stayed here may 4th-8th on a work trip pros: extremely comfy bed, spacious and clean gym, microwaves available downstairs in the common area, great location not a lot of bells and whistles to this hotel, the room was very standard (2 queen bedroom). i felt like the bathroom wasnt very spacious even for one person. im only 5'2" and the bathroom ceilings were very close to me. bed sheets and towels did not feel clean nor crisp lotion that the hotel carries is trash! felt very watery. i was having trouble adjusting to the higher altitude so i felt very dry and dehydrated. the lotion did not help with it at all all in all if im in town again i wouldnt book this hotel again as it didnt leave a lasting impression read more

Safety tip. There isn't a bathmat in the shower. So place a smaller towel down to protect against slipping in the tub. Expensive, yes, but if within your budget, an absolutely lovely hotel. HVAC that works really great. Comfy beds. Great towels. Plenty of space in the suites like this one (505). We would stay here again, budget allowing. Loved our stay. Our group catered a buffet and I thought the food provided to be very good. Including the desserts. Coffee shop in lobby ( though it is Starbucks over roasted charcoal water, but still...) the Marriott provided coffee is by Colombe and it is very good. No laundry machines on premises, if you need a place with laundry machines. Great, super friendly staff. About a $35 Uber ride to downtown. read more

On a recent cross-country trip we stopped at this hotel. We were quickly greeted in the Bonvoy Elite Line. There was a burst pipe in the bar/restaurant, so there was no food service, but the hotel was beautiful and filled with amenities. read more

3/20-22/26- renewing my one star review. I have been attending events here for over 20 years. Everything from Starfest, to gem & mineral shows, to anime cons. Ever since the remodel their ideas of customer service took a massive dive. Now they have a new policy where you can't bring in outside food. No matter what they say, this is a new policy. Like I said before, I have been going to this hotel for more then 20 years and rating them for at least the last 5. So yes this is new and it is bad customer service. All the leadership for this hotel needs fired, and they need to get new people in that care about customer service. They keep this up and events will leave and new events will know not to waste their time here. read more

Great hotel and perfect venue for small conferences. From catering to AV needs this hotel really has you covered and as far as convenience and location go, this place was pretty on point. I felt like the staff actually cared for your experience; like the dude cooking up fresh complimentary Denver dogs next to the check-in counters and the check-in staff that was super nice and helpful. If I were on a conference booking events management team for an organization I would definitely keep this on my list of favorites. read more

This is a standard Marriot hotel. I was here for some meetings and the hotel was adequate. The room was just ok, they do need to quality control the room service though. The towels were stuffed into the holding area and not folded and the cleaning crew walked in when I was in the room without knocking. The gym was above average and so was the restaurant. read more

