I even went out of my way to message them and let them know that I was booking for 2 slots at the same time - they confirmed and said they were able to accommodate both of us (screen shot attached). I only received a reminder/confirmation of my appointments the day before my actual appointment - text messages and emails (screen shot attached). Then I receive a text message from an unknown # claiming to be from the spa assuming I cancelled the appointment?? In which I responded right away to let them know I did NOT cancel and that we are still set to go to our appointments the next day. I kept texting for confirmation until I finally received a response 2.5 hours (at almost 9pm!!) later saying they are actually cancelling my appointments and that they are "sorry." (Screen shot attached). No rescheduling efforts, no NOTHING. So here I am, calling my best friend at 9pm the night before we were supposed to go to this appointment I scheduled well in advanced to let her know the birthday plans I had were now cancelled. It's truly unfortunate that I have to give a 1-star review because I'm assuming this is a small business and they really rely on reviews, but this isn't how you conduct business. For them to first make the assumption and insinuate that I wasn't showing up to my appointment and that I had cancelled? To then not responding in a timely manner just to let me know hours later they are actually the one cancelling on me? I feel like they knew they wanted to cancel on me and instead of just owning that upfront, they tried to gaslight me into thinking I needed to cancel.
