I scheduled an appointment to do my eyebrows, it was my first time. The place is located inside a shopping strip that looks like it's falling apart. The front door doesn't even have proper signage and looks more like a run down strip mall than a spa. I was greeted by the front desk lady and she asked me to sign in and sign a consent. After that she proceeded to ask me for payment (before I even had my service done) and I said okay, but then she asked me for my driver license because she needed a copy. My red signals went off. I've had my eyebrows done at multiple places and not once have they asked for my DL. I'm not sure how they are getting away with this and it's sad that many people do not understand that this is the first step to identity theft. Please do not provide your personal information to this business, identity theft is very real and in FL a lot of these business do not have the security protocols in place to protect your information. this is easily the worst place I have ever been to in my entire life. I spent the whole day yesterday crying and how to cancel photo shoot I had planned for two months now because I physically cannot be seen in public with how bad these lashes are. when I first came in I specifically told them that I wanted very long with almost no volume because I like the very natural wispy look. I showed them a bunch of reference photos including ones that I have gotten done at other spas. The lady agreed charge me $150 and spent 3 1/2 hours just sabotaging me I guess. As you can see from the 2nd photo which was taken three hours after I got home and I just finished crying for a fourth time these are the clumsiest shortest lashes I've ever seen in my entire life. it looks like I have two small black caterpillars sleeping on my eyes. This is the exact opposite of what I want and when I called them today to see if they could rectify it by removing my lashes and giving me at least partial of the money back they said no. I had to call a second time for them to finally agree to remove the lashes after giving me a ton of attitude and telling me that what I have done in the past is impossible to do as if I don't literally have photo proof??? But that they do not give refunds at all and they had expected me to pay for the removal even though I've had it for less than 24 hours. honestly I am considering having to takeoff work because I don't want to be seen like this. I went for my fist micro blading at Derma Bless on Coral Wat Street. I should have been skeptical when they through in a Free Hydro Cleaning. The blond hair manager told me that I needed to come in for a in-depth cleaning. I thought is what they offered as a free service. It was not. I even gave a 30% down for retouching the brows. I called the owner Jose Gracia to return my 30% down and her texted me that I was a bitch. I also asked 4 times to give me a copy of my signed documents and to day they have refused. I just have to say that the place it is nice and well decorated, but the prices are extremely height for just an ok service. I went for an stardust eyeliner, I even spoke to the owner first to make sure that the person had enough experience in that particular service and I was told she did!!! Off course the eyeliner was a complete disaster!! The lines are not the same length and they almost completely disappeared after a week, not to mention that it was no stardust line what I got on my eyes . I called the owner to express my concern and disappointment and I was told I was going to be refunded the $200 I paid for it and today it has been almost a month and no refund was made on my account. I took a presential class with Dermabless on july 29 and 30. The class was suppose to be teach by the CEO Milley Ajo and the two days she was late. We lost time the two days. I was promise to work in class and in the model the second day and we never got to do it . I asked the CEO to help me the second day to with the design of the eyebrow and she just told me to check the video she will send me a video for me to learn instead of teaching the class. I have been doing my homework and all the members in the class ask her for help a few days back she was really rude and i was removed from the chat. I paid $1600 for the class and i was not train the correct way. She is not professional at all and she is stealing from people. I went in to do my lashes, and the tech who was working in me was apparently still in training, and took longer than expected and often had to ask for help from other techs. In addition, I asked for the lashes to be the length of mine because I don't want them super long, and after telling me my length was 12 they put 13 because they had run out of #12 (I was told of this prior to get the size 13) Since I understand it's ok for techs to have a learning curve and that maybe they had just rubbed out I decided to try again and made another appt with a different tech at a later date, the day of the appointment there was an accident or some other thing blocking the way to go to them and despite being in the car 2 hrs driving to them with ne calling them and approximate them of the situation, they called as I was at the corner of their place and told me that after 30 min waiting they had to cancel my appointment. I asked for a refund of the deposit since it wasn't my fault and they knew if the situation, that was 4 days ago and I still waiting for an answer. read more
