their price blew everybody else's price away, in fact it was so cheap that I was worried about it…read morebeing a scam but it was real. They required 1/4 down so eventually I said well I'm gonna take a chance and they were more than $1000 cheaper. The quote I got from someone else and there was no waiting to get it done. I watched them work. And it was cold and I've been giving everybody their card. Also the doors are R 20 and the other quotes were our 12 and R18 from the other companies. nice guys too, plus they mfg the doors. I would recommend them to anyone.

BEWARE OF FOX DOORS…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with Fox Doors and would strongly caution anyone considering using this company. I purchased FIVE commercial garage doors from Fox Doors for approximately $34,000 cash based on representations made by Daniel Vorobiov and Eddie (Eduard) Vorobiov. Their written quotation specifically stated: * R20 fully insulated Canadian-made doors * All new tracks, springs, and hardware * LiftMaster commercial-grade operators * 10 YEAR WARRANTY on all panels One of the conditions of the sale was that they would arrange installation after I paid cash upfront. After the doors were delivered, I was then told they could not provide an installer for approximately two months, forcing me to find and pay another installer myself just to complete the project. After installation, Fox Doors later claimed the doors required "fine tuning." They charged me an additional $2,000 to send one of their own technicians to adjust the doors. During that visit, their technician broke a torsion spring and another operator was left malfunctioning afterward. I have photo and video documentation regarding the condition of the doors and equipment. When I contacted Daniel and Eddie regarding the damage caused during their service visit, I was told I would need to pay for a replacement spring myself, even though their technician broke it. After multiple attempts to resolve the matter professionally, I was eventually told I had no warranty coverage despite the written quotation referencing warranty coverage and new spring/hardware systems. In my experience, the communication, accountability, and customer service were extremely poor. The agreement and expectations changed significantly after payment was made, and I was left with damaged equipment, additional costs, and unresolved problems. Buyer beware. Make sure every promise, installation commitment, service obligation, and warranty term is clearly documented in writing before making payment

We are happy with the service we received from Dodds and our new garage door looks amazing. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and professional and the installers did a great job. The estimated delivery was six weeks but there was a delay of an additional six weeks due to covid. Other than that, we are extremely happy and would definitely recommend them.

I've called Dodds office and was given the date and time of the visit of the sales person/estimator. I got a day off, but nobody came at the appointed time. When I called Dodds office, they told me that they forgot to give the sales person my request. Finally, the sales person/estimator arrived. He gave me a written quote with the total amount, without prices of each type of work. Luckily, I wrote down his verbal quotes for each job. When I've put his estimates together it turned out that the total amount in his quote exceeded his verbal estimates. I had to make several phone calls to make sure he adjusts the total. When the technician (Zaza Zaalishvili) came over to complete the installation on the appointed day, he started by asking me how to install the capping. I told him I'm no expert in garage door installation and suggested that he calls his project manager. This caused Zaza an inexplicable outburst of indignation. Zaza spent 8 hours in my garage. His work was unsatisfactory. - Weatherstripping was not finished; - For some reason the keypad was installed too high, which made it difficult to use; - Zaza damaged one of the wooden beams; - The screws used by Zaza to install the bottom retainer with rubber were longer than necessary and ended up sticking out on the other side. His work caused cracks on an expensive custom-made wooden door. That door was not new, but he could avoid causing additional damage. I've asked him why he used such long screws. He told me he had only that length. When I pointed out all the mistakes, Zaza yelled at me and my wife and called us "shitty clients that he had never met before". And he left with a proud look. Right after he left, the garage door refused to close. I don't know if it was a mere coincidence that the mechanism broke down after Zaza completed the work in the garage, or if Zaza had damaged it. On the next day after my email, a project manager from Dodds head office came to inspect the work. He had to acknowledge that I have every reason to be unhappy with the quality. A day later, Dodds sent a professional master technician. He managed to fix almost all the problems caused by Zaza (except for the holes in the front door that remained after replacing the long screws, and height level of the keypad). So, generally speaking, you can deal with Dodds, but only as long as the work is not done by the man by the name of Zaza, and only after you get a written detailed quote with itemized prices.
