I've driven to this location three times and all three times there has been a little note on the door that says they are closed for the day. I came back the following day when it stated they would be open to just find a different note that says they were closed that day as well. Wish they could figure out how to use the Internet and update their hours or the close status of their store online so I didn't have to waste my time driving there. Or better yet just hire some people so you could keep your store open. read more

Sweet little tack shop with Breyer horse toys! We were visiting my Dad and enjoyed visiting this shop. Very nice saddles, and most horse things you might need! I ended up buying a belt for my daughter, a Breyer advent calendar and some Breyer figurines. The owner is a sweet and funny older man whom I enjoyed chatting with! They have the worst service. This store is so cramped. One lady was in there before us trying on a saddle and 5 people were helping her. They said once she's helped that would help us. How many people does it take to help one person? Then, when it was our turn only "1" of them helped us and she was so rude. I was helping get a saddle down and she yelled at me?! Im surprised because I could've whipped her ass. I'm a grown ass woman and a customer. She was so rude that she made my 14 year old sister so uncomfortable she started crying. I would never recommend this place ever. Nice saddles but not worth all the rudeness and cramped space. read more

I really want to like this store because it has so many great options and it's conveniently close to my house, but I always have had bad experiences because the shop owner always makes me feel very uncomfortable and makes SO MANY derogatory & inappropriate comments. This is a small family run shop with lots of heart. We have never been steered wrong in our needs and Tom has gone above and beyond to help us time and time again with the fit and function of my daughters spurs and saddles. I special ordered a saddle from circle y through Desert Saddlery. Not only did Tom come out to personally fit my horse before it was ordered he made sure that it was the perfect saddle for me and and my horse . There was a discrepancy in the pricing from circle y ( anyone that knows, these are expensive and quality saddles) and he honored the price that he quoted me. Not too many companies have that integrity. His stitching is as strong as it comes! I've never had anything he repairs break again. He has saved our gear tons of times. Their product selection covers all of your first-aid, basic medical, grooming, and tack (Western and English) needs (and like many local businesses, yes, there is a bit more western tack in stock). Pricing changes depending on what you're shopping for, however if you end up finding something with a higher price tag, you know it's worth the money they are asking for because it is almost guaranteed to be made in the USA and made with quality in mind! They don't do credit on purchases under $5, but it's a store loaded with everything, so chances are you probably won't walk away with something less than that!
