It didn't seem like there was much of a selection, but the price seemed reasonable. The front desk guy was SUPER friendly and welcoming! We wish he would have been the one to walk us through the process. Unfortunately though, the sales rep we got (Tiffany) was not very friendly or helpful. How have I not recommended this place yet?! Let me tell you, they are the best. I will start by saying, I know nothing about weed or edibles. Zeeeeero. I've never even been to a dispensary other than this one! But to be fair, that's because this one was so great. Why try another one?? They have I think 2 salesfolk in the room at any given time, and they only allow 2 parties (or maybe 2 people?) in at once. Seems like they go for a 1:1 ratio. (If there are already two people in there, you just sit tight in the waiting room.) And maaaaaybe this is normal. Maybe all dispensaries do that, or all dispensaries in Colorado. But their salespeople are really good! Like I say I know nothing about anything, and they never made me feel stupid. I even pronounced Indica in-DEE-ca, and they didn't even bat an eyelash. They just worked it graciously into conversation like everybody gets that wrong. Once I went in and said I wanted to buy up to my daily limit. And I said what I liked last time, and that I wanted to shoot for variety. They walked me through everything patiently like I was the only buyer alive. It was awesome. I can't speak for their actual pot selection. I go for edibles. They have lots of them! I'm a big fan of "Dialed In" gummies (full-spectrum, with QR codes to the lab results of that exact batch), Joybombs (like Skittles, and great every time), and 1906 New Highs drops (very innovative). If you're a newbie like me--'cause I think they're great for newbies--remember to bring cash! Or there's an app you can use, but cash is nice and easy. I tend to use local credit unions, and they never seem to integrate as easily with apps. read more

We found this place while searching for the highest rated dispensary in Denver. The reviews were not wrong! We are from a state where medical has been legal for some years, and rec just became legal recently. We were both looking for things to help with our issues, mine being my knee and back, and my wife's being fibromyalgia and a TBI. We were greeted and checked in by Elayna, she was super nice. It turned out that she was our budtender as well. She gave us an overview of what they had to offer and some.of the sale items. I explained my needs and was given plenty of options. Many of which I went with, in the form of edibles. My wife went with some different edibles and a flower strain to help with her problems. We picked out a lot of stuff, and usually, back.home, that means a big bill. Turns out that a lot of the stuff we chose was on sale, and we spent under $300. That two hundred something dollars got us a ton of high end edibles, a strawberry crunch bar, and an 1/8 of Ole Dirty Bastard. We were so pleased with the service and quality products we acquired. The shop was pretty, clean and organized. It's like they curate your purchases for you. I will say to download the payment app before you walk in. Cash is always the best answer. This used to be my favorite shop. You could rely on them to curate a great selection and be happy with anything they have in stock. That has changed over the past 2 years, they have stopped paying attention. Most of their stock is Veritas, which was great 2 years ago. Now its disgusting and unsmokable. They still carry it and still try to sell it to you, but now its disgusting garbage so its like they are playing make believe on their customers. Same story with cherry, quality fell off a cliff and they still try to sell you the stuff. Selling brands that used to be good is one thing, but they started carrying new brands that are absolutely garbage, and are deceptive about it. They tricked me into buying a 50 dollar bag of vera weed by saying the brand is "reserve" and never mentioning its actually vera. Truly disgusting weed that I threw into the garbage. Even if I wanted Vera its available down the street for 15 dollars an 8th. I would not touch Vera for ANY price, its gross. Can't believe they tricked me into buying Vera for 50 dollars! I emailed them about this but they ignored me. The only thing Simply Pure carries that isn't disgusting garbage is green dot and 710, but stock is sporadic and prices are high. read more

This was my first time in a dispensary, like ever. I'm so happy Yelp brought me here during our quick stay in Denver. For those of you who don't know how this whole "recreational" dispensary thing works (like me) here's how it went. We were greater by a very sweet and fun receptionist (wish I remembered her name). She asked if we'd been there before and asked for our IDs. She gave us a quick background on the shop, first black owned dispensary in Denver, which I thought was pretty cool. We were then asked to wait while we were allowed in the back. The wait didn't seem long since you can read about the story of the owners and look at their monthly products. We were then allowed in the back. There are three counters each of them has their own "bud"-ologist. We had a very knowledgeable girl (wish I remembered her name too) and she quickly helped us choose something we like. THEY DO NOT TAKE CARDS, that's the only thing I wish I had known. They do have an ATM machine with a $3.50 charge so just bring cash. I will say that I was very happy with the products and will stop by once more before we leave tomorrow! read more

Before I tell you how amazing this place is--let me set the context. I visited this place TWICE in my four day stay in Denver. The second time the same employee helped me and was an awful sport. Slammed product down, had an attitude, mumbled, sounded annoyed when we repeated questions or asked for clarity, and if you're not familiar with the amazing products you'll want to ask questions. Denver is a craft market--everything and everyone is proud of their product and wants to tell you all about it and how it's made--except this employee. The sad part is, this is a black owned business. I came here on day 1 and was blown away by the products, the story, the civil rights and justice conversation that the owners are keyed in on. And on day one the staff was great! On day two the exact same employee was miserable. Made me want to not buy the items, but it was the best product in town so I sucked it up and handed over my cash. Not a fun feeling when the employee was so unkind. Anyway, this is a must go to place. It's so cute. So clean. Feels very feminine but was packed with guys coming in and out and looking for some peace and quiet in the very bro scene Denver has become. Please support this business!
