Wow. Just wow. I scheduled a consultation with this company because I was genuinely interested in laser hair removal. During my call with the representative at (480) 542-7002, she explained the pricing and began recommending package options. I told her I wanted some time to review the pricing and think it over before making a decision. Instead of respecting that, she became increasingly pushy and pressured me to commit on the spot. When I said I wasn't ready to make a decision, she responded, "It seems you're not ready," in a dismissive tone and continued trying to pressure me into purchasing a package. I politely explained that I would review the numbers on my own and could schedule an appointment later if I decided to move forward. She clearly didn't like that response and abruptly hung up on me. I called back because I thought we had been disconnected. Instead, the person who answered pretended she hadn't just spoken with me and hung up a second time. I got a call back asked to speak with the representative I had originally spoken to, but they refused to identify her. I also asked for a corporate customer service number or an HR contact so I could report the incident, and they refused to provide either. That level of accountability--or lack thereof--is extremely concerning. They said HR is only internal for customers. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced was shocking. No potential customer should be treated this way simply because they want time to make an informed financial decision. I like LaserAway, with some good points, some rough points, but the reason I am not going to come back is I can't handle the constant selling. I have anxiety and just don't do well it so I need to find a new location. I always feel so pressured and I've dropped thousands here. But every time I'm in, or call in, the upsell is way too stressful for me to handle. Now that being said, I'm happy with their botox, no qualms, smoothed out my big forehead and usually lasts 3-4 months before I start looking wack. The laser hair removal didn't work on me. I even did 6 full sessions. My hair is dark blonde so I wasn't sure if it would worked. But they looked at it during consultations and told me it would, sold me the treatments. Unfortunately, I think my hair ended up being too light in the end because it made zero difference for me. Wompwomp. They have a Clear & Brilliant laser facial. They told me there wouldn't redness but I was sooooo red for 5 days and my skin was so incredibly dry. I'm thankful I did this a week before a filming I had so it wasn't insanely bad. But still a week later my skin was so so so dry. I followed all the post-care instructions putting on lotion non-stop and vaseline. I'm pretty sad about this one since I didn't see any results. I'm trying to hold onto my youth here. My favorite service I've had was the Voluma in my cheeks. I never wanted filler in my face BUT I was getting gross wrinkles under my eyes. They don't do injections there to spare your eyes from any issues...but they do Voluma in the cheeks. It's quite expensive at $1250 so be sure to watch for deals. Even the next day, I could see my skin looking better and it did help pull some of the wrinkles down from my eyes. I couldn't ask for more and am a happy customer! I need to see my before and after photos! They said this lasts two years so crossing my fingers on the longevity because I am so happy with the results. Injections in the lips were also amazing. My lips are uneven and they evened it out so nicely. Lip injections is the most painful beauty treatment I've ever had in my life and I'm on the fence if it's worth it. I spent $2800 on treatment and hardly noticed any results. I contacted LaserAway to get some treatment regarding some minor box scars on my nose. During my consultation, I shared some pictures to the dermatologist (see in review) to get some advice on what treatment would be best. They heavily encouraged the RF micro-needling treatment. Wanting to trust the professionals medial expertise, I agreed to 3 sessions which WITH A DEAL, came out to $2800. It's now been 5 months since my last (3/3) session, and I don't think anything changed. I waited months to write this review hoping that the results they promised, would be seen, however sadly the only thing I've noticed is the cobwebs on my wallet thickening. The quality of customer service at the DTLA location is honestly, embarrassing. I attempted to book an appointment same day, several hours in advance; however, the first girl named Justice that I spoke with, appeared to be pleasantly accommodating, and went ahead and booked a same-day consultation for 1pm and service treatment at 1:30pm. I inquired about pushing my appointment back an hour shortly after booking the original appointment and requested for my original appointment to be held just in case they would not be unable to accommodate my postponement request . I was told that it should not be a problem and that they would call back to confirm whether or not a later time was available. instead of doing what I asked they gave away my original appointment and disrespectfully offered to confirm a service that I never requested. I attempted to seek clarification on what happened with the original appointment and a lady named Erica got on the phone and was extremely rude and passive aggressive. She let me know that they were fully booked when I asked her what happened to the appointment that I had booked? She told me I did not have an appointment It was only a consultation so I asked her did Justice lie or is there a mistake in the booking system and she kept repeating herself like a broken robot. I let staff know that I was attempting to book a service prior to my birthday and I would not be able to come in