Wedding planning, DJ services, coordinating vendors, and keeping nerves in check, Fallon did it all. She was communicative, easy to work with, and really seems to enjoy what she does. If you're having any kind of party and need help, give Fallon a call. She's got you covered!

As a planner I loved her planning tools, it seemed like it was so helpful to her but also made it easy for us! With COVID19 hitting this year we were one of the couples that had to postpone things, it was completely overwhelming trying to coordinate with so many wonderful vendors, the venue, the DJ, the photographer, etc., but Fallon was there for us every step along the way. And I mean every step, the back and forth on dates, the if not this then this, the confusion and frantic moments of still trying to lock in a 2020 date when all the fall and winter brides of 2020 had been able to pre-plan. She was there for us and was so completely supportive, so understanding, and she was able to keep our existing contract, just changing dates. I can't tell you enough how happy I am her have her on my team! I can't wait to celebrate this fall! If you're looking for a DJ, Fallon has your back!

We used David Stoltz for our July 2024 wedding for DJ services for our reception only and added on…read morethe Photo Booth service. We requested a meeting with them before booking services and had a phone call with David's wife. While we were on the call there were kids in the background screaming. Overall, their communication with us throughout the whole process before our wedding day was a little disorganized and unprofessional. The same occurred during the reception, a little disorganized, but music was playing the whole reception, he played the songs I requested, the sound system was good. The Photo Booth was self explanatory and the photos that were printed were great quality and there were unlimited prints.

We hired David (DJ Stoltz) after considering several DJ's in the region. We spoke to one of his…read morereferences, who recommended him. We compared him to others and found the pricing was very competitive. Our wedding was in August, but I think we decided on him in the Feb/March time frame. David was easy to work with. For us, Oregon was a destination wedding so most of our communications was done via e-mail and phone - including Skype. He was very flexible in terms of how we chose to engage. If you have an exact list of songs, he can execute on that. If you just sort of know that you'd like a bit of pop most people in their 30's would like, he can execute on that. We needed him to bring 2 sound systems, which he did. He also provided some simple lights for the dance floor and extra mikes for the Reverend and for a speech by the Best Man. Our wedding was in the Willamette Valley so he had to travel from Eugene. David showed up in plenty of time and was set up appropriately. He worked with our requests and added a lot of his own and it was a really great day. We have no hesitation recommending DJ Stoltz. Rahul & Kristen

Hiring The Party Team (TPT) was one of our biggest wedding-planning mistakes. Up front,…read morecommunication was solid: TPT met with us, collected a detailed questionnaire, and charged a premium rate--including an extra hour of play time--so we felt confident everything would run smoothly. Last-minute bait-and-switch Two weeks before the wedding, TPT reassigned us--without consultation--to a subcontractor we had already reviewed (and ruled out) while searching for DJs. This subcontractor charges roughly $500 less than what we paid TPT, yet no price adjustment or opt-out option was offered. Worse, TPT failed to forward the questionnaire we spent hours completing; I had to tell the subcontractor to request it. Execution failures on the day * Ceremony & reception music: Christian tracks were played at our non-denominational wedding until I physically changed the song on the DJ's unattended phone. * Audio levels: Microphones were unbalanced; several speeches were inaudible. * First-dance disaster: Despite sending our custom track twice and discussing it on calls, the DJ played the standard radio version. My wife's best friend--who spent hours recording the song--left the reception in tears. * Dance-floor management: The DJ let songs run to full length without fading, couldn't maintain energy, and had guests heading for the exits by 10:30 p.m., even though we paid through 11 p.m. She began packing up early. Post-event response When I raised these issues, TPT's owner dismissed them as "confusion," defended the subcontractor's professionalism, and fabricated claims that guests had requested her for future events--claims my family members deny. He ultimately offered only a one-hour refund for the early shutdown, ignoring the larger failures that undermined our wedding. Bottom line The Party Team over-promises, outsources at the last minute, and takes no real responsibility when things go wrong. If your event matters, hire a dedicated DJ directly--skip the middleman. I would never work with The Party Team again.

This left our guests cramming around the remaining tables. We, of course, didn't have to pay for the two unused tables, but no other compensation for our compromised party experience. Unfortunately I wouldn't count on them to fulfill their promise. If you do use them, be sure you have a plan B.
