The consultation was amazing, informative and the customer service was great. I booked a treatment for $225. I have received a handful of HydraFacial's throughout the years and have always love the end results. This experience was not the same. The treatment felt rushed. and I did not have that hyrdated glow after the service. I expressed my concerns and was met with "the treatment you booked is an express facial and also what would you like us to do". Sadly disappointed. read more

Hit this place up for laser tattoo removal. Its funny how when you are 15 yrs old putting a couple free tattoos on yourself with a needle and thread seems like an awesome idea. Then a good 15 more years later you are making multiple trips into the dermatologist 's office. Yeah, those "free" tattoos cost about a grand and awesome is probably the last word I would use to describe them. They look like the same type of ghetto tattoos you would get of your cellmate's name. Also, Id give the application of said tattoos a 5 on the 1-10 pain scale. Removing them, heh, an 8-8.5. I like to think of the pain as the feeling of the stupid leaving my body. If you go in for this procedure they can numb you up (for a couple extra bucks). I don't bother with the one on my arm because its small and annoying to be stuck with the syringe over and over again. My leg though, I sure as hell get that. One time I was all like Hurr Hurr Hurr I'm a Man, just zap it quick and Ill be on my way. Omg, lets just say I will not be repeating that again. Felt like someone was slowly pouring smoking hot oil down my leg. Overall the office seems pleasant and the cost of the removal is less than half of what I was being charged in Portland. I'm 4 treatments into it as of writing this and its going away slow but steady, Id guess I'm about half done.They seem to do a lot of other things at this clinic as well, like laser hair removal, some sort of vein removal thing, fat removal, botox injections and a bunch of other stuff. Maybe it would be nice to get the facial hair zapped off, shaving every morning is a drag. They have a couple days a week where they are open late, till like 7 I believe. Don't expect to drop in though, they seem to be booked up a bit in advance. If I want to name my exact day and time I have to go about 5 weeks out (which is fine because I have to wait 4-6 weeks between sessions anyways) read more

I called to make an appointment for a consultation with the only opening 6 weeks out. They asked for my credit card and I was immediately charged $50. About a month before the appointment I went to see a dermatologist and he advised me what to do for my issue. When I got home from seeing the doctor, I called to cancel the consultation and was told the $50 was non refundable! Seriously, the appointment was a month away! I told the receptionist I thought that was unethical. She advised I could use the $50 towards a future procedure or product. I got in my car, drove to their office, and bought some moisturizers from them because they weren't getting my $ for nothing! I would definitely not use them and have spread this story to my friends, hair and nail person so they can spread the message too. Beware. read more

Got my botox done with them total of five times. The first time was administered by one of the guy doctors there. It looked great, I did my brow lift and forehead done. The next time came back three months later to get my brows done again, the nurse did it this time, it did not take-never happened before. So I went back and I got the girl again she re did my eyebrows-I still had to pay for it. A week and a half later and 200 dollars waisted still nothing. So I decided that I'm not going back for my third try eyebrow lift. I mean if they still make you pay for it and nothing happens-honestly I'm more than upset. I have done Botox usually in Seattle with SkinSpirit. They do a great job and it takes a full effect within a few days. So if you guys ever in Seattle and want Botox to actually work please go in to Skin Spirit to see Catherine she is a great nurse that does everything by the latest techniques. read more

Went in for an open house event for BOTOX and had a very lovely experience! Dr. Smith was awesome, the front office staff super sweet and I'm so happy with my results. He didn't try to talk me into anything extra and listened to my wants and concerns. I was in and out pretty fast, even as a walk in service and they gave me a little powder in their makeup bar area to cover any red on my fair skin. I have had ups and down with botox living in different cities and when you find a good injector you should definitely stick with them! I had been quoted $70-$110 more from other med spas in Tri-Cities for just my 11's and after achieving what I was hoping I am now certain other places up charge and over-do. read more

