Besides, a pic wouldn't do justice to the rich layers of piping hot, tender pasta sheets, slathered in hearty meat sauce and creamy béchamel and ricotta. If this is Italian comfort food, I'm all in with the way Mario's crew put this master piece on a plate. This also goes for the caprese, Cacio e pepe, margherita romana, along with the deserts like the tiramisu' de treviso, cherry cannoli siciliani, and even the bread basket is over the top. Again, apologies for the lack of photos, I will say that the visual appeal of each dish matched the flavors, so the food vanished before the thought of a photo op crossed my mind, and I savored every bite--errr, sorry about again. But if I had to make a statement describing the whole dining experience: "the gods smiled". There are various items for sale by other local vendors- goat soap bars, honey, etc. The organic coffee is imported from Mexico. The prices are rather steep, especially for Yuma. A small 16oz latte starts at $6.50. If you're a black coffee/cold brew drinker, then prices are reasonable. If you're like me and you prefer some milk/flavor, then add $1 for oat milk. Another .50 for flavored syrup= $8.50 for a 16oz spiced iced brown sugar latte. It was a good latte, but $8.50 is too much and I can see that being hard to justify for most folks.