on a different day because I do not live locally and just wanted to keep the original appointment that was already booked and confirmed staff passed around the phone multiple times and appeared to be completely clueless and unprofessional. Front desk can have a sales like approach to customers, but very kinda & supper complementary to the patients. sometimes when you're looking for a good deal, LaserWay never shy away from making sure that you're able to afford your treatment in anyway possible by talking to them. They will offer you water and coffee or tea and they tend to have constantly have events and discount sales . When it comes down to the nurses and injectables I really enjoy their personalities and expertise in making sure I'm getting the proper treatment. It is a very clean and aesthetically pleasing facility. They are always able to fit me in last minute at least a day in advance and I always end up leaving happy with results that last. this is my favorite location to come to, although there is no parking. There are a lot of parking lot around the area. I highly recommend this place for injectables. I've never tried them for Laser but it is a great facilitated to checkout if you are around the area. When you arrive, they just have you wait in the lobby and don't even help you wash your face before the treatment. The water in the restroom is freezing, and they only give you one shabby towel to use. I urge anyone considering using LaserAway to do adequate research before falling for their scam like I did. unfortunately, I did not read enough Google and Reddit reviews about them before making a very costly mistake. (Go look at those, people express similar experiences and concerns). against my better judgment, I bought an 8-session package, costing over $3k, when the sales associate told me there was no way to come in for a single session. any time a business tells you that you have to buy a non-refundable package and do not get an opportunity to try the service first with a single session it is scamming you. that is a very obvious fact, and I am embarrassed that I fell for it. I have used only four of those sessions, which took over eight visits to a location to get through. I began trying to use the Santa Monica location, which was walking distance from my house. the issues began with my very first session. when they sell you the package, the sales associate informs you that getting appointments is very easy because you can request and track everything in their dedicated app. I scheduled my first appointment and received a confirmation page. when I showed up, the front desk told me they had no record of my appointment. I expressed confusion and frustration, the front desk staff explained that the app does not work, and I will need to call to make all appointments. not ideal, but doable. while I was able to get in for treatment for the first couple sessions with few issues, once I started calling, it quickly became clear that LaserAway never intended to let me use all 8 sessions. on three separate occasions, I had shown up for scheduled and confirmed appointments, only be turned away by the front desk staff after arriving, with the explanation that a nurse hadnt shown up for work that day or they were so far behind they couldn't see me at all now. Of course, I received no call ahead of time. And every time I did get in for a session, the nurse would tell me that I am not going to get any results from the laser treatment because I am taking too long in between appointments. So now my understanding is that the package I bought won't even be effective because of LaserAway's failure to meet their obligations when you book appointments. The appointments always started late, but after the third time I was turned away, the front desk staff acknowledged this fact, and insisted that I come back later in the day and promised to be treated at that time. I clarified specifically that there would be availability at that exact time. When I returned, I waited for half an hour after the new appointment time and when I was still not called back to get ready for my service, I left again. I did not give the Santa Monica location another chance after that. When I requested LaserAway to provide a refund of the unused services, it was told to me that no refund is possible. Thus, my only option was to try another location to see if I have a better experience. I gave the Beverly Hills location a chance. unfortunately, they were just as irresponsible and disrespectful of appointment times. The only positive thing I will say about the Beverly Hills staff is that they were apologetic and tried to provide a free facial service as an apology. Their excuse is that their nurses are very thorough, which is fine, but does not excuse them being unable to book appointments for adequate times. I hope that whoever is reading this is thinking very carefully about trusting LaserAway with their money. if you still want to use them, insist on a trial period or that the package be refundable. If they refuse, please use another service like ProLase where you pay per session. I had never once had any issues with other laser companies that don't force you to buy packages that they know you can't refund. Just please really consider whether it's worth it for you to be locked into to be a big contract. I inquired about their tattoo laser hair removal during their promotion last year. I was skeptical at first but my initial consult helped me decide on moving forward. I've had 6 sessions already and I have seen a big difference in my sessions. I've had amazing customer service starting from the front desk to the registered nurses. There's numbing cream applied before your session so you do have to come 30mins before your actual appointment. You