Also, I thought it was weird that they offer gift cards for good reviews on review sites.

When I purchased the car I paid for the delivery to which it was supposed to be arriving 3 days after I bought it. But when I didn't get any response or update after 3 days. I called them to make sure my car was still coming, which they told me the car had not left their lot yet. They gave me a new update on delivery, which I think is weird, they should have told me about that before I paid for the delivery cost. I got my car a week later, and I then had to wait for my title and other paperwork to show up, which they did not tell me when would come. After a month of waiting, I called them because I didn't get any updates. They told me the paperwork had been sitting at the dealership for pickup! PICKUP?? Lmfao, to which I told them I needed delivered AGAIN. This company definitely needs to work on communication, although the vehicle showed up in good condition this caused a lot of stress to me because I had no verification or trust in the weeks I waited for my car. When purchasing the car I got told it when through a full inspection and the car was in good mechanical order. Well that was a lie! After driving the car for on two months. It started to have a slight hesitation when speeding up on the highway then that turned into an engine misfire. Then shortly after that, a knocking noise. So after looking over the car. I discovered that there bin a on going camshaft position sensor leak. I have installed photos of it. You might ask how is that related to a misfire. So when the camshaft position sensor start leaking oil on the M157 engine. The oil goes into the electrical connector and then through the hole engine wiring harness. I did look at the sensors before purchasing the vehicle, but they must've had clean the connector so you could not notice the oil leaking into the wiring harness. I know I bought the vehicle as is, but it really shady what they did and would like to warn others.

Within 24 hours of driving it off the lot the check engine light came on for TWO critical transmission failures. The codes were PO776 and P17F1 Judder code. Something the dealerships mechanics had to know about before the sale, but still proceed with the sale without any knowledge about it to me. I immediately took it to an independent, certified mechanic for a full system scan. According to the vehicle's permanent module data, these exact transmission codes were intentionally cleared before I signed the paperwork. This means the vehicle was sold with a known, un-repaired mechanical failure that was actively hidden from me during the test drive. I find this highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I have a terminally ill parent I take care of full-time as well as a 5 year old grandchild I help care for and a dog. This has now put their safety and mine in jeopardy all because this dealership cared more about the sale than the safety of the person buying. I work to hard for my money just to have a dealership do something so negligent. I am beyond upset, I'm furious and confused how the salesman Fira said he was a "straight shooter" but yet had the audacity to lie my face and put lives in danger! I'm suck without a car now due to being recommended not to drive the car as its deemed not safe. Now I have no way to and from work, no way to take my father to his weekly doctors appointments, and no way to transport my grandchild as needed. All real life stressful situations this dealership has caused my family and I. For the sake of your money and the safety of you and your familie, Please do NOT shop or buy a vehicle from this dealership!! Save your money, stress, and heartbreak.

If I could give Sam's zero stars then I would. The amount of deceit and unprofessionalism they…read moreexhibited was incredible. They consistently avoided specific questions I asked and then didn't bother to tell me the car was a TMU (True Mileage Unknown) vehicle until we were 45 min down the road from out of town. The car was filthy and disgusting. We had asked them to have it ready but their idea of ready was nothing close to what a professional business should produce. I had to ask for batteries to test a remote. My husband asked if they had any wiggle room on the price (because according to our extensive research and owning the same car for 12 years they were $4,000 over what it should be). The salesmen immediately got very upset and accused my husband of hurting his feelings. He kept saying how offended he was by my husband (as my husband shared why we believed the car was overpriced) and finished it off with, "Why don't you just punch me in the face and get it over with!". Who says that at all, let alone to a potential buyer who was not threatening him in any way?! No class whatsoever. We were so alarmed and disgusted that we left immediately. I am still shocked that even a crummy little lot like Sam's would behave in such a way. Also, it's a dirt lot with what is best described as a shack for an office. Stay away, at all costs!

We purchased a late model vehicle there recently. The buying experience was not bad. They are…read moresimilar to CarMax in that the price is the price. It's a no haggle car buying experience and we tend to like that better. The price we paid was reasonable, not dirt cheap but not high. The vehicle we purchased had extra-low miles and was in very good condition. The 3 stars given here are because of the positive nature of that part of our experience. Everything after the sale has been awful. There was one thing that needed to be repaired and they agreed to repair it as part of the sale but said they couldn't do it that day. Turns out they couldn't do for a month! Curious that their service department is that backed up. It was the hazard lights. The switch was either bad or disconnected and we were leaving the state on a road trip, so waiting a month wasn't an option. They decided to get a local Chevy dealership to do it because the vehicle still has full manufacturers warranty. That still had us waiting weeks and having to do it at a time that didn't really work for us. I picked up the phone and called the Chevy dealership a few blocks away from ClearShift and they were able to take us the next day. So we wound up dealing with that ourselves and are still not clear on why we could find next day service and they couldn't. Now it is 5 days until our dealer plate expires and we have not received anything to take to DMV to register and plate. Called the DMV; they have no record of a title application and told us to go back to the dealership, get a new dealer plate, and get a clear picture of why they haven't done this and when they plan to do it. Have called ClearShift more than once, before and after calling the DMV. Can't get a human in that department and nobody returns my calls. Tried texting; so far no response. I would have loved to give them 5 stars. The GM (or owner?) of the dealership was really nice to us, and very accommodating. We were impressed. The salesperson was nice and we didn't have any issues with her. We love the vehicle we purchased. They had good resources for financing. 5 stars was theirs to lose and they're busy losing it. It feels like now that they cannot make any more money off of us, we aren't important. Seems short-sighted. I still (cautiously) recommend them if the right vehicle is there for you. That's the only reason we went there--they had a hard to find truck we really wanted and it was exactly what we'd been seeking and were struggling to find. We truly love it and are not sorry we bought it. We are really frustrated with the very poor after purchase service.

The interaction started poorly; before even having my information or running a credit check, Shad began making critical, judgmental assumptions about my credit score and openly talking down about my nephew's credit. When I stopped him to question his tone, he immediately got defensive and claimed he "didn't mean to offend me." It wasn't about being offended--it was about a basic lack of customer respect. Things grew worse when I noted the vehicle was priced significantly higher than its actual market value. When I asked why it was priced so high, Shad completely ignored the question. Instead, he used aggressive, cliché car salesman tactics, claiming he had "another appointment later for the same car" and telling me the vehicle had been "getting a lot of attention" to force a high-pressure situation. Later, when I directly asked him if his behavior was standard for him, his reaction was completely unhinged. He threw a pen onto the counter and defensively snapped that none of his coworkers thought he was disrespectful and that he has plenty of positive reviews. When I asked if he thought throwing a pen and reacting emotionally was professional, he literally said "yes," and that he "wasn't just going to take it." An experienced professional accepts critical feedback with grace. Shad reacted with a volatile, emotional outburst. If I were buying a car for myself, I would have walked out immediately. I will never return to this dealership and strongly advise others to shop elsewhere. I would never buy a vehicle from Shad or recommend this dealership to anyone.
