It was pricey. I paid $60 to repair a Bible binding, however it was done really well preserving a childhood Bible given to me by my parents. It was, also, complete several weeks before expected. I had stuck Silly Putty in the pages of my mom's beloved copy of Little Women as a child and thought it was ruined forever. I used their website to get a quote and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the work was. Then they finished the repair sooner than expected and did a fabulous job. My verdict: I will not give future business to Denver Bookbinding. Had an old beat up bible rebound. I am disappointed the pages were not properly aligned during binding. The spine is curved and, to make it worse, the last/end text block is noticeably uneven from the rest. (See posted pics.) On top of all that, the woman who took my order and bible gave me horrible service. I already have a premium quality bible (purchased new) and wanted a similar binding from this service. The woman had absolutely no patience for my questions about how they perform their binding and what sort of result I could expect. A day or two later, when I called for a follow-up question, the same woman was equally rude. On the flip side, 1) the woman who helped me when I arrived to make final payment and pick up the bible was quite nice and 2) as the rebinding is an anniversary gift for my parents, I am confident they will love their rebound bible. read more

After communicating with this company about what I wanted, I sent my materials in to be bound and never heard anything back from them. It has been months. I contact them weekly to ask for an update on the project and to confirm that they even received my materials at all-- nothing. The materials I sent in are not mine, and they are irreplaceable.
