These guys were amazing!! It was our first time using a moving company and now, we're hooked! They moved us from a second story apartment (no elevator so, steps) in Mulberry to a two story condo (ours is both floors, so, more steps) in Lakeland... in July. That's brutal! Three fellas showed up, right on time, happy and ready to go! We chose to pack our own goods and have the boxes waiting so all they'd have to do is load up the truck with boxes and our furniture. So, everything was ready. They were so fast and careful with our goodies! I couldn't believe it! Two and a half hours later, we were fully moved in to our new condo! Start to finish, 2 1/2 hours! Oh and it was so so cheap! We've made the move by ourselves before in the Florida July heat and it sucks! The cost for hiring movers is well, WELL worth it! If I'm remembering correctly, I want to say our final bill was something like $400.... but if I'm being honest, I really thing it was less. Everything was perfect! My wife had a great experience with our move. The guys that took care of us were very polite and extremely hard working. They are very professional and arrive in uniforms with their own truck. They called us to confirm the day before and again the day of the move. They were able to come earlier than the time we scheduled which was fantastic for us. They carefully wrapped all of our furniture in blankets and nothing was damaged. They were very respectful of our home when the unloaded for us and put everything in place very quickly. The crew that moved us out of our old house was a little careless (scratches and dings to the walls, but nothing broken) and sometimes we had trouble reaching the office by phone...thus 4 stars rather than 5. But our belongings, which we had to store unexpectedly for 8 months, were in perfect condition (clean, no damage), and the crew that delivered it to our new home could not have been more professional and careful. I was quite unhappy with my move since they damaged my furniture and then tried to blame me for the damage. They were only moving my furniture, no boxes. They sat my wood dresser on its side on the asphalt and then slid it on the asphalt, twice! This chipped the corner plus chewed up the side. Some items they put on the truck without wrapping them and I was told, by the owner, that everything would be wrapped. Some of the moving blankets they used were already ripped which didn't provide the protection the blankets should have (corners of my dining room chairs were exposed). I had to ask them to wrap everything. They were not careful at all and seemed to be in a hurry to get the job done. I had to call the office to discuss the damage and they agreed to get the item repaired. The repair was "ok". I withheld my payment and said I would pay them for the move when my dresser was returned to me. They made it very clear that they were quite annoyed with that. I just wanted to make sure my dresser was repaired and returned to me. I was very disappointed with these movers. I will not use them again and will not recommend them to anyone. If you care about your furniture, don't use them. read more

I have moved 9 times in my adult life, including several long distance moves (1,000 plus miles). Matt and his crew are among the best! Their estimate for moving the contents of my 4 bedroom home across Lakeland was the lowest quote I received, and it was a flat rate quote. Another Movers's estimate was almost double, and they would still charge an unpredictable hourly rate. Dependable Moving Company got the job, and they cut no corners. My mother's glass and mahogany china cabinet was covered in three deep layers of protection; Matt personally packed my grandmothers china with the same care he might have given to his own heirlooms. We spoke with Matt initially about our move from Lakeland, FL to Woodstock, GA. He set up a time to come to give us an estimate on the same day we contacted him. He was polite, very personable and efficient as he estimated the costs. His cost beat all others we obtained. We set up a date for the packing and a scheduled date for the move. Matt and one other person packed the house in less than 4 hours and everything was packed in furniture pads and taped tightly, then wrapped in clear plastic wrap to protect the furniture. Items boxed were wrapped well in packing paper. The truck was loaded without damage to any walls of the house. The same two men were the ones who drove the truck to Georgia and unloaded, unpacked and unwrapped the furniture. We could not have asked for a better moving company or more respectful men to do the job. They were kind and courteous at all times and never took a break. Every item was accounted for. At one point they thought they lost a one inch wooden dowel plug but found it within minutes. You will not go wrong if you hire this company!
