Found this gem of a nail salon on yelp and it definitely lives up to its great reviews! Super friendly staff and wonderful service. I definitely will be back! read more

Wonderful nail salon on El Paseo. I have been coming here exclusively for a year now, I used to jump around and try different places on a whim. But I have been really happy with the consistency of quality and service here. My first time I tried Gel X "soft gel" nails because I wanted length and then have transitioned to hard builder gel manicures on my natural nail and gel pedicures for the rest. My nails have been able to grow to a nice length naturally. I've never had a chip! Fun colors and they do nail art. They also offer complimentary drinks and snacks, always a bonus! Katina and her staff are friendly and good about fitting me and my mom's appointments in together. You can also bring your lapdog along! read more

Got a gel mani with art, so happy with the result. The manicurist was so gentle with my hands and also very kind which I really appreciated. The nail art was so good too!! Made the stop as a last minute addition to my stagecoach pampering, well worth it. read more

I guess I should start out by saying this has been my forever nail place for years now. The service has been flawless in my nails have never looked so amazing. None of that chemical smell inside of this salon. I've had gel, dip, and now gel-x! All are amazing and have their own pros and cons. But I have to say this gel X stuff is pretty incredible. My manicures last almost a month before they grow out and I need a new set. Autumn always does such a great job on my nails and is a pleasure to talk to about whatever is going on. The entire staff is friendly and very easy to talk to and explain what type of service you are looking for. Lots of bright light and beautiful chandeliers to look at while you get your nails done! Family owned, and run business! What more can you ask for? This is my number one spot and I always recommend this place when people from out of town are looking for nails. Call ahead to make sure you get in right away although they also take walk-ins. read more

Hands down (no pun intended!) BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever had. After moving here a few years ago, it's been difficult to find a place that checks all the boxes...until now. It's clean, everyone is friendly, I love that the chairs aren't all facing one another and such an excellent selection of products and services. I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Jenny and she is exceptional. My nails and feet have never looked so beautiful and soft. My Mom also had amazing gel Mani and pedicure with Angel and Katina. All I can say is when a place gets it right, you can immediately see and feel the difference. So happy I found them! read more

I have been going to nail salons for 35 years and being new to the area in 2023, I had to find a new salon and went to a handful of unsatisfactory nail salons before finding desert nails. I have never been anywhere else since. My nails have never looked nicer. They are friendly and clean. They take good care of their customers. They have incredible talent to achieve any design requests. I strongly recommend giving this salon a try! read more

I did a walk-in on a busy Friday afternoon and they got me in immediately for a mani/pedi. I have tried a few salons since moving from Los Angeles and haven't really found my place. Happy to say, this is it! It is not fanciest place, but they do excellent work. The owner runs a tight ship and is an expert. For being on El Paseo the prices are reasonable. I have been going to the Spa at Sec-he in Palm Springs. Their facilities (chairs/vibe) are best in class, but my nails don't last more than a few days. The staff took excellent care of me and I walked out feeling great about the experience. Thank you! See you in a few weeks. read more

Desert Nails continues to be my favorite nail place for almost two years. They are so accommodating, clean, and professional. Katina and Autumn have both been so helpful with my nails. I'm just a total fan of this seemingly wonderful family business. read more

Once again! Another wonderful experience and service here! Got my nails done this time! Perfect red with some Gel X Nail Extensions (thanks to my single broken nail they were kind enough to offer this solution.) Clean location and very careful Nail Techs. I also got my dad his mani pedi as tradition. He said he can't go anywhere else because no one does it as good as here! 10/10 would recommend every time someone asks where to go! read more

Desert Nails & Spa - New nails new meee after a weeks work - Nail Salons Near Me - Palm Desert, California

I only get a pedicure once a year as a treat. I usually do them myself because I'm not satisfied with the quality and when I do them myself the polish lasts for a few weeks. So I always try to find somewhere that gets great reviews as this place has. But I wouldn't go back. Had classic pedicure. Minor work was done on my cuticles and dry skin is still around my nails. I'll soak my feet and clean them up tomorrow. The polish is not even near my cuticles and will probably look grown out within a week. read more

