Looooooooooooove them! I've been a regular for 2 years now. The ONLY way to experience Denver Cruisers is to come out for a ride.

They also offer up ping pong tables and axe throwing - so go ahead and try something new! ++ The fine folks at OverFlyte offer up a drool-worthy table-side food and drink menu. We sipped and noshed on all the things. I opted for FlyteCo Mules and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Delish! OverFlyte Denver def helped us beat the bitter cold blues. The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to ensure that everything is explained and you are set up to have a good time. It was very busy the night we went, but that wasn't an issue since you reserve your space ahead of time. We did both axe throwing and a bay rental for an hour. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). And even though I called it a golf bay there are TONS of options to play. The food and drinks (which you can order through a QR code) are also great. We had some wings and they were delicious. TL:DR - an awesome option for a night out with built in activities

Was very shocked to find tigers that are like most people reviewed. A lot of really cool fish. The restaurant was overall a good experience. They did have a tiger, which was definitely unexpected and cool to see. We also got a caricature done, which ended up being one of the best parts of the visit. A colored face-only drawing for two people was $30. It was listed as a 10-minute drawing, but it took closer to 30 minutes. The artist was really nice, though, and recommended we eat at the restaurant. we stopped at the gift shop and got some cute plushies before. Unfortunately, that's where the experience went downhill. We had a reservation and were seated around 6:20. We got Liz as our server. she was very sweet and one of the calmer servers on a busy night. otherwise service was very slow. We ordered the Herb-Roasted Salmon and the Coconut Shrimp. After waiting about 45 minutes, the manager came over to tell us they were out of the coconut shrimp and recommended the Shrimp Platter instead, so we went with that. The salmon tasted overly fishy, and the asparagus was undercooked, although the mashed potatoes were actually really good. As for the Shrimp Platter, the fried shrimp was mostly breading, the bacon-wrapped shrimp was just kind of strange, and the grilled shrimp was the only part we really enjoyed. The fries were good, but the beans and green beans weren't. It also took quite a while to get our check, and dinner ended up costing around $80. Overall, I'd skip the restaurant. The aquarium is worth checking out once, especially if you have young kids, but I probably wouldn't come back for another date night.

Our hike was extra special because it was led by Maria the Park Ranger. Maria's knowledge and passion for Chautauqua was incredible to witness. You can tell these mountains mean so much to her! We learned about the landscape, wildlife, Natives, and so much more. Our hike was simple but we saw so much along the way. The views of the flatirons are hard to beat. The path was busy but it was a beautiful saturday morning and it still didn't feel overly crowded. We saw lots of doggies, runners, and families and friends meeting for a morning hike to kick off their weekend. It was pure magic. I hope I get to come back one day!!

I'm a tourist and the like and I enjoyed it! We lucked into parking on a beautiful, busy Saturday morning. They have very nice restrooms at the Ranger station, and more overflow port a potties around if needed too. The nearby trail is highly accessible and it doesn't take long for some views to pay off. It's a decently steep incline, but nothing crazy at all. Once you're into the trees the shade helps against the thin air and the sun, and it's so quiet and serene. No mosquitoes like I'm used to back home. Loved all the birds (shoutout magpies) and also seeing everyones' dogs.

We accessed the trail at Larimer and 14th, walked to Confluence Park, and back for about a 3-mile round trip. The trail is wide, paved, and pleasant to walk. We didn't realize at first that one side is designated for pedestrians and the other for bikes and scooters, so we started on the wrong side. We figured it out quickly, although the access point we used could have been marked more clearly. We visited on a hot day, and this stretch of trail had very little shade. Since the trail sits below street level along the river, there wasn't much of a breeze either. Once we were on the pedestrian side, we felt comfortable walking our dog, although one scooter zipped past us much too fast. We also noticed a few homeless about, but we felt safe during our midday walk. Overall, it's a pleasant urban trail and a great way to enjoy the river while taking a break from the downtown crowds.

That being said, quite a few of the rides and games were clearly broken down and hadn't been touched in years. It's kind of sad that no one is putting any love into this place, and hasn't in a long time. But, it's clearly very popular! We paid $5 to walk around, which is absolutely worth it for the nostalgia. You have the option to pay for unlimited rides or you can buy individual tickets for the rides you want. Since most of the rides would have made me vomit at this age, I was happy to pay $2.50 for a train ride around the lake. Jerry, the guy running the train, was fantastic! He really seems to love his job and his enthusiasm is contagious. I did think it was odd that on the list of rules as you line up to pay, it says no photos are allowed. BIZARRE. I guess they don't want any photos getting out of a ride that's about to break down? Clearly people were ignoring it, as who doesn't want photos of your kids having a blast on the rides! I have mixed feelings about this place. CLEARLY, people love the nostalgia. What bothers me is the lack of love behind it.
