Both rentals also had pool access, the home a private, heated pool that we greatly enjoyed. In addition to the properties though, the staff was excellent! We had trouble finding the first location because our gps was down and customer service guided us over the phone to the property. We also had a complementary fresh sweet bread and bottled waters left for us during our second stay. I highly recommend a stay with Five Star Beach Properties - they make the booking process (over the phone or via their user friendly website) easy, the properties are one of a kind with state of the art amenities and great views, and the customer service is fantastic.

We booked our rentals in Feb and got an email at the end of April that they canceled our reservations. If we wanted something else we would have to pay 6000.00 more. I explained this trip was for our dad's 80th bday and flights have already been purchased and they did not care. We are stuck with no vacation and 20+ people who have paid for flights and when I asked to speak to a manager and a copy of my agreement I heard nothing. Please do not rent from this property. I guess this company really is all about ruining your vacation plans.

We have been staying at Destin Towers for about 10 years for vacation and its been so disappointing…read moreto see how unkept each unit is as well as the the building. We stayed here in June of 2024 and didn't notice this until our last day there, but when we would run the hot water in the kitchen a dirt like substance would come out of the water and we're hoping we didn't consume whatever that was. The very few pans that are available are peeling with teflon that goes into your food when cooking. Not sure how thorough the cleaning service is, but we found tons of dirt/dust small papers and hairbands under the master bed. The rug in the living room is ATROCIOUS! The bedding is absolutely disgusting and filthy. it felt like our unit was falling apart. We walked in and noticed the curtain rod was falling off the hook in the living room. The handle on the master closet door was on a shelf in the closet and it seems like nothing has been updated in this unit in all the years we've been staying here. Same old couches, nasty rugs and deteriorating kitchen pans. We sent this information to property management with no response. However we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and stayed again for Labor Day weekend 2024. We drive overnight to arrive by morning so we are on no sleep our first day here. This night we are getting ready to have dinner at the table and hear water spilling. In the hallways entry of our unit theres a huge leak Coming through the light fixture, vent, sprinkler. We reach out to the after hour "emergency " number they take forever to send someone. The smoke alarm then starts going off, our kids are hysterical and scared at this point. We ask if they can relocate us they said no other units available. There was no resolution as far as refunding us our money and finding us other accommodations. Not the slightest help even for clean up. So here we are first night of vacation on hands and knees cleaning water off the floor with bath towels as instructed by the emergency services representative since there is no mop or cleaning supplies! Absolutely unacceptable! And the cherry on top... no internet

They were very responsive and helped us with a virtual tour since we are out of town. They checked several properties for us until we found out our hidden gem. They know the area pretty well, also they know everything related to short term rentals, which was key for us. They also helped us after closing finding some contractors on the area that could help us with landscaping for our property and original wall paint from the builder. After multiple calls and discussions we where offer by Chloe to move the trip Two days out (never mention an additional cost at that point) they when we call again since the current unit we have is more expensive not they want $28 dollars more, when I told them we never wanted the more expensive unit they said sorry nothing we can't do to change units (you where the ones who changed it on the first place) The second rep was ANGELICA horrible and rude, she laughs at me when I express my u happiness about having to pay the extra money ... she was so rude.... this will be our last time using compass resorts. And please don't waste your money on the joke travel insurance they offer ..../

The rental company used to be 360 Blue. They were acquired by Natural Retreats, an acquisition not so good for consumers! For the first time ever, we needed to cancel our reservation. WARNING to anyone booking a rental - the non-refundable booking fee is outrageous and obscene. It's so bad, that I will look for other rental agencies in the future and carefully check their contracts. We are still 100+ days from the intended vacation, so charging big dollar cancellation fees seems ridiculous. Beware!!