Great service, love that the workout room has Pelotons--but they don't have earbuds for the machines. The window shades (mentioned in other reviews) are semi-transparent so people can look in--especially because the balcony was shared! It also made me wake up early the first morning, not realizing what they were like. They host conferences and this can be annoying if you're there not for the conference being held there. Ubers also kept canceling on me here so they took time to call one. This was a good location for my work conference located at Microsoft, but the area is very car-dependent and not very pedestrian-friendly. I'm surprised to see this hotel has so many bad reviews. The hotel is very modern, open, and clean. I love the aesthetic and vibe which is why I come back. The member lounge is very nice and has a lot of natural light. The member lounge food is not the best but they have sodas water and snack which is convenient. Rooms are clean and big. I personally love the beds and lighting. It's always been super clean when I've gone. Parking is a very annoying (you have to pay $15/night). Best to use the side door near the member lounge. After coming to this hotel for many a convention I finally had the chance to stay here. We were in Denver for a work thing and this was the hotel the company us up in. First, the common areas of this hotel are very updated and nice. Open and flowing. The parking lot is huge, but it is gated and you will have to pay to park or be a hotel guest with a room key to get in and out. While we did not eat at the hotel restaurant, many people said it was good. We actually walked over to Shannahan's which is just a parking lot over (so that was a plus). We stayed in a King room with a view of the atrium/restaurant. It looked well kept, but the bed was so-so. Honestly, they put us in the "sprinkler control" room (literally there was locked closet in the room) and I wondered if not many people stay there because the bedding was terrible. The duvet/comforter was falling apart and was a bit too small for the bed. So that was not great and of course we didn't realize until late in the night. The clock in the room blinked 12:00 and could not be reset - so we unplugged it. Then there was the shower, which took 3-5 minutes to even get kind of warmish and the water pressure was non existent. All we really needed was place to sleep and shower and on both these counts it kind of lacked. It was fine, but I think we will try elsewhere next time. My fiancé and I stayed here last weekend for his birthday, we flew in from Texas. We checked in on a Friday, and checked out on Sunday. From the looks of it the room was fairly clean however, we took a nap and one woke up with small, itchy, red bumps on my legs. I'm certain there were bed bugs in our room. Torn here with this stay. I'm an elite Marriot member. I went here from living in Denver and knowing other business colleagues staying here before, knowing the area and being a fan of Marriott overall. But when I ended up needing to stay here as an out of towner, it was a bit disappointing. The rooms have nice updates over all and were clean, but a lot lacking on overall hotel management and details. A major aggravation is that they charge for parking here, which I booked through a travel company not directly through Marriott or this hotel, and the front desk response is that the info is on their website so FYI. This area is not what would be expected for that charge and feels underhanded as the lot isn't even secured or covered parking; it is just gated to control drive in access. Insult to injury, system didn't work to let me in the parking as it was supposed to, where I had to wiggle back out around line of cars to get back to front desk to get it worked out. Checked in on the app earlier on my arrival date, and even though I had called and checked that my online check in went through and all was OK for me showing up later, when I showed up later in the evening in person, I was told they oversold the rooms and couldn't provide the room I booked. Ended up stuck with a terrible room with a window to the roof HVAC, right up against it. Not sure what the point was for checking in on the app prior to my arrival. ???? I was told there were only two rooms left, with the second room they tried to put me in not having working AC, so they offered to reach out to another hotel Marriot property close by to see if they could put me in a room there, but it would not be for the rate I booked, and I would have to shuffle between two hotels over my 2 night stay; miraculously they found another room to put me in after the manager "opened" more rooms, but it was exact same situation of being windowed right up to their roof HVAC, just down from the initial room. & this was after I had said, "I just want a quite room where the AC works." At this point I took the room after a long day of travel. Regarding the in room AC, it turns out, ALL of their rooms have this new configuration hotels are going to where you can adjust the temp, but not the fan. It took forever for the room to actually get cool, but it slowly worked. Hospitality is all the little things. The in room coffee was all decaf. The bottled water had a tag for $5 specifically for "Aspen water," & "charged upon consumption," but then one bottle with the tag on it was some other brand no where near same level of the Aspen Brand. Called the front desk to get some regular coffee for the room, and someone hung up the phone without saying hello. Called back and reached someone to get regular coffee, and house keeping brought me more decaf. Shower faucet dial wasn't correctly installed but it worked. Oh and FYI - you can ask the front desk for some regular bottled water for free. It was never offered to me at check-in, but someone else happened to walk up while I was trying to get a room, and asked. The front desk agent I checked in with, did seem to be trying but the lack of insight of putting me right back in another room exactly like the first one, no awareness or acknowledgement of it up front, was very frustrating They did offer to comp one of my evenings for all of the hassle, which upon check out, found out that she did not follow through with that. The check out agent made that right and added additional comp of the parking. read more

Not worth the money as there are other Bonvoy options nearby. As a member with status, I certainly was not treated like one upon checking in. I basically had to ask her for my benefits (like Club access, and optional room upgrade), one by one, and she appeared annoyed. Very unpleasant to have traveled for hours to be unwelcomed by the hotel front desk, and make me feel like she's doing me a favor. The lobby is nice, and so is the Club house. But the room itself was old. The mattress and pillows are too soft. It's personal preference of course, but I had to double up my pillows to elevate my head. Water pressure was also low. Lastly, I was doing some work at the Club house with my back facing the dining area. The staff touched my shoulder to ask if everything is ok? It was a nice feature but the sudden touch was unexpected. The staff had a weird vibe all around. read more

The location of the hotel is outside of downtown. Parking is $15 daily. We parked on the side, which is more convenient to the elevators. There is also a M Club Lounge, but it was closed during the days/hours we were there. We did get to enjoy the complimentary breakfast at the on site restaurant- Pint Brothers. This is a very good hotel if you are visiting the area, it's literally on-stop shopping. The hotel is extremely large, and has a large restaurant, bar, fitness center and numerous banquet rooms on the premise. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were very clean in spacious. I stayed in a king room, which had a full sectional sofa to lounge around. My only drawback is the hotel parking was a little pricey, but overall this was a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

