The woman who helped me (I'm kicking myself for not catching her name) was absolutely WONDERFUL. I can't stress that enough. I was dealing with horrible altitude sickness and needed something to help with the nausea. She went above and beyond to help me find the right products, and as dramatic as it might sound for such a brief interaction, she genuinely restored a little of my faith in humanity. 10/10 for this shop and especially for the amazing woman who helped me. I visited DEN-REC twice over this last July 9th weekend. The first time I went, I purchased some 1:1 strawberry gummies. The next time I went, I purchased two more 1:1s to bring home with me. What I actually received was a 20:1 gummy, a 2:1 gummy, and a THC only gummy. WTF, how do you mess up an order like that. I originally asked for 2:1s, but they told me they didn't even have those in stock. I should have double checked I guess, but they make sure to wrap it up in a bag and staple it shut. A lady came out super rude yelling at us then tells me I need to put product I had got from another dispensary away. Multiple times I place an order online it says it's fulfilled and I show up and the item is unfulfilled not bagged up and out of stock. The bud tenders give me the runaround. Essentially they're throwing away their online ordering system. The bud tenders are very uninterested. It's a little more expensive than other dispensaries I love, but for the heart of Downtown Denver, the prices are completely reasonable. They always have several options of good quality flower, and they accept my Indie Card which is amazing. They don't carry my preferred concentrate but they have a couple of options for others looking. Their edible selection is not huge, but they carry most of the best products. The staff is always helpful and enthusiastic no matter what time of day you show up. I've brought several out of town visitors here because I know the staff will take the time to answer their questions professionally. Even my mom felt comfortable in the store, and she's usually not open to discussions about marijuana. I'll be coming back here as long as I'm living and working downtown. read more
