I went to Denver Mattress looking to purchase some replacement parts so that I could set up my bed. Upon hearing what happened. When he was unable to find any extra sets, he scoured the back warehouse to piecemeal together the necessary parts and he even found a spare remote. Our 10 year old Doctor's Choice Denver Mattress held up well but needed to be replaced. After checking out another furniture store's supposedly fabulous, ($900.00 OFF!) President's day sale where we could only afford their cheapest mattress, we landed up again at Denver Mattress. Antwone was friendly and knowledgeable about the options. The store has a large selection to choose from and compare. Of course, the prices have increased from 10 years ago but were a bit less shocking than the other store. We purchased another Drs. Choice for basically the same price as the low end mattress elsewhere. We hope it will hold up and be as comfortable as our previous one. Thanks Antwone, for your help. We appreciate it! read more

Ugh, where do I begin? You actually have a bed my husband liked but my GOD the salesman was something else. Very nice but hyped on something, I mean it was exhausting, he didn't listen, talked over us, I honestly was wondering if it was a substance causing this behavior. Yes, I have a name but won't post it. We went from being shown 5K beds to being offered beds others have slept on at a discount. Also, in order to get a warranty you have to buy a covering? What's with that. Based upon our experience and other reviews I guess not buying something that day was a good decision. Oh and you are getting rid of Casper brand but don't know why or what you will be bringing in? Makes buying one from you questionable if we were to have any issues. read more

Had to leave. I listened to the salesperson fine. I was polite. As we looked around I realized that she would not allow me to speak to my teenage daughter about her opinions about the mattresses. I literally could not have a conversation with my daughter who was with me. Every time I asked her a question the saleswoman would answer instead. I finally had to just leave. I don't think they realize what odd behavior this is. I come in to shop for a mattress, not to have someone tell me what mattress I'm allowed to buy. I'm fine with opinions from employees, but that's mentally unstable. Also, don't even try to sell me on some ten year warranty I don't want or need and we both know you're going to get mad about if I try to use it. What a weird place. I went to three other places to look at mattresses that day, no such problems. It's just a mattress, jeez. I'm almost fifty years old, I don't need some twenty-something strange person lecturing me about a damn mattress. Walked in to replace a 3 week old mattress that turned out to be too soft. Told Joe about my back problems and he took me to what he thought would be best. Then I walked around trying other mattresses and kept going back to his suggestion. After an hour of testing, Joe wrote me up exchanging the soft mattress for the mattress he had recommended. I paid the difference in prices, the delivery fee and anxiously await the new mattress. Oh yeah, bought the Purple brand pillow I had tried when testing mattresses. I wanted the same feel I had in the store, and realized it could only be with the things I tested. Suggestion: bring the pillow you want to use when testing mattresses. read more

Went shopping 10 days ago for mattress. I was told by salesperson that they were having a "customer appreciation" sale and that savings would be 30 - 40% and that if I waited I could get the mattress I wanted for the price I was looking to spend. Went back during the "big" sale yesterday to find the actual discount was only 3% -- yes that is THREE%, not a typo -- off a higher priced base price than last week! The total cost was significantly higher than what I wanted to spend. I was very disappointed to say the least. I took my grandfather in to buy a new mattress, the two men didn't greet us. The younger husky employee was sitting in a massage chair, shoes off on his cell phone. The older bugged employee was standing around unhelpful. When we picked a mattress the cranky old man sat behind his desk, he never made eye contact, or engaged in any type of conversation. He was rude, unhelpful and disrespectful by treating us as if he was bothered that he had to do any work. Customer service should be important. I had lost the most comfortable mattress set I purchased and owned for 10 years from Denver Mattress in a home foreclosure. Jesse happily greeted me at the door and I told him I was hoping to replace it, but that I couldn't remember the manufacturer. After some searching, he found my previous order archived in their computer, and informed me they still carried it. I was in and out in 30 minutes and was delivered the next day. I couldn't be more thrilled to have my bed again.They were the only bright spot in the awful process of home foreclosure, and grateful to no longer sleep on the floor! My husband and I went in to redeem our mattress warranty. We walked in and looked around for about 20 minutes waiting for someone to help us. Finally I asked one of the salesman to help. We explained about our warranty he looked up my information in the computer and said that our warranty was only good for 10 years. My husband explained that we were told it was for 15 years and Joe printed out a piece of paper saying 10 years. My husband and I went home and pulled our warranty and sure enough it was 15 years. So we had to drive back and show him the warranty he wanted to have us believe was only 10 years was indeed 15 years. He had lied to us. We then told him we wanted the same mattress we already had. He responded where are the pictures of your old mattres so once again we had to go back home. Not only did Joe lie to us now he was giving us the run around. Me and my husband are moving to a bigger home in a month and I will sleep on the floor before I do business with Denver Mattress again. Customer service is atrocious. read more

