Our steel well (circa 1981) was on its last legs, and we knew the day would come when the whole thing would have to be replaced. But, thanks to Meehan Well Drilling of Sandwich, Mass., that day would not be today. Within an hour of our distress call, Sean and his apprentice, Marco, arrived. Sean confirmed that the clock was indeed ticking, and that our 25 year old well was nearing the point of failure, and that by today's standards, the warrantee on any newly installed pump would be be voided for any steel well. Fortunately, within half an hour they had isolated the problem (electrical, as it turned out) and our water was running again at full pressure. We are now making arrangements for a new (PVC) well, a new tank and anything else they recommend for as long as we occupy our 200 year old home in West Barnstable. With us, they will have a customer for life, and we will continue to have our own water supply, full independent of any municipal water authority. Thanks, Sean!

I was advised to have a tech come to my home and assess and it would be pumped if needed. After determining a pump was needed a second tech arrived later that day the system was pumped. I was charged an assessment fee in addition to the pumping. Because I was due for a routine pumping that should have just been scheduled thus avoiding the assessment fee. Buyer beware - ask what the cost will be before booking. Because of the lack of transparency in charges I do not recommend this company.

Now, I live in Plymouth, and there really aren't very reputable places in the area that I could go to. I called a couple places, and nobody had anyone available until later in the afternoon. If you've ever had a heating emergency in the dead of winter, I hope you can empathize what I had been feeling. I spoke with Kimberly, who, after talking with the field tech, called me back almost immediately and said that they would be able to make the trek up to Plymouth, where I live, from Sandwich. I...cannot even understand how great this was. She said there wouldn't be an ETA on when they could get up, but it would be soon. The tech showed up less then an hour later. Again, amazing service! Unfortunately, the news was bad, and my boiler was going to need to be replaced. There on site they were able to give me a quote, part information, and the work that would need to be done. The guy, Chris, went through everything with me and let me know exactly WHY it all happened, our options, and how long it might take to fix. Being the dead of winter, we kind of needed to do all of this...stat. So, an hour of descision making, we called them back and gave them the OK for doing the repairs. They got the new boiler in stock the SAME DAY, and told me they would be by in the morning to do the work. Turns out the owner of the company made a house call to do some prep work while I was out, and he was nothing but nice. The work was long and hard, but eventually was finished. They explained everything that came with the new boiler, how to operate it, the warrentee it came with, and that they are just a call away if needed, and I really can't see myself going anywhere else for any kind of heating repair. This business earned the Five Stars I'm giving them. Service, price, punctuality, customer service, and friendliness. Everything.

They mentioned I made a comment they did not like but I feel the real issue is they are too busy so they made up an excuse to drop me as a customer. I was also confused as they stated I did not have a service contract but my tech said they do not offer a service contract. In 5 years I never received any communication recommending a service contract. So lots of mixed signals and still no working furnace 3 weeks later.
