Ruben provided one of the most detailed estimates we received. He clearly explained the scope and process, which helped us understand exactly what we were paying for and make an informed decision. We had received a lower estimate from another contractor, but the scope left too many unanswered questions and potential surprises once the work began. Ruben's professionalism also stood out. He provided the contract electronically for signing as well as a hard copy in a professional folder, along with proof of general liability insurance. His contractor credentials were also easy to verify through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), which gave us additional confidence. Ruben truly underpromised and overdelivered. The project was estimated to take until Monday, especially considering the weekend temperatures were over 100°F, but they started Friday and completed the work the following day. The job site was left clean, and the workmanship was excellent. RGM Construction, Inc. is definitely a contractor I would keep on my list for future projects and confidently recommend to others. But the major thing we wanted done was the removal of the old and beat-up vinyl siding to have it replaced with stucco for a cleaner look. Plus we would need the house to be repainted as well. Compared to other businesses, it really felt like Angel was looking to provide exactly was needed and asked for, and I never *ever* felt like we were being upsold on anything. In the end, the cost of our project was less than half (!!) what other people quoted us for. Angel's customer service was also excellent. Given that experience, after getting about 5 different quotes, we again hired Nazar. His team, including the primary contractor Philip and the program manager Tobias, were great. They generally had very good communication, had no issues with us ordering our materials directly, handled the entire permitting process, and Philip had excellent workmanship. There were responsive to any concerns we raised and generally it was a great experience. Scope of work: removed the wall dividing the vanity and the toilet/shower; replaced vanity, mirror, toilet, shower door. Waterproofed and installed new shower tile on floor and walls; installed new tile on bathroom floor, along with tile baseboards (which they had to cut). Replaced ceiling fan; installed LED mirror and new can lights on ceiling. Built shelving nook. We love our new bathroom and recommend Nazar and his team!
