So happy with my lash lift! It was my first time so I didn't know what to expect, but Leah talked me through each step and answered all of my questions. Saying that I didn't feel like I needed to keep talking. I felt very comfortable having conversation and laying there in silence :) The location was great! She has a car park reserved for clients and there was also street parking. Finding it was super easy too. The procedure itself was interesting-mostly the little sensations from the gluing and brushing of the eyelashes! But not bad AT ALL and PAINLESS. Overall, I had a great experience! Initially I was going to go to Leah for her "Head and Scalp Massage" service. I told her that I was looking for some major decompression and she suggested that I do the hour long facial instead. It was my first facial and I was pleasantly surprised at how relaxing and therapeutic it was. My skin felt and looked great for days after and I left her studio feeling refreshed and relaxed. Leah is terrific. I have been a client of hers for almost two years now, and won't see anyone else. She uses a super gentle wax for the most painless removal possible and is SO attentive to every single little hair. She's very sweet and chats with you the whole time - totally feels like a social visit! She is extremely hygienic (no double dipping, tools went into sterilization as soon as she was done, fresh everything on the table) and very professional. BROWS She'll start by going over your shape with you and will point out the specific areas she's going to remove the hair from. She'll go on to wax, trim, and tweeze every single hair until your brows are arched to perfection. She'll show you your shape while you are still laying down, make sure you like it, and make any adjustments you request. BIKINI/BRAZILIAN First-timers fear not! If you tell her you are nervous, she will baby you through it (yes, your first one and any other ones if you're having a particularly sensitive day). Leah is amazing! I am SOOO picky about my eyebrows since I get them tinted as well as waxed, and I went to at least 4 different people when I first moved here a couple years ago before finding her. I have her do my brow maintenance, brow tint, and lash tint every 1.5 months, and it is so worth it. I require an aesthetician who is a perfectionist and she is just that!! Her prices are very reasonable which is also a huge component for me, yet quality is just as good as a very expensive salon. I get compliments on my brows ALL the time...even from dudes. I had a glycolic peel done with Leah and it was amazing. My skin felt really fresh/rejuvenating and glowing the next day. It wasn't a harsh peel so my skin didn't peel after that but it was perfect for my skin type. Leah uses organic line called Hylunia ( it was my first time using this line - i used Astara before) and i was very pleased with the results!!!! Extractions were painless after the peel which made my experience even better and all the wonderful hand/ neck/shoulder massage while the mask is on made me feel totally relaxed!!!! Leah has been the only person i let Brazilian wax me since i met her in 2009 and for the last two years she has been sugaring my Brazilian and i am hooked! I have followed her from her last two places she worked at, She is an expert in the sugaring technique. I love sugaring way better than hard wax now. There is no heat involved, the sugar paste is all natural and organic (no chemicals) and it does not stick to your skin, only the hair. It hurts way less than waxing, also, there are no sticks or paper strips involved so it is also more eco friendly. Also, best part is i find that the hair takes longer to grow back than with waxing and it grows back very light and sparse. it is totally worth the extra cost because the product is better for your skin, it isn't hot, hurts less, the results last longer and its better for the environment!