I'll preface this review in noting that I'm a Hilton diamond member and silver elite with Marriott. I have stayed in a Courtyard recently in Dallas, and needed to stay at a Marriott here in Denver. Here are the highlights: ~ Hotel: Really good looking hotel -- I liked the lobby area, every thing seemed to be modern and clean looking. I didn't really take advantage the of amenities such as the pool, fitness center, etc., but it seems like the hotel had good ones available. ~ Room: I stayed on the north-end of the hotel. I didn't realize until later on that there are two sides of the hotel of where people can stay. My room did have a view of the mountains, which was breathtaking and a beautiful site. I didn't get a photo of it because it wouldn't do it justice. The interior design is interesting -- see attached photo. The bed was comfortable, though. On the temperature side, there's certain thermostats I just don't like (ones where the fan will go on with a loud noise, be a constant sound for awhile, and then will go off with a loud noise) and this hotel has that one -- It interrupts sleep, and is not an ideal system. I did get to see a larger noteworthy room that the top elite members get to stay in on the south-end, which had an L-shaped couch, a dining room table that can seat 6 people, and could turn the TV different ways depending on where you are sitting -- that was pretty much the extent of the differences from what I could tell to a normal room, but was pretty cool to see nevertheless. ~ Wi-Fi: I don't even know where to begin with this -- they give you instructions on how to connect, and if you're a rewards member of Marriott, you first have to connect to the guest Wi-Fi, enter your room and name, connect by saying you accept the charge, and then you have to call the front desk to make sure you're not charged? What an awful system that is... Never in my hotel experience have I ever endured such a system. ~ Parking: I despise hotels that charge for parking when it's not necessary (which I think is all the time). It's $15 per night. You want to make sure you explicitly tell the front desk to tie your key card to the parking system so you don't have to pay each time; otherwise, you won't be let out. It's not easy to see as there's no instructions on the parking kiosk, but you have to place your card near the red dot to activate the gate. ~ Service: I checked in around midnight, and the staff were friendly; one offered me a water, which was nice of them to do. They all were helpful, but as I mentioned previously, because I thought my key card was tied to the parking system (based on what the front desk customer service rep told me when I checked in), it didn't work when I tried to go out the first day, which was frustrating. So I had to explicitly tell them. Similar to the Wi-Fi and the cleaning of the room -- Sorry, but I don't want to explicitly ask -- that's not something a customer should have to do; it should just be expected as part of the stay. read more

Our 3-day stay for a friend's wedding at the Denver Marriott Tech Center was fine, nothing impressive. The building is old, and while the greater communal areas are updated, there are several signs pointing to the structure's age throughout the rooms. Low ACT ceilings in the bathroom, lackluster AC, and a shower that consistently struggled to get warm. All of these items are easy to get past for a bargain price if you're able to lock that it, but still annoying all the same. My main gripe was the lack of complimentary services throughout the hotel. No complimentary breakfast or coffee, only an unimpressive market to buy snacks. No free parking options onsite, just a steep $18/day that was not stated during my stay until the charge arrived on my card the following week. This led to a frustrating experience that would encourage me to consider other options in the area for my next stay. I would only recommend this location if you found a worthwhile discount. read more

Only complaints are that the bathrooms are very tiny, and they charge $15 per night for parking. I expect to pay for parking when I am in New Orleans or San Francisco, but not the suburbs of Denver. Great open hotel near the city - but in the fashionable Englewood. This is perfectly located for the office parks, data centers and that massive mall nearby. It has a HUGE conference center. The "NEW" and "OLD" section is divided by the conference center. It is quiet, parking is sufficient and safe. Bar is big and open. Typical bar food in the open atrium area. The Elite lounge is pretty good. On the ground floor, which is convenient. Two of my favorite things about this hotel are the gym & pool and the convenience store. I usually don't work out too often when on travel - which is a problem - but this gym is more inviting and large enough to make me want to work out. The convenience store is pretty cool with lots of souvenirs from Denver or Colorado. Writing this review makes me want to go back soon! read more

