bridal party's names, even though we went over it all at our meeting and I even wrote down the phonetic spelling of them all. And he mispronounced our last name numerous times! It's a one syllable common and easy name! He announced dinner 30 min early and my guests started getting up and filing into the buffet room--I gave him a timeline with the exact times for everything! He was not smooth at all when doing any of the announcements for speeches, first dances, cake cutting, etc. And if it wasn't for my husband and I getting out on the dance floor and pulling others out there, I'm confident he wouldn't have been able to get anyone on the floor. He was bad. I am very disappointed with the service that Casey provided. Especially for the price. Do yourself a favor and book someone else for you DJ services. read more

Used Destination Events for our wedding at Eagle Rock and it was great! We worked with Casey and was very friendly/helpful as well as flexible in the delivery/setup of the tents, dance floor, and lights. The extra tall poles they setup were perfect so the bistro lights crossing over the dance floor cleared everybody's heads! All the rentals were clean and in good working order! The only recommendation would be for Destination to purchase sub floor boards that reach under the entire dance floor (the edges of the floor were weak with no support on the grass). Highly recommend them for any event and are more reasonably priced than other local competition for similar products!!! read more

it wasnt the best but it wasnt the worst i definatley feel i over paid. the customer service was wonderful but the quality of equitment is sad. we rented the kingdom of bouce for my toddlers bday it was floppy and wasnt safe for any kid to be in as it would deflait easily. we called casey who called his guy who came n said "yeah, sorry it just really old" explainging to us why it leaked abd had holes in it. why would you rent old decrepid equitment?? They were very understanding of me changing my venue location instead of setting up 20miles away they traveled the 42 to Oakridge for an additional 50$ charge mind you i had already prepayed over 230$. i got my 50$ back because we wernt satisfied, thats nice and eveything but it still doesnt help with what id already spent. my kids literally spent 20mins in the thing because it was far too dangerous then we went to the backyard and played in the pool. i will NEVER use this place again. i wouldnt be so nice but they had great customer service. unfoutunatly that doesny make up for the funds i lost trusting they'd have reliable stuff. so sad! read more
