At the time they offered a package that included a couple of facial sessions, and it was a really good experience. Every mole they removed healed beautifully with no scarring. Unfortunately, my skin develops new moles with sun exposure, so over the years I've gotten more. I'm back now to have 8-10 or more small spots on my face removed. They no longer offer the package, but the cost is reasonable enough that I think it's worth it. This place is great. They offer lots of different facial services, they're very fast, and the staff is Korean but they speaks English.

This review is so long overdue as I've been coming to Irene Skintopia for three years now, and I…read morehonestly can't say enough good things about this place. When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. After three years of coming here, I truly trust Irene's Skintopia with my skin. They've helped me repair my skin barrier, keep my skin clear, improve my texture, and maintain results that still look natural. It is worth every single penny, and I'm so grateful I found this place. I recommend them to everyone!

It was the best facial I've ever had in Koreatown. Michelle's professionalism and attention to detail made the entire experience so relaxing and enjoyable. I also want to mention how friendly and professional the staff was, especially Jennifer. She was so knowledgeable and had such a bright, welcoming personality. I loved how clean and beautifully decorated the spa was. I've already booked my next facial because I can't wait to come back. I highly recommend visiting Gloria Skincare!

But then when I got into the actual facial procedure, it didn't go so well. I was assigned someone named Kyung. She used the needle/lancet A LOT. I had maybe one stubborn, deeper pimple, but the fact that she used a needle to puncture and squeeze a bunch of spots caused a lot of scarring/hyperpigmentation that's taken me over two weeks now to exfoliate and get rid of, and its not yet near to being clear. If their smaller ones that can be squeezed then a lot is normal- but the needle was used probably over 20 times. Not only that, but every time she spoke, it was always an attempt to get more money. First, it was asking if I wanted to buy a package or some sort of membership. She asked twice and kept on being pushy as she was doing the procedure. Next, she asked me to tip at least twice as well, and reminded me several times, even got the physical sign with her venmo/PayPal and showed it to me, to make sure I understood. Note that maybe had we made other small talk, then maybe, just maybe the way she was so pushy and trying to get more money out of me would be fine, but it was really every moment she spoke was an opportunity to get more money. It's a horrible feeling. That said, I wouldn't recommend trying, unless perhaps you're fluent in Korean and could veer the conversation to other things or speak more firmly when sold to.

I had been to Wi Spa several years ago and extensively used all the spa facilities with a group of…read morefriends. It is a buzzing and high energy atmosphere. Lots of people and the public spaces are coed. Recently I booked the AI/robotic Aescape massage at the spa. I tried to book it online but the Aescape site kept glitching and only offering NYC locations. The staff at Wi gave me the direct link which I was able to use to book. Once I had booked and fully paid up front, I downloaded the Aescape app and then found out there is a first time discount for two appointments booked at once. Customer service would not apply it to my appointments since it was prepaid. It was not useful to get that offer AFTER booking, especially since the booking process required me driving to the spa! We had to book the appointments back to back since there is only one massage room. I thought we could wait in the cafe, but we were told the cafe cannot be used without buying a spa pass. Luckily they had a waiting area in the lobby. Later we found out there is another quieter waiting area downstairs, near the treatment room. The staff orienting us for the sessions were very pleasant, helpful and thorough. There is a tablet at the table that lets you adjust massage pressure in real time as well either get real time massage details or immersive nature screens with a music playlist. The pressure truly gets adusted immediately as chosen - no delays. I liked that the robot "hands" were heated which is a nice touch. They provide a top and pants to wear for the session and it takes a moment to get used to the friction of the robot against the fabric. Overall I did not prefer the back massage to a human massage, but the hips/glutes and hamstring/calves portion was excellent. You got a chance to focus on a certain area with a bit more time and there is an overall closout and restorative portion at the end. The machine makes a loud noise, similar to a hair dryer. The tablet music does not cover it up. That took away from my relaxation a bit. However, the convenience and lower price point compared to a regular massage is a great thing in its favor.

I'm a self-proclaimed skincare snob and have done everything from leech therapy, microneedling, PRP, vampire facials, IPLs, various chemical peels, and a plethora of different lasers. I had been eyeing the Scarlet RF machine for about two years now and finally decided to pull the trigger, especially since my skin has been acting up the past six months in ways I've never seen before. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Reset Laser Clinic -- they had amazing reviews and offered the Scarlet RF treatment. I'm so glad I found them because WOW, I was beyond impressed. First of all, there was zero downtime -- and I saw instant results. My skin looked noticeably more plump and refreshed right after the treatment, and it continues to improve day by day. For anyone unfamiliar, the Scarlet RF microneedling machine improves skin tone, texture, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and scars. It combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. Results are immediate, but they keep getting better over the next six months! Reset Clinic also offers an amazing package that combines three treatments in one session: Scarlet RF, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma): where your own blood is drawn, processed to concentrate the healing platelets, and then applied to boost regeneration and healing, Rejuran (Salmon DNA Therapy): a Korean skin booster that improves hydration, elasticity, and enhances the skin's natural healing processes. Another major plus: they have their own parking lot (huge bonus for K-Town!), and my treatment also included a bit of a massage, a head spa, and a mini facial -- it felt so luxurious. I went back to work the next day without any issues. No redness, no peeling, no downtime -- just noticeably healthier, plumper skin. I'm so happy with the results and definitely plan to return for other treatments at Reset. Not sponsored, by the way -- but I did chat with them afterward about my experience, and they generously offered a discount for my followers. If you mention 'JENNY', they'll give you $112 off the Scarlet RF treatment I had done! You can book with Jenny by DM'ing them on Instagram (@reset_laser_clinic) or by calling 213-455-1950 -- just let them know I sent you!