We went in today and from the moment we walked in, the two salesmen, Joe and Michael were very rude, unhelpful and didn't want to give us the deal Justin told us we would get. We left to get out copy of our printout Justin gave us. When we returned, 45 min later, the copy of our printout was magically found. My husband and I went in for a box spring this past Friday 8/19/16. We asked the first staff member we saw and he said he wasn't sure if he had any and would go check his inventory (how a mattress store might not have box springs is beyond me). After perusing the floor for a while a second staff member asked if we had been helped. I told him the first guy was checking on box springs for us and he said he was sent to help us. He showed us the first mattress in front of us and said this is all I have. It was a split queen and a brand we didn't want as we had something similar and weren't happy with it. I asked if he was sure that there was not any others preferably a Tempurpedic. He said this is all I have on clearance. The guy actually looked us up and down and said the Tempurpedics are starting at $500. I'm very disappointed in the customer service at this store. First off the first guy did not even want to come back to talk to us. The second guy pushed clearance items when we never asked for clearance items. We had done our research prior to shopping and knew a Tempurpedic box spring can be expensive but there are some out there for less than $500. We ended up driving down Menual to The Mattress Firm where the customer service was like night and day. The staff at The Mattress Firm was friendly knowledgeable and sold us a box spring withing a few minutes, showing a wide range of products from clearance to the most expensive without assuming our price point. We found a Tempurpedic there for much less than we were quoted at Denver Mattress. I will not be recommending Denver Mattress to anyone I know. read more

After receiving our order we were missing our mattress covers were missing. Made phone calls and were told that they would be in the next day. No call nothing went in to the store one guy just told us they were on a truck on the way. Lorenzo noticed we were there and asked us if we needed help we told him the problem and got us better covers for a few more dollars that is great customer service we will work with him again read more

I called the store from out-of-state and had ordered and paid for a mattress and frame to be picked up when I got into town. I was assured that my items would be there on the day I arrived; however, when I arrived at the store, I got a different story. I was told the items were "in transit" and wouldn't be in until 4 days later! Miraculously, after becoming highly agitated and complaining, the items were found and I was on my way. Also, to temper my disappointment in the service, or lack of, I was given a 50% discount on a mattress cover. I would have rather not had gotten irritated over the incident and cause a scene in order to get the items that were paid for and promised to be there. read more

I had a Sealy that lasted me 20 years. But Knew it was time to replace. Around 2007 - 2008 We purchased a mattress from Denver Mattress. Within in a couple of years, my mattress was sagging, indented. I called Denver mattress and I was able to exchange my mattress. I paid more for it because I was upgrading. I did not want to have the same issues. After a years or so, my mattress was so bad, the indention was over an inch deep. I called again, I went there picked another mattress up. I wanted a Sealy as that's the one I wanted back in 2008 and they didn't have. I picked another brand, didn't want the same issues. This time I got a Serta, I had to pay more for this mattress, as it was another upgrade. This mattress lasted me three years. The indentions are bad. I'm telling you, I turn my mattress every 30 days. Without fail. At the end of the month, the closest day to the 30 or 31st and I turn my Mattress. So I shouldn't have these issues. So I called last week and spoke to a guy by the name of Joe, I think not sure. My warranty is up. They go by the day you first bought your original mattress. I went through 3 mattresses in ten years. Not a one lasted a ten year time period. What I should have done is purchased a New one. I paid up each and everytime. So It was like buying a new one anyway. They got me. This joe told me he would see if he could help me and he has yet to call me back. I'm sure he won't. Called Serta and all they could tell me is I had to go by the Denver Mattress warranty. I wouldn't go back to Denver Mattress. People are better off going and buying a reasonable mattress somewhere and keep buying one every couple of years. They aren't going to last. The warranty doesn't mean a thing. read more

We've gone through two mattresses very quickly from this place -- they were either sagging or had the top piece sliding to one side after a couple of years. The fist time we replaced the mattress, it was pretty straightforward and hassle-free. The second time, however, the rep was downright rude to us and acted suspicious of our motives. They had apparently changed the terms of their warranties in the last 2 years, and he wanted to follow the newly worded warranty instead of the one we had. After some more hedging and calling his manager, the rep finally agreed to let us exchange the mattress under our existing warranty. However, he initially didn't want to let us get a cheaper mattress than the one we had (huh?). After more chatting with the manager, he finally agreed. At the end he said we were back on our original warranty from a few years ago, which mostly seemed like a nasty way to ensure that we wouldn't be pulling such nonsense again. What horrible customer service! We got what we needed, but the service was extremely poor. read more
