I can't believe that I have never reviewed Heartland Town Centre. I've been visiting for years…read more Weird! Heartland Town Centre is your Mississauga mecca for shopping at box stores. Because it covers such a vast area, it's best to figure out which stores you'd like to visit and drive over to them. The stores range from outlets to regular retail. You also have eateries and professional services mixed in for good measure. My go-to stores tend to be Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Gap Outlet, and Krispy Kreme. The first two are next door from each other, so it's a two-for-one shopping extravaganza for me. I have found some nice merchandise at good prices at both stores. I love this Gap Outlet, as I have scored some nice discounts on jackets and clothing. I don't consume donuts often, but I love Krispy Kreme to the point where I've been known to do a donut run before heading back to the office. It takes me fifteen minutes to get here from my workplace. It's deadly and cool. Besides the stores that I have just mentioned, here's a running list of stores at Heartland that I have visited so far: - Bath & Body Works - Best Buy - Loblaws - Marshalls - Old Navy - Roots - Seafood City Supermarket Here are eateries that I have stuffed my face at: - Grill City - Heart Sushi - Jollibee - Tandoori Flame There are so many stores and eateries. I haven't visited them all yet. It'll take a while! Here are some stores and eateries that I'd like to visit: - Beanwise - Bergham - California Sandwiches - Copper Branch - Crocs - Mr Puffs - The Chopped Leaf I've never had any issues parking. I've dropped by on countless Saturdays and Sundays. It can get crazy, but I always find parking. It's cool shopping here. I feel the need to get some retail therapy now! (212)

I recently stayed in Vaughan for one night, close to the Brampton border. I was looking for a place…read moreto buy bubble tea for lunch the following day and found out that there's a bubble tea place at Westwood Square. I ventured out to this mall. I know this mall as Westwood Mall. When I worked at the old location of my current employer, I'd often drive up Goreway Drive to head home, and dropped by this mall now and again. It has been a good decade since I was last in this mall and it has changed. It used to be anchored by a Walmart. It was gone, which saddened me. It was a decent store that served this neighbourhood well. These days, you have Shoppers Drug Mart and Fresh Co. anchoring this mall. I do like the latter. The produce is fresh and it's a clean store that always has everything that I need. Although it looks nicer inside, it's a weird assortment of stores. I recognized the Scotiabank and that was it. Most are local. You get everything from luggage to cell phone accessories. The food court is on the second floor. It was where my bubble tea place is, but I never got that far. I ultimately got my beverages from Westwood Convenience on the main floor. Several people have mentioned that this mall has a sketchy vibe to it. I'd have to agree. The woman in front of me at the convenience store seemed incredibly out of it. She was looking for wrappers for her smokes. I couldn't tell whether she was in the lineup to pay. Frankly, I didn't think she knew, either! I'd return for Fresh Co. You can shop at this supermarket without going into the mall itself, which is what I like. Other than that, it serves the local community. However, it's such a shame that the Walmart is gone and folks need to drive further to find another one. (257)

I have been to Bramalea City Centre (BCC) twice within a week. This mall is growing on me. I came here twice for Glam Bar Bazaar that does permanent jewellery. I first discovered it when I was in Winnipeg a couple of summers ago. I was pleased to get an evil eye bracelet recently, but had to return because this permanent bracelet fell off my wrist and required re-attaching. I do like this mall because it has shops and eateries that I love: - Gap Factory Store - Jollibee - Uniqlo - Pickle Barrel - CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice I don't frequent malls regularly. I am more an outlet shopper. What's cool about BCC is that it has a Gap Factory Store. I visited it twice. I scored decent deals, including a Minnie Mouse tote that was 60% off. I also got a comfy pair of pants that were 30% off. I love Jollibee. I've only ordered the pineapple quencher and peach mango pie at this eatery by mall entrance 1. It's because I have dined here twice and stopped by Jollibee before driving home. My first dining experience at this mall was at California Thai at the north food court. There's a McDonald's next door. California Thai has a lot of chicken options. Portions are generous. My combo was yummy. There's also a CoCo bubble tea place at the north food court. It was low on strawberries and other ingredients when I was there. The south food court is larger. It has Edo Japan, Burger King, Shanghai 360, and more. I look forward to eating here one of these days. I did use the washroom that was at the south food court. A downside to this mall is that there aren't a whole lot of public washrooms that are advertised and it's a fairly large mall. The women's washroom at this food court was clean. The north food court doesn't have washrooms. However, Gap Factory Store has washrooms by the change rooms and is your closest washroom. I recently ate at Pickle Barrel. It was huge and a nice change of pace. I was here for happy hour. Take advantage of the various happy hour deals. You do save a bit. The food and drinks were yummy. Both times, I parked by mall entrance 1. I was here after work and didn't have any issues finding parking. It was great. I do find the touch-screen mall directory to be confusing. I used the directory online to figure out where to go instead. It would be helpful if you got a marker that said that you're here on this directory for new mall visitors like me. I like this mall. It's easy to visit from my workplace. I'll be back again soon. (173)

