It was very busy the night we went, but that wasn't an issue since you reserve your space ahead of time. We did both axe throwing and a bay rental for an hour. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). And even though I called it a golf bay there are TONS of options to play. The food and drinks (which you can order through a QR code) are also great. We had some wings and they were delicious. It took us a little longer than 30 minutes to get through 9 holes, but for $14 a game it was nice to get a taste of what it was like. I would absolutely return, and plan to take advantage of their $25 play all day deal, and also their happy hour. This is not your usual putt putt place. Everything is electronic, and your ball has a microchip in it, so it tracks your score. This was awesome for me, as sometimes it didn't record my strokes and gave me a slight advantage, although I still lost. There are screens that tell you what to do, and hazards or super tubes that if you have decent aim, can benefit you greatly. Our favorite was the pac man and Tetris themed holes. They also had a skeeball hole that was fun as well. This is great for a date night- I will be back for sure!

Great indoor activity. Fairly empty inside. Perfect evening. Prices are steep for parking and admission. It's a one and done activity for us. But it was worth the experience! We spent almost two hours there, taking our time to admire and learn. We really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful sea creatures - all varieties of fish large and small, sharks, jellyfish, stingrays (which you can pet at the end), two random tigers (not expecting that at an aquarium), turtles, snakes, lizards, frogs, etc. Only negative from our outing was the guy in the ticket booth. We brought out of town friends with us and it was freezing outside. He could see that we had kids and were all super cold. It would've been kind if he had said we could just go inside and wait for the husbands to come in with the wrist bands. As it turns out we just ran inside anyway to wait for them, but not very good customer service.

But when you come in the summer it will still look the same. A removable heated tent will be erected inside and heated by geothermal heat from underneath that will be transferred underground from the dining hall kitchen's surplus stored energy. So modern in such an old structure. So when you visit this spring there is a lot of truck traffic and digging and detours around the building but you can see from the last picture, the green and the view of the Flatirons are undisturbed.

Since we were first time…read morevisitors, we asked for a trail recommendation at the ranger station that fit in with our plans, so something in the 2-hr range. They suggested going in a counterclockwise direction which got the elevation gain done sooner and would finish with a more gradual descent. Being a sea-level creature, I did have to catch my breath a few times on the way up. Now, at the uppermost part of the loop after a bunch of stone steps, there were some all-rock areas where hunching down with a hand or two on the rock helped with balance. Afterward we noted signs on the trail allowing horses. They must have goat like abilities for those rocky parts, I thought. If you like seeing people, there were plenty during the early afternoon hours, sometimes making passing on narrow trail sections a little tricky. We got lucky with parking, going around the large grassy area only once. On the way out, we thanked the ranger for the great recommendation, gave up our parking spot to the next lucky person and went on our way, with plenty of time for our next activity.

It was so nice and warm outside. One side is for bikes and scooters and the other side of the creek is for pedestrians. There was no one loitering about. Signs saying no standing or sitting periodically. I started uptown and walked till the end there was a child or two and a few dogs playing in the water. The path ended near Union station. It did continue on west but I decided to have lunch and visit the next place on my list; international church of cannabis.

It seems like they are only open at night which is awesome because I love going to the park at night as it creates a whole new atmosphere that the day can't match from the sights and sounds you can't really go wrong with a night at the park! Lots of this park is very run down like it really needs some help which made me kinda sad but happy to see it's still in operation if I had the money I'd totally fix it up and keep it nostalgic to its roots like get the roller coaster going and what not! Wild Chipmunk alone was worth the trip here as you don't see many coasters like that being operational anywhere a true gem in the coaster world! Their train ride was awesome too takes you to the edge of the property around the lake making for a long fun ride that we totally loved! They offer all day wristbands or tickets since we only rode a few things we went with the tickets making for a bit of a saver for us money wise so just plan accordingly if you choose this path! Overall this park is awesome I'd love to see it get the love and respect it deserves as I can tell this is a very valuable asset to this community and I hope to come back here again at some point because this truly is up there with my favorite parks I've ever been to straight up a vibe here the whole time!

They have all these cute Alice in Wonderland sculptures and everyone working there was very friendly. They have lots of comfortable seats and people also just hung out on the grass. They had a bar and you could bring in your own food. It was a wonderful way to spend a summer evening.