get a reminder via text as well. The process is a bit painful so it honestly depends on your pain level. Parking in DTLA is tough so it's better to park at target and get your ticket validated. I've been going to Laser Away many years ago in Mountain View and was very happy with their laser hair removal and Clear + Brilliant services. When I moved here, I could not believe they opened one within walking distance from me. Appointments are easy to make and what I've learned is calling towards the end of the week for cancellations is the way to go if you prefer last minute bookings like me. For the most part, this location has always been clean but their bathrooms can be improved. They have a lot of promotions and are big on selling packages. The last one I bought came with some free treatments which I didn't use. In the beginning, I really did not appreciate the excessive calls and emails I kept getting from both locations - they can be quite aggressive but they've backed off since. Many faces have came and went but Jessica has been one of the originals since I started coming here. She has been friendly, helpful and very hospitable every time. Mountain View LA produced better results with hair removal. I know every body part is different with hair growth, thickness etc. and Jessica did hook me up with a bonus session which was greatly appreciated but it's a mystery to me why my results were so weak and I've accepted I'm just a gorilla. Erika did my Clear and Brilliant treatments the last few times and nurses should learn from her! There were some sessions in the past where I would request not to treat my full face but with her I get it all done. I got better results with Erika because she is very generous with the numbing cream which makes a world of a difference on pain. She is very thorough and does a great job making you feel taken care of. Almost all of the nurses I've worked with here has been great with the exception of maybe one but I haven't seen her around. Laser Away is the WORST! I received the IPL treatment on my chest and left with major burns that had blisters. I told the front desk that my chest was on fire so she offered me aloe but the pain was unbearable. It took weeks to heal and I'm still left with broken capillaries and even worse brown spots than when I started. When I reached out to Laser Away about the issue, they didn't do anything about it. I'm still having to pay for the service and nothing was done about it. I've gotten this service before from other companies and this never happened. They took weeks to get back with me and didn't resolve anything for the lack of professionalism and causing severe burns on my chest. I bought a Brazilian and under arm, laser hair removal package, which I am completely satisfied with because the results did exactly what I was looking for which was to erase hyperpigmentation and dark marks from my bikini line and I never have to shave under arms either. I've also gotten Juvederm syringes which I've also loved the results of those, but I will say I'm very disappointed in the cool sculpting that I was convinced to buy. I spoke with the nurse over the phone and sent pictures of my problem area, which was my chin and they assured me I was a good candidate, but when I went to do the procedure, two of the suctions weren't even used because I don't have enough fat in that area apparently even though I was told over the phone and with the pictures that it would benefit me. I still have the same amount of extra fat under my chin despite me having a smaller frame so instead of doing another useless cool sculpting appointment, they offered to switch it out for a different treatment unbeknownst to me, I'd still have to pay the difference for a new treatment so now I'm stuck with this cool sculpting package that I bought that I'm never going to use. And after reading reviews on yelp, I do agree with them up selling even if you don't need it. The only other qualm I have is the online appointment booking process. I've booked appointments online for laser hair removal and been called hours before my appointment letting me know that they have to cancel and reschedule because there's no technician working which makes no sense. This is happened at least three times where I've been rescheduled. Also you can't book any treatment through the website or app only very specific ones and you have to buy the package before even really understanding what it is you're buying. Even the treatments that you can purchase through the app or online don't have any information on how the procedure goes or aftercare or what kind of machinery is used. This company is not as transparent as they could be, and not all of the employees are experts on every treatment so it makes the whole process difficult. How am I supposed to decide which treatment is best for me if the only way to get information is to come in for an in person consultation where they just upsell you without regard for your personal needs? This is not by any means a dig at any employees because every employee that I've ever been serviced by has been extremely professional thorough and friendly. Wow! How can I feel comfortable to go to a place that just in the first step to get seen they are very Rude. Just received a call for my consultation the woman seemed like she was bothered and had this nasty tone of voice in which she asked me a question and I was a little confused and she seemed upset that I didn't understand her question. Then I just had this vibe from her that she was just not wanting to be helpful. Let me remind you Customer Service says a lot. Then I said you know what I'm ok thank you and she just hung up even before I finished my sentence. Will look for another place definitely. No stars if I could. read more
