Value, solid Indian food…read more Prices start from $7 for mains, and everything (that I've had so far) comes with a very generous helping of rice for each dish. Decent sauces, with flavours that will satisfy those odd Indian-food-hankerings when they strike (or does nobody else have those? Ah well). As so often happens, the "mixed vegetable" dishes are made with that value frozen peas-carrots-corn mix, but the price reflects that, so no qualms here. Takeout is about a 10-15 minute wait during dinner. No minds blown, but a solid choice regardless. Might be back if seeking quick takeout or buffet.

The spice level was higher than what "mild" is typically but I loved it and so did our kids. We just needed more water to tone down the heat. Great food - with slow service but it is worth the wait.

We also got the dal tadka because we love lentils and it did not disappoint! Our favour dish was the lamb curry. It had so much flavour, the lamb was very tender, and it was the spiciest of all three dishes. We'll definitely be ordering that lamb curry again!

I created an order that sampled many of the dishes and they were all fantastic examples of traditional dishes. I particularly enjoyed the extra hint of spice each dish carried with it. Spices that, as a white Canadian, I'm not familiar with. The spices really gave me pause and I found myself smiling and saying out loud "what is that?" And that should be one of the results of great cuisine from traditions other than your own. The dishes that I found most enjoyable were the mutter paneer, the butter chicken and the very spicy pepper beef.