I have been with Dermacare/Dermahealth for over 15 years. From the Receptionists to the PAs to Dr Smith, everyone has consistently been courteous, understanding and professional. With my history of over 30 years in the Navy, I have experienced significant sun exposure throughout the globe and that sun has not been kind to my skin. I have been treated frequently for pre-cancer sites, basal and squamous cell cancers (radiation and MOHS surgery), and even the occasional "facial treatment" as mandated by my wife, all with excellent results. Products here are a little pricey, but let me assure you it is worth it! All the ladies at DermaCare are very helpful and knowledgable. Be sure to call ahead to get your free Jane Airedale Consultation, it makes it easier to pick out your products. Kudos need to be given to Nedy (you will know her by her flawless makeup) at the front counter. She makes customer service look effortless & reminds me of a seemingly era gone by where the customer's needs are equally important to those of the company. This review would be five stars if DermaCare stocked more products in their store. We had to come back up from Oregon to purchase items that were out of stock. Stay out of this place. I went there for advice for my very dry and scared skin. The Dr. Was so not professional and he didn't want to even look at the pigmentation or dry spots I had. He's just kept saying that nothing is going to work for me. Scars are going to stay. Didn't even give the options I have. He decided that since I am darker skin women laser or any other type of treatment is not for my skin type which I have never heard it anywhere. He just acted like he wanted to give me bunch of products and get rid of me. So disappointed and not going there ever again. read more

I was pleased that after arriving earlier than my appointment I was taken back after a minimal wait. The staff was very professional, kind and courteous. They actually went out of their way to go online to help me get a coupon for an acne medication since they no longer had any lying around and the medication is several hundred dollars. Horrible place. The women in the front office are terribly snotty. The PA over injected me then tried to charge me twice. I attempted to talk to Dr. Smith but he would not call or email me. They would not even provide me a copy of my receipt. This place is unprofessional, disrespctful, medically incompetent, and they refuse to take responsibilty for their mistakes. I've been into Dermacare several times for various skin issues. I have found the staff friendly and very helpful. Doctor Smith was funny and very supportive. He even came back to the skin care side of the business to personally answer a question about a treatment. They do require some form of payment up front, but I would assume they do that to minimize loss when people cancel or are no shows. read more

The staff and services are great! A GF grabbed me and we went for their annual Open House. There was lots of activity, give aways, drawings, ect. They had speciasls on their products and services. I opted to do Botox and am a huge fan! When I wasn't fully pleased with the results, they made it right. I have nopw joined their VIP program and love the monthly facials. read more

Complete rip off... I was supposed to get laser hair removal for large areas but the staff member only was concerned about charging me first before even scheduling me and then after the fact they took 240$ for nothing basically just for putting me down for treatment, she could not find a day for me that would fit my schedule and I work night shift at hospital. We found a day that is three months ahead. And when that day came by I could not go because I had to work I left them a v.m two days before my app. But when I called again to reschedule they didn't acknowledge my cancellation, and I kept asking the staff member for days hag I'm available to come for treatment she would always say they are full or no opening. Then she would state days that don't work with my Schedule again. I got so mad and I asked the lady if you guys are not willing to work with me even though you have charged me 240 you will need to give me back my money because you are not giving me the treatment. I didn't get money nor treatment. In fact i think I need to sue that place for misconduct. read more

