Devan from GCPH scoped out our situation and his proposal was the most detail oriented of the three. We decided to go with Garden City and are very glad we did. The job was a three day project. Both Mike and Shane were on time every day, kept us informed about the process, supplied us with space heaters for the first night without a furnace, and went the distance rounding up their plumber Aaron to get the hot water heater installed the first day. Mike made sure we understood the programmable thermostat before he left on Friday which was timely as the temps plummeted that night and into the weekend. We are very happy with Garden City and would recommend them to others who are investing in a heat pump. All staff were informative, friendly, and competent.

Friendly people, way overpriced plumbing service…read more This was work in a rental. A bathroom sink clogged with hair needed to be snaked. I ok'd $225 for the work, which seemed high to me, but I was in a bind. The work took 15 minutes. Then, the plumber told me the $95 dispatch fee would be added to that amount. I was stunned. For most companies, the dispatch fee becomes part of the service cost if you go ahead and choose to have the work done. $320 for 15 minutes onsite? The property was only about 15 minutes away from Garden City's headquarters! Oh, well, the plumber applied a coupon that dropped the bill by $25. So $295 for a 15-minute job snaking a sink. I've regularly used Garden City, but I won't use them again. UPDATE: Garden City replied to my Google review and invited me to talk. I sent an email to the company saying I'd be glad to receive their phone call, noting that they have my number on file. Probably I put it in the email, too. I can't recall because that was more than six months ago. No one has called. I think that lack of contact speaks to the sincerity of the reply posted to that review.

I'd highly recommend them. Not only was Mark's bid for extending the gas line to a new range very…read morecompetitive, it also allowed for a maximum cap on the number of hours he'd bill for the job, while he'd bill less if they could get it done faster. Don, who did the job, was amazing to behold at hard work: Not only did he pour himself into getting the job (plus another side job I had) done much faster than budgeted for just the main job, he was a total perfectionist throughout. In the process, he discovered two slight leaks elsewhere in the old hard pipe gas lines, so he disassembled everything, swapped out the bad parts, and got it all together again still under time budget. And then it held high pressure perfectly. If you can get Don working on your gas pipes, you'll be in very good hands. And Mark was more than fair in billing with the extras. What more can you ask for? I'd call on them again in a heartbeat, and will be recommending them to anyone needing heating/cooling work done. They rock!

In January 2019, we had a catastrophic failure of our Lennox Complete Heat system which had…read moreprovided both heat and hot water to our home. The failure occurred on a Sunday morning (of course!) Flooding the basement, we first called a restoration company (Dayspring - terrific) and then called Jason Gardner of All Pro, who we had talked to about eventually coming out and replacing the system. Jason rearranged his other work to accommodate us and arrived the next day to communicate with the remediation people who were still there checking on their work. He and his assistant, John, were able to tear out the old equipment and install a new on-demand hot water system in a couple days. We chose to have a heat pump to replace the heat portion of the failed system after Jason explained the pros and cons of different systems. Key parts of the new system had to be shipped from Georgia. Unfortunately, this was during the extreme cold spell in the east and shipping was delayed (but we used our fireplace during this pause.) Jason was in continuous communication with us, giving us updates and working crazy long hours to finish the installation. We are pleased with the new systems and particularly, Jason's attention to detail and the quality of his work. The Nest is a little overwhelming at first but now that we have some knowledge of it's process, all good! Would highly recommend All Pro!

I politely declined because I already hired a reputable company to repair the problem. You hire Jason and your hiring yourself and unreliable headache!

He just helped with a long-term hidden leak in the basement of the rental, which required Dayspring's services as well because there was mold mitigation involved. He did his plumbing part efficiently and well. In my extensive experience with him - he takes every customer seriously, answers calls quickly, diagnoses problems, has or gets the parts, and fixes things FAST. He's also a fun person to talk with - always upbeat about life and solving problems. Highly recommended! Doug After I wrote the above review about my own experience, I looked at some of the other reviews. I have to say that a few of them are really negative - and completely at odds with my long time experience with Bill. I've never had anything other than a positive experience with him, and every job he's done has been excellent. He is extremely competent and knowledgeable. Doug

Bill came up a few weeks ago to repair a leaky hose on a faucet…read more I believe charges a Service call fee of $190 just to have him come out and say that he couldn't work on our sink because it wasn't the right brand!? Bill will tell you he cannot work on sinks/faucets that are sold at Home Depot or Lowe's. That's all well and fine I guess but you'll likely have to pay one of the higher service call fees charged in missoula just to find this out! He left us with two choices, told us he could replace the hose if we ordered it (plus $190 for a second service call from Bill) or BUY a whole new faucet fixture from a brand that he would work on AND pay for another $190 for a service call. Honestly if he and his staff would have asked us some basic questions over the phone we could have ordered the part and installed it in one call. Before leaving this review I called and asked to speak with bill to see if he could come out to install the new hose (big mistake) and to offer him some customer feedback and a chance to resolve this problem. He called my phone and preceded to interrupt me as I was explaining my concerns and went off on a profanity laden rampage telling me to: "Come find him if you don't like his services" and to "go fix the f***king thing yourself" and then threatened me with harassment if I continued to contact him or his company, wow. Bill's a really rude/tough guy on the phone apparently, and if you read other reviews this isn't an isolated incident! Bill might have the worst customer service and staff that I have experienced in years. Do yourselves a favor and call someone (anyone) else! Bill doesn't need your hard earned money, choose one of the other myriad of options for plumbing and heating services in Missoula.