I'm a regular at Marshall's. 1890 Major Mackenzie Drive, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada . I've been…read morecoming here since they opened up this location. It's close to my house, small enough that I can navigate it quickly. I'm elderly. The store is fairly well stocked, except for housewares and women's plus sizes. It's clean, staff are friendly, great selection, fair pricing. I have never had a complaint until October 3, 2025. After waiting in line a while, I was served by ELLEN . We didn't get off to a great start. I handed her my winners bag to put my purchases in. She told me to bag it myself! I always help, just not when I'm ordered to. My total was about $215. I gave her cash, $220. In 11. $20bills. She counted it 3 times. I finally told her she needed basic math skills. No yelling, no swearing. She got all defensive and mouthed something rude. She then became overwhelmed and went to count it for the 4th time! . Finally a lady came over, told her to relax, breathe, and finished off the sale for ELEN. Ellen was a teenager, caucasion, long brown hair. I'd really like to know who thought this girl would be an asset and a good fit working a register and dealing with customers. I don't believe she had any training whatsoever. I was not impressed at all ( she had a small brain and a big mouth). October 5th, I was shopping again. ELEN was working cash. When it was my turn, I got Ellen. I don't think so, no way! I told the person behind me to go first. As I was being rung through by another cashier, a very nice one, I guess Ellen was finished her shift. She thought it would be cool to interrupt the sale, give the cashier a huge, fake hug, and discuss her work schedule. I was not impressed. It is then that I decided to write a review. I realized we all have to start somewhere, but why stick someone on cash that can't count? We are not a cashless society yet. Many teenagers would love to have a job in this economy, for extra spending money. This girl doesn't deserve this job. I think she should be retrained in cash and social skills, how to talk to a customer, especially elderly customers who grew up with manners. Maybe the stockroom or a factory is more up her ally. . Marshall's should be more careful who they hire to represent their store. If this is who they chose, I would hate to see who they rejected!!

We found brands like Moschino, Theory, Rebecca Minkoff, DKNY, Herschel, Lazypants. Most items we picked up range from $15 to $30 which is a really good price!

My most recent experience was last Saturday at Rexall. My visits were great. The best aspect of this mall is that you don't necessarily have to walk the entire mall to get to every store. During this pandemic, I have avoided going to malls because I simply didn't feel comfortable being in a vast indoor area with people. Instead, I like visiting the stores that I need and don't get me into a full-blown mall environment. These businesses have separate entrances that you can bypass the mall ones: - JYSK - Staples - Giant Tiger - GoodLife Fitness - Canadian Tire - Bad Boy - Bulk Barn - Spoonful - Kitchen Stuff Plus - Oceans Fresh Food Market - Medix - Winners This mall has pretty much everything that you want in a mall. Dental and medical services. Nail salons. Women's, men's, and children's clothing. And more! I like that there's a Fabricland next to Kitchen Stuff Plus. To me, it's highly appealing. The food court has your typical chains, such as A&W and Bourbon St. Grill, and a few local eateries that I have never heard of. Coo! I was pleasantly surprised that there's a huge Ocean's Fresh Food Market. I'll need to visit this grocery store sometime. I'm working my way through everything slowly. The Brampton Gateway Terminal is in front of the Giant Tiger and Staples stores. The setup reminds me of Polo Park in Winnipeg. Buses drop you right in front of the entrance, and you shop until you drop before boarding a bus to carry your weary body home. I was pleasantly surprised at how better this mall looks these days. It used to be so dumpy that shopping here wasn't even on my radar. Not anymore! (340)