It was my first time at Desert Nail Spa and it is located in an upscale shopping area. There's plenty of street parking. The interior is bright and clean. It was a very hot day when I went, but the AC felt cool and crisp. All of the staff members are friendly and kind. I came in with a design picture in mind and it was no hassle to them! I had Angel clean up my cuticles and prep my nails. She was very diligent with taking care of them since I had gel x nails done previously. Katina is an artist! She helped me pick out the perfect sized gel x extension for my nails. I picked almond shape with ombré pink, silver cat eye for the tip and a stone for each nail. The nails matched the inspo photo 1 to 1! Katina took the time to tell me how to care for my nails. She is so detailed with making sure the nail extensions are straight and flat on my nails to prevent curling. I also had a color/design in mind for my pedicure and Katina delivered! Angel helped me with my cuticles and prepping my toes. They were very careful with removing the old gel polish on my toenails. I went with a metallic mauve and asked for swirls for that marble effect. I felt like a princess here because they take the time to take care of you and listen to your needs. I will definitely come back soon! I highly recommend this place for anyone if you want a relaxing spa day or intricately unique nail designs read more

I loved my nails. They did an awesome job. Would come back. Loved the ambience here. Can't wait to come back!

I don't really get all the reviews on here I think my experience was wayyyy different. I won't be coming back here ever. They must be nice to their repeat customers or somthing becuase this sucked. I had to wait 20 min to get sat in a chair. They did my nails first then my pedi which took extra long. Prices are on the high side too. For reference here are my nails that cost 95$ and my pedi that costs 58$. The pedi aside from ur feet being in water a 1 min scrub w the regular foot bar and 1.5 min massage totalleg just the leg not the foot or the heel. And wow almond short gel nails w chrome is 95$. I've been to many nail salons and this was not my best experience. I give 1 star for vibe/deco r and 1 star for the quality of my nails. read more

I am on vacation here in Palm Desert, and decided that my pedicure needed a refresh, so I tried Desert Nails because it had good ratings and was close to where we were staying. I am also familiar with the area. I was just a walk-in, and they were busy, but had me with my feet in warm water in no time- they were super accommodating. I never asked my technician's name, but I think it was the owner, since she answered the phone. She did such a great job- I wanted pink with chrome and it looks amazing! Desert Nails & Spa - Natural mani pedi look. Fantastic! - Nail Salons Near Me - Palm Desert, California

Went today as a walk in to get a pedicure. The girl was nice. The regular base pedicure was $35. No real massage. They use a nail file to 'buff' your feet. Also realized once I got home they did not put a top coat of polish! Kinda bummed. Thought this would be my new spot. UPDATE Requested by salon. I did indeed go back once I had a moment. I was shocked at how different the process was this time around when they repainted my nails. When I arrived I mentioned that I didn't get a top coat. They said they used a different top coat the first time that go well with glitter nail polish. (Why did they initially put that one on me if they knew that particular top coat polish didn't work with glitter polish?) They put an additional coat of nail polish this time around and a different top coat. There was a huge difference in the polish, it even looked darker and actually had a top coat shine/smoothness. Another thing that was different this time around that they didn't do initially was they even sprayed my polish! Wish all this happened the first time around. Glad I went back to get the polish fixed. read more

This is my husband's and my second time at Desert Nails & Spa. Our services were good! Everyone is very friendly! The first time, the salon was very clean. My husband had been dealing with an ingrown toenail. He had even been to a podiatrist. I believe it was Kat who fixed the ingrown toenail. He was so happy and was beyond impressed! This visit the salon was less than clean. The floor and tables were dirt. I am concerned about their cleaning practices. Especially, when this is their slow time and should have plenty of time to clean. I am writing this as a constructive review in hopes that they will make the necessary changes because I would like to go back. If my review was on the mani/pedi alone, I would give Jen (I think that is her name) 4.5 stars out of 5. read more

I'll never go back. They did a great job but I gave them a gift card and they told my husband who bought the gift card that it was $60 for gel pedicure and I chose the organic spa pedicure and it was $65. I gave her the gift card and then she comes back and tells me it's 15 additional dollars for gel. That's ridiculous and they ripped me off. They only did that because I gave them the gift card. So no I'll never go back. read more