Buyer Beware!! This company is unethical. I paid upfront for a service and when I ended up moving out of the state, they would not refund my $1600 payment. They expected me to drive back to Washington for each service (6 services) or use the money to buy products. Are you serious? $1600 worth of products? My best friend and I went Dermacare for lipo and the Dr ruined us! He left a big lump around my belly button and some other lumps around my lower stomach. My best friend did her thighs and she ended up looking like she had cottage cheese and she didn't have that before. I followed up with the docter and he blew me off and was really rude, but my best friend got him to "touch it up" for her. Now it looks even worse and she regrets it even more. She said when she talked to the girls up front in the office they said they have had to do it 2 or 3 times because of bumps. I wish I had never done it, my best friend wishes she had never done it, I do not recommend this place! I had a very minimal area that I was wanting removed, in fact is was quite vain of me to have the procedure done, something I note now in hindsight. I am extremely fit and eat very carefully, lean meats, vegetables, minimal sugar. My families body type has a little pooch in the tummy and I thought that maybe after years I would be able to get rid of that and see some of my hard work pay off. Now every single day of my life I look in the mirror and regret having ever gone into that office. I see pictures of myself before and realize that I was perfect the way I was. Above anything else, I want the women who read this to understand that. That when you do something as aggressive as these cosmetic procedures, by someone who is not properly trained, or just does not care, they can ruin you for life. Then is how you are naturally really so bad? I am ruined, for life. I suppose I could go and shell out another $7000 to go to another doctor and see if they could fix it, but I wish that they had just told me in the beginning that my body wasn't right for it, or that it wouldn't work right on me, or that he didn't now what he was doing, instead of ruining my body. On top of that, to brush me off was was the rudest thing a person could ever do. He left his mark on my body forever, and he couldn't even give me two seconds of his time. First lady who did it set The zapper so high I had to cancel the rest my appointment and I never had a consult second appointment went really well and didn't hurt. But I am still in pain . read more

Recently purchased the Exilis to tighten area under my neck. I am very glad I bought it at one of their sales. It's not worth it!! The gals said due to being 31 and purchasing Bio Body products I'd get excellent results. I barely have noticeable results and feel like it was a complete waist of money. I would not recommend Dermacare! I have been there at least 5 times with my teenage kids (only because it took too long to get an appointment somewhere else). Every time we leave feeling unhappy and kind of beat up. We have only seen the nurse practitioner's, not any of the doctors. One of them is so arrogant and makes you feel about two feet tall. He kept quizzing my son on things he didn't know and was just completely rude. We were there for help, not a test. The other nurse practitioner is better, but still doesn't have a bed side manner. Feels like they ridicule you when you are there. We were there just yesterday and the assistant gal is chomping on her gum and wouldn't even look at us as she is asking her routine questions. They need a good Office Manager to whip that place into shape. I have not met one really nice caring person who works there. read more

First time here I had a very pleasant experience, but on my second time it went way South. I was told by one employee "I'm gonna give you ten dollars off" this certain product but low and behold I'm then made to pay for it on my second visit on top of what I was going to pay for my next appointment. I tried explaining what I was told by the first employee but it didn't really seem to matter and it's not worth it for $10 but it's not about the money I just felt very deceived into thinking I was getting an even better deal than what I am and there should definitely be much better communication between the staff if they're gonna be giving our different prices and taking the liberty of charging back any discount you may have gotten. Most of the staff is very nice I will say but there is one employee who gawked at me after seeing me come out of my session and that was a little uncomfortable. With time if my results aren't very good I probably won't be going back. read more

Be careful when you get your bill!! They try to push you into see the ARNP who's listed as being with the organization for 7 years on their website. Not so much!! She's not a preferred provider with most insurance compaines like the doctor's at DermaCare are. So, your insurance company doesn't cover any of the services because Ms. Stindham ARNP is considered out of network. The billing department blows you off and never returns your phone calls like they say they will to "attempt" to resolve the issue. But they send you a nice bill for ALL the services that weren't covered. Makes no sense as they want to make sure you have insurance before they will see you. Will never be going back to DermaCare as their customer service is terrible!!!! read more

If I could give a negative 5 starts, I would...I made an appointment for a laser tattoo removal consultation and was told I would need 5-6 laser treatments. I'm currently at six treatments in and it is barely starting to look like it's fading. I am extremely disappointed in the results and have pretty much been conned into a lot more treatments. Although I my ultimate goal is to have the tattoo removed and I would have paid 20 sessions if they would have said that's what was needed but instead I felt like I was lied to and cheated. When I expressed my concern, the staff at the front desk basically said that's just the way it is and if I wasn't happy, I could end the treatments and take my business elsewhere. If I would have known that this is how customers are treated, I would have never tried to commit to this procedure. It was to the point where I felt uncomfortable walking in the office and dealing with the staff. If I were you, I would do several consultations with different clinics to see what they offer for maximum results. I hope this helps. read more
