I never felt rushed and I loved that Dr. Rahmani was personal with me and told me he would do the same surgery on his children. I saw two other doctors before deciding on Rahmani. At both of those places I was taken to a room to discuss financing and It made me feel as though I was just another person with a wallet. Those offices felt like businesses rather than doctors offices. Dr. Rahmani's office was very calm and gave me a feeling of comfort, which is definitely important before surgery. The procedure was flawless and took about 6 minutes (3 per eye). I was treated very well by not only the doctor, but also his staff. I felt relaxed going into the surgery and as soon as It was over, I went from not being able to see 3 feet in front of my face to seeing the clock on the other side of the room. Recovery was exactly what the staff prepared me for. Nothing was sugar coated like at the other two office I went to for consultations. Since my surgery I have gone back to the office twice for follow ups and have one more scheduled. I 10/10 recommend going to see Dr. Rahmani if you are considering Lasik.

I wanted to have an eye care provider in the downriver area since I am often in the area. The…read morereviews for this practice were good and it's in Southgate so I gave it a try. I arrived early for my first visit because when I made my appointment on the phone, they told me they would email me the new patient information forms to fill out. They did not arrive. I ended up waiting an hour to see the eye care provider. When he first met me he seemed very concerned about medications i am on unrelated to my eyes. After my exam I was given trial contact lenses and told I would have to return to finalize their fit, etc. before ordering. I returned the next week to learn the daily lenses they fit me for are $98 per three months per eye. I also was surprised by a fee for the refraction procedure. Insurance apparently doesn't cover this; and they don't explicitly tell you that you can waive the procedure. It is however an option on the initial paperwork to opt out but they didn't bring that to my attention. I came back to be fitted for monthly lenses the next day. I was surprised they could get me back in. They seemed disappointed that I just wanted the contact lens prescription because my previous eye care provider office said they could take my remaining and now obsolete prescription lenses and exchange them for my new prescription. I drove back 30 miles to my previous eye care provider to avoid this practice.

The exams were informative and completely pleasant. I know everyone has had the high- pressure eye ware selection experience before, and this office was the exact opposite. We even received our lens prescriptions to take home with zero pushback. I HIGHLY recommend Mithoff Vision. P.S. we have VSP eye insurance and they take it no problem. I went to Susan Mithoff in Trenton for years, but was not happy - I had cataracts and couldn't see…read more According to her, they weren't bad enough, no doctor would remove them and kept prescribing stronger glasses. I felt like she was more interested in making money than my vision. So I called Castleman. Dr. Singh was awesome! She said some people have bad cataracts and can see, while other's have not so bad cataracts yet can't. I had dropless surgery to remove the cataracts and the difference was astounding! No more blurry vision. Dr. Singh recommended picking up some dollar store glasses for reading as the only thing I would need. Castleman Eye Center was professional, they answer all your questions, and is now my new eye care place.
