We found this company from a paper ad attached to a pole in a parking lot in Clarence mall. Unsure of what to expect, we called and spoke with Keegan. He was very polite, friendly and his fee is very affordable. I highly recommend Keegan and MK Garage Door services for all your garage door related needs.

I don't believe it needed any parts just an adjustment, but what do I know. Anyway, I asked him how much would it be to get a new one and he said $1,350 installed. I was a little surprised since everyone else quoted me half that price. When I proceeded to ask why he mentioned the Tarrifs, eventhough the pricing through Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Rona and Costco have not have stayed relatively the same. He then mentioned that if I replace all three garage doors they have a special to include an opener. That's when I knew it was time to end the conversation, gave him his $30 for coming out and walked away. I gave the review 2 stars because he showed up on time and seemed like a nice guy.

The expectation is that people will move frequently and the warranty will end. Well, yesterday another spring failed and now the Door Doctor is trying to change the warranty and tell us that the warranty is no longer valid as we did not bring them in to lubricate the springs and rollers. The contract only specifies that lubrication needs to be done, and as the last technician showed me what to do, I have done so spring and fall. Nowhere does it say the lubrication needs to be done by them, only that repairs need to be done by the company. We have gone round and round on circular arguments where they are refusing to honour the warranty. The company that was once honourable has changed under new ownership. my request to speak to someone who would honour the warranty was denied by Service. Why would a company expect me to bring them in and pay full price for their services when they have displayed a lack of integrity?

Finally the order was placed in late August. The door, with 2 side lites and multi points locking system, was ready, Joe called to confirm installation date. Within 2 days Ken and Joe came back to adjust the sweep, as well as providing 2 additional corner seala ensuring the new door is tight and no cold draft coming in.
