My Dr. contacts SMIL and says they will call you to schedule. What you get is a robo call and tells you to call a scheduling number you get to wait 20 min or more hearing how much they appreciate your patience, they try to force you to schedule online. They need to hire more human beings as we as patients are humans!! This is horrible customer service. The scheduling people are great. It is the management team that made the decision to use this idiot AI that is impersonal and repeats the same exact words over ad over. I spent over 50 min on hold listening to the same lies over and over.

Worst experience!! Made an appointment for a breast ultrasound. I got a text messages with what the…read moreprice would be and in that text message it explains how it's an estimate. Get to my appointment and I only had to pay a little over $27. I thought awesome. Get a bill a month later wanting $ 546 and saying their not in network. I called and talk to 3 people including the director. Saying they can't believe this happened. The front desk should have caught that we don't take your insurance. I even checked and went to the website and on there they take it. Thought I did my job. Then the director tells me she's going to go over everything and send you a bill with the out of pocket pricing. Its been now 6 months and I just got a bill from a collection company for the Solis bill. This collection bill doesn't even have minus the money I paid that day. I just got off the phone with billing saying they are going to retract the bill in collections and minus the money and resend it in collections. Not send me the bill from them minus the money. Now I go to Smil and they make you feel so comfortable and safe there. They have compassion for there customers and don't rush you out the door. Whatever you do.. DO NOT GO TO SOLIS!!

If I could leave a negative star, I would leave a -5! This is the worst place and medical company…read morewe've ever dealt with. If you have the option - please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! The only reason we came here is because the doctor's office chose it. We had everything filled out prior to the appointment and my husband was called back on time BUT it went seriously downhill from there. He is a big man and the tech literally had him squeezed in so tight into the MRI machine then left the room when he became agitated and claustrophobic. He's had a couple before and NEVER had this kind of reaction or been treated this badly by the supposedly trained staff! He had to literally YELL and kick his feet and she said "you have to be in there for 15 minutes so you need to calm down" which just pissed him off even more! There was ZERO compassion! Isn't that why someone goes into the medical field? Unfortunately, he was so upset and traumatized that he didn't get her name. When she finally pulled him out, he needed help to get off the table due to the back injury which was the reason for the MRI in the first place, and she couldn't be bothered and just told him to use the railing on the side. This is the second attempt at getting the MRI because the corporate side of this company completely dropped the ball with getting the insurance authorization completed (their fault, not the insurance company's) so when he went in for the first time at another of their locations (the one at 4045 E Bell), the useless receptionist just said that since they didn't have the auth we could do self-pay! I have no idea how much that would have been but no, the auth was sent. They were incompetent and her attitude was terrible. No way could she have cared any less. So we had to reschedule at this Paradise Valley location. Shockingly, they were able to get the Xrays completed. There were at least 4 other patients while I waited for him who were complaining that they had been waiting for well over an hour for their appointments and again, the attitude from the staff was pathetic. Instead of realizing my husband could not fit into their machine and showing some compassion for the claustrophobic reaction, he got bad and pissy attitudes. Well, to say the least he doesn't take that kind of treatment well AT ALL. Now, we have to try a THIRD location out in Scottsdale in a week because they have an "open" MRI which apparently is a larger machine for people like him. This backs off the further treatment plan with the spinal doctor and delays any further medical help he may require. Thanks a lot, Simon Med (extreme sarcasm). You will NOT want to hear from me if the Scottsdale location is as bad as the other two we've tried to work with. Dana S.

This past Saturday, I had an appointment to have both of my knees and both of my shoulders MRI'd…read more My appointment was at 11:20am. All of this leads up to several complaints. If you want someone to show up 30 min early, then make the appointment 30 min earlier. Fix your scheduling department. However, I had filled out all the paperwork online, like a good little patient, then there's no reason to show up 30 minutes early. I don't need 30 minutes to put on a gown. Next Carla the technician should be fired immediately! She stated that since I did not show up 30 minutes early that she didn't have the time to do all four MRI's. I showed up on time for my scheduled appointment. Then they kept me in the waiting room for 20 minutes. Then another 10 minutes to change and wait in the changing area to be told I was late and they didn't have the time to do all my scheduled MRI's. It sounds like Carla has a time management problem, not me. Why didn't you get me back there as soon as I walked in and not keep me waiting for 30 minutes. Carla has to be one of the rudest and egotistical technicians I've ever met. I was on time, you don't know how to manage your time. So now, if I expect to get the MRI on my left shoulder, which she refused to do, I will have to pay another copay of $100 just for that and make another appointment somewhere because I will never go anywhere where she is working. SMIL and Honor Health needs to do better. Remember that your main concern are your patients and not your employees attitudes.

But what's the point, if you're already here you might as well wait rather than come back and wait a different hour. Why not just set aside a block or two for X-rays only during the day. The front desk staff will have loud private conversations while you're standing at the desk waiting for them to process your check-in. When did it become acceptable to carry on what should be private conversations while customers are waiting and forced to listen (no boundaries anymore for manners) to such silly conversations. Employees use to wait to have private conversations. I don't want to listen to people on their cell phones much less than "school girl" employee conversations.

I was given 4 bags of fluids and a shot for my queasiness. Wendy and Michelle were so AWESOME!! They treated me like I was their only patient. They were genuinely concerned.