The Denver Marriott Tech Center is a lovely modern hotel conveniently located right off the I-25 freeway. The property itself has many places to eat, and relax. The hotel rooms are very modern and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here one weekend for a Christmas party that was held here. The WiFi is $15 a night, but if you're a Bonvoy member, the WiFi charge is waived at checkout. All of the interactions with all staff members here were very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel if your visiting Denver and don't want to stay in downtown. read more

I have been a loyal customer staying here at least once per month. It's a lovely hotel and the front desk staff are super professional but someone has to do something with the "hospitality" part. I ordered room service and the gentleman said he will charge me extra to get it delivered to my room. Kinda defeats the room service purpose. He said he'll leave it at the front desk for no extra fee and they will call me when it's ready. Ok. 45 mins later still no call. I went downstairs and the food was sitting there. When I got to my room, the food was dead cold and no water. When I called "At your service" the lady offered replace the order or send up a microwave to heat it up. Seriously. At this point I'm just ready to hang up. I told her to just send in the bottles of water. It's been 45 minutes since I hung up. Still no water. Valet Parking also went up to $25 per night from $20 a few days ago. Sadly this just might be the last time I'm staying at this hotel. read more

So if I could grade this hotel for their event hosting, I'd give them an A-. The Taste of Englewood was a festive get together. Their staff was courteous and helped direct us to the event (signage was visible too). The only downside is parking where, unless you valet, guests are found to be parking across the street (watch the traffic crossing the road). Now for the event itself, I sprung for VIP and it was nice to have early access but noticed that G.A. attendees were already participating. (Ya!) There were no unique wines to sample in VIP because they were the same in the GA area. In fact, the GA vendors were plentiful and kept attendees moving thru the lines very efficiently whereas VIP had lines (waiting 2-8 minutes for service). The food offerings were fantastic and the entertainment, well, entertaining. I would go to the event again, just pass on VIP. read more

I booked online with Marriott. They gave me an average cost per night of $197. It ended up being an average of $269! On top of that, they charge $15 per night to park in their lot! Then they charge you 14.95 per night for wifi, regardless whether you use it or not. I called the Operations Manager 3 times and he never called back. I like Marriotts over many other chains but this Tech Center location is not their finest example. On the positive side, it is staffed by a super group of people. Friendly and knowledgeable about their work, you can see them greeting returning guests like they are old friends. That's great and if you have frequent biz in the Tech Center it may be enough. The rooms and restaurant are mediocre though. Again, the restaurant has a great staff of friendly and well trained people who deliver food on time and with a smile. The food though is tasteless. I can't imagine how they accomplished this without being on a space station. I had a diner and a breakfast here and can't say I didn't like the food but it wasn't noteworthy. Still, I observed again returning patrons being treated like old friends so maybe it's just me. The rooms are also bland. Favoring earth tones and spartan furniture it feels like I should be in in hobbit home. There is wifi at $17 night (free if you are a Gold member) and your basic TV. The bed had one sheet and blanket which was to light for the cold Denver night. The heating system swayed 10F so one point it is 65F and then the heat kicks on and it's 75F. The facilities for conferences are fantastic and make this location fine and a economical choice for small conferences or training. Also there are several good restaurants that are a short Ride away so you don't have to eat at the hotel. read more

I'm not one to complain or be unrealistic but when you find dorito chip debri, a used toothpick, and copious amounts of food particles in your 'freshly cleaned' room things get a little questionable.... Number one complaint I read in these yelp reviews was CLEANLINESS ISSUES! Please corporate do better. Pay your sanitation people better, inservice, hire more staff, and do random walk throughs. We've really enjoyed our stay here. We are in town visiting friends and family. The majority of the guests here seem to be here on business and the hotel is in the middle of a business park. It's a little off the beaten path and not in walking distance to anything, but that also makes for a very relaxing and quiet hotel. We did have some pretty major issues on our first night but the night manager made things right and truly seemed to care. We stayed in a king, balcony, high floor room and although the room was a little on the smaller side it still had everything you need and was very clean with modern furniture. We are platinum elite members and the M Lounge is beautiful. It's kept fully stocked and the attendees are friendly. Room service was prompt. They do charge a $5 fee to deliver to your room but I've never stayed anywhere that didn't charge a room service fee so that's pretty standard. The food was quite good. We had a few drinks in the bar one night, fast and friendly bartenders. I really don't have anything negative to say about this hotel. read more
