I've been using Rochester Dog Walkers for almost two years now for my 6 year old rescue dog. I work…read morelong days, and while he's generally a couch potato, he loves to get outside and really likes (most) people so I like having someone come give him some company and let him out a few days a week. RDW has two different scheduling options - you can schedule on your own as needed or you can join the Pack which includes a walk every weekday (at a discount) as well as several other benefits. My work schedule is (unfortunately for me) variable, so a pack membership just didn't make sense, though it would almost certainly be worth it for someone who needs that consistency. The "a la carte" option is very simple - just request your walks for the following week by Wednesday. I try to request several weeks at a time, but on occasion my schedule comes out late or I forget, and RDW has always been very helpful. I work some evenings, holidays, and weekends and RDW can accommodate all of those which is rare. Customer service is AMAZING. I really appreciated the time B took on our first meeting to get to know my dog and to ask such great questions to figure out what my needs were. Likely due to my ever changing schedule, there are multiple dog walkers who come to my house. I've never had an issue with any of them. Any time a new staff member needs to be introduced to my dog, one of our existing walkers comes with to facilitate that process. Communication is easy; when I have had to get in touch with them I have always had a response within a few hours. You can send an email or chat directly with walkers in the app. My dog has some personality quirks (unsure what life was like for him before being with me) that we've had to work with - RDW has been very understanding about this and willing to work with us to make sure everyone, including my dog, stays safe. In general, RDW makes me feel like I have people in my corner who care about my dog as much as I do. Seeing the update from my dog walker that day and photos is always a bright spot during a hectic shift at work. I know my guy is having the best time with his friends at RDW, and I am so happy I found this business. I cannot recommend RDW enough. Worth every penny.

In general, the same caregiver comes each day to feed, play with and walk them. The service is friendly, prompt, and accommodating and their fees are incredibly fair.

We got her from a rescue when she was about 7 months old and started taking her to Christopher Robins (C.R.) when she was about 10 months old as we wanted her to be comfortable socializing with other dogs and humans. We chose C.R. because of how the dogs are allowed to interact with each other. The play sessions they set up are truly customized to our dog's personality, how she likes to play, and her level of comfort with other dogs. They monitor to make sure the dogs don't get overwhelmed, and to ensure the play groups are fun for our dog and those she plays with. We get report cards showing pictures of her play sessions so we can see her progress. Dogs are social animals and need their pack. C.R. will let us know when she has a good day, when she helps comfort another dog who needs help engaging with the group, or when she has a new best friend. It's been almost two years since we started using Christopher Robins and highly recommend them. Our dog is thriving and looks forward to going to C.R. every time. Though it is 100% our responsibility to train our dog and prepare them for social situations, and C.R. has helped enhance our dog's socialization and how she plays. This is a great place where we don't worry about her and she gets to redirect her energy in a positive way.

My dogs stayed here last February and April. Unfortunately in February, I changed their food and…read moreboth dogs got diarrhea. On top of that something either on their floors or outside caused their paws to bleed. My vet didn't know if they had a reaction to something they cleaned the floors with or something outside. Basically, my poor babies were miserable. Here, I have absolutely no complaints. They were wonderful with my dogs and took great care of them. They went back in April and had a great stay. I was also told that they would be welcomed back, which apparently was a lie. Where they lost my recommendation was what happened after. I recently called to have them stay there again and I received an email declining the reservation. Their explanation was that due to my dogs anxiety they would not accept them. Yes, one of my dogs has anxiety and is on medication, however, that did not cause the bloody paws or the diarrhea. I called as soon as their office was open and received their voicemail, so I left basically the same message as I wrote above. They replied with an email saying that they would review the situation. Well, it's been over a week and I never heard back. it is bad business to welcome someone back when they are face to face with you and then go back on that in an email, reply to a phone call with an email and then drop all communication.

I had not gone for 4 months because my health was having an issue in the hospital not being able to drive per Dr orders. I made an appointment brought my Charlie in and I have been bathing him and brushing him all the time to make sure he had no knots in his fur. I dropped him off and when I went to pick him up they said because I hadnt been in a while the fee was 118. when I normally pay 61. I think that was out they did that and so convenient they didn't tell me when I dropped him off they waited for me to come and pick him up then told. I think that was so unfair my friend was so upset when I told her she says I should not have paid that price who doubles a fee without saying a head of time to your customer. my last time there I went to pick my dog up and the owner had to rush her dog to vet and she used my dogs collar I had to wait an hour fur her to get back so I could leave that was a really big inconvenience. I would watch about giving barks and bubbles your business I won't anymore. I will probably put a statement on fb as well this was really an underhand way of doing busness.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I'm SO happy we found Spuds Spawz!…read more I've been hunting and searching for a really good dog groomer, and after seeing all the amazing reviews for Spuds Spawz, I decided to give them a try. I'm SO glad I did! Having a long-haired German Shepherd, finding the right groomer is extremely important to us. We had taken him somewhere else in the past and unfortunately had a pretty bad experience--and it was way too expensive. So, needless to say, I was a little nervous trying somewhere new. From the very beginning, Spuds Spawz was absolutely amazing! Being able to communicate through text was SO convenient, and they were incredibly responsive, friendly, and pleasant to talk to. The moment we walked through the door, I immediately had that feeling that we had finally found the perfect place for our dog. The business was extremely clean, welcoming, and you could tell they genuinely care about the animals they work with. I'll be honest--I was nervous dropping him off because of our previous experience and was worried about how he would look when we picked him up. But Spuds Spawz kept me updated throughout the entire process, which gave me so much peace of mind. They even sent me a VIDEO of our dog telling his entire life story. I absolutely loved it! And when we picked him up... WOW! He looked absolutely AMAZING! They did exactly what I asked and made him look just like the photo I had sent. I couldn't have been happier with the results! I cannot recommend Spuds Spawz enough! We will absolutely be returning and have officially found our forever groomer. If you're looking for a groomer who is affordable, responsive, welcoming, caring, and does an incredible job, PLEASE give Spuds Spawz a try. I promise you won't be disappointed!
