At $160 per person, we got a private tour that included transportation (hotel pick-up / drop-off), four winery stops with all tasting fees covered, charcuterie boxes, and a catered lunch. Our driver Nicole was fantastic! She was fun, engaging, and made the whole day feel like we were touring with a friend. Getting our own private 18-passenger bus for just the three of us was the cherry on top! Jesse met us at our 3rd winery with lunch from Papapavlo's... it was so good, and the carbs were appreciated after two winery stops. Nicole had maps on the bus, and I was so excited to discover how many Lodi wineries are dog-friendly -- denoted by paw prints on the map legend. Now that I know Coche Vino will happily accommodate my doggo on the bus, I am one thousand percent scheduling another tour to bring him along! I would have appreciated a little more communication around the itinerary ahead of our tour. We were asked about our wine preferences, but we didn't receive any winery suggestions and our confirmed itinerary didn't arrive until 6pm the night before our tour. As a Type A planner, it would have done me well to collaborate a bit more on the perfect day together. That said, where they took us was spot-on (Lucas, Michael David, m2, and Heritage Oak) and now I have some baseline knowledge of the Lodi Appellation to proactively make suggestions for the next tour. We had such a nice time, and Coche Vino delivers something really special.

Responses to my inquiries were quick, polite, and professional from Paula at their office. We had several itinerary changes, which were graciously accommodated. Lucas, the driver, was punctual and got the teenagers safely to and from each stop. I drove separately to meet them at the first stop (photos at an obscure location) and I noticed Lucas drove that giant vehicle competently and followed all traffic laws. Bless him for calmly dealing with 18 rowdy teenagers, too. Parts of the outside of the bus could use a little perking up, but it was clean and very nice inside. Just like the photos posted. The stereo system was awesome, and the kids were able to connect their own music. They all said their time in the party bus was more fun than the prom itself, that they would have happily driven around in it most of the night. All in all, highly recommend!

Due to the number of guests the shuttle agreed to make two trips to transport everyone. It arrived on time at the end of the wedding, guests got on, it left for the bar, and then we waited. And waited. My husband finally called them after about an hour and they said they would be there in 15 minutes. We kept waiting. Finally my father went ahead to the bar where the afterparty would be, and on the way he ran into the shuttle which had broken down. He stopped to help, our DJ went over to give them a jump, and meanwhile everyone still waiting at the wedding had to scramble to find alternate transportation to the bar. By this point many people had left the after party due to the late arrival of the bride and groom, and it really ruined the mood the rest of the night. The shuttle did eventually return to bring us back to the hotel, where it only had to make one trip. After this terrible experience we emailed with the management, asking for a 50% refund as the shuttle only did half the job. They refused to refund that much and in the end we only got a $200 deposit back. I understand that things happen, but if they had only communicated honestly the situation may have been able to be fixed earlier with alternate transportation. It was really a down way to end our wedding. This company is not transparent and I warn everyone against hiring them.
