And we don't know if they even included the pulley, the thermostat or new serpentine belt or the fan clutch, this gobbler didn't even say any of this was included. Gobbler means they will gobble your money. Skip this one! We haven't made up our minds yet on who to use or if the one we choose will do a good job but we won't be using this one. It should be made of gold for this price. We used to trust mastermind automotive in Benton TN but we can't get a hold of him to even get a quote. ugh! It should take depending on the tools they have and the experience they have ...40 minutes with an experienced mechanic and for inexperienced with regular tools, 3 hours. We have read and looked at all reviews n videos n pricing all over online. PriceGeek was the best prices for the parts but we found that OEM $? or ACDelco 266.00 or Gates $? or Moray( lifetime warranty) 180.00 are the best water pumps. This pump would be for a chevy 3500 van and don't even have to take the radiator out to get to it. Too many mechanics will only guarantee the pump they put in for 1 year n not even lifetime which is not right. Who wants to keep putting cheap water pumps in and cheap gaskets that cause it to leak too quickly and having to put them in over and over again? Get a good one with preferably a lifetime warranty the first time. It's too much money and too hard to do these jobs over and over again. Get Good gaskets! Get a Good pump in the first place! ...or you will be sorry. And get guaranteed lifetime labor! To charge over 1200.00 is a Total rip off! This is double what all the others charge. Just an extra Note: And the pump manufacturer this company gobbler uses wont give a warranty at all unless you have a full coolant flush with it they said. They did not say which water pump they use. Maybe they already know they will have to do it again n so they charge double just in case. If we weren't older then we could buy the pump ourselves n do it much cheaper. And some say they catch the coolant n reuse it if it's clean, but we wouldn't. 180.00-266.00 pump with pulley, 40.00 or less for the belt, 75.00 coolant n a few clamps. So for around 300.00 to 385.00 we could do it ourselves depending on whether we put on a new belt. So they are making around 800.00 for labor here. Shame Shame!

I asked them how much I had left on my brakes. They told me that I still had a little bit of time left before I would have to get new ones put on. I took my truck a week later to someone else and they let me see what my brakes looked like and come to find out Taylor Tires let me drive my truck without any brakes on the back and I had no brakes on passenger side. So the only brakes that I had was on drivers side and they were very very thin. How can you allow someone to drive off in their vehicle without any brakes. I could have been killed or injured. And I could have killed someone or injured someone if I had hit them. How can they sleep at night knowing that they did this. We took my husband's truck for an alignment and a variety of other services totaling over $1700. Within 500 miles, he had to buy new front end tires (another $600) due to the miscalculation of the alignment. We just bought these tires brand new on March 30th of this year. He also had to pay a different shop to do another, proper alignment, and we've had no issues with the truck since. When he called to tell Turner Tire about it, the woman who answered was very nice and told him to bring the truck in along with the paperwork from the shop that did the second alignment. He did that today and again, she was very nice. However, a man came out to speak with him and basically said too bad. It's the other shop's word against his and he won't do anything about it. So don't go here unless you like wasting money on services and want to buy new tires right after having an alignment. $700 down the drain is an expensive lesson for average people like us.

I carried my wife's vehicle in for an issue with alternator after getting all kinds of different opinions from the so called reputable place. I dropped it off and had my wife bring me back home. I got a call in about 1 hour telling me her vehicle was ready and when they gave me the price, I was more than excited, It was very reasonable! I carried my neighbors truck to them after the so called reputable place kept it for two weeks and said they couldnt find anything wrong with it and why it wouldnt start. WB's Auto repair had it diagnosed and repaired on less than a few hours. Not only has this place earned my business but also my neighbors. We were told Monday 3/2/2026 that the Intake Manifold Gasket was leaking so badly that they couldn't tell if there was another leak. We were quoted a price of $780 to fix that and the oil pressure sending unit. At this point we decided to pick the vehicle up. 3/4/2026 I called Lynn's shop today and yes I was upset about paying a large sum of money and having nothing but problems since. When I asked about if the rear main seal leak was ever fixed he said no, that they replaced the oil pan gasket. When I asked him about why we would be having a significant leak with the intake manifold gasket at only 17,000 miles after the swap he said and I quote "you should now about parts by now and how bad they can be" Did I raise my voice absolutely, as did he. When I asked him if his shop guaranteed their work and if so what he wanted to do to make it right he hung up. I immediately called back and heard Wendy say it's him again and he said to just hang up. Message received loud and clear Fyi, if they install a refurbished Advance Auto motor for you Advance Auto has no direct interest in the warranty of the motor as they are only the platform used to sell the 3rd party engine. Per Advance Auto Engine and Transmission Warranty Support: "It is their responsibility for fulfilling the warranty obligations. The shop that made the original purchase needs to speak directly with the manufacturer". Her truck was brought in on a few separate occasions to address the continual engine oil leak problem which was ultimately never corrected. I am just now stepping in to try to get this situation resolved.... Advice: keep records and get everything in writing when dealing with this shop.

They truly are there to provide honest, reliable service! Here's how they helped us. We haven't really needed a mechanic (which we are incredibly grateful for), but that meant we didn't know where to start when our car started starting unreliably. Upon advice from family and friends, we were convinced our starter was going bad. We went out and purchased a $330 starter. We are a one car family, so we needed that starter put on immediately. After calling several shops Monday morning, we didn't reach anyone. It was either Voicemail, or text us details and we will reach out to you. Lynn's was the first place where we got a human on the phone (Thanks Wendy!) They took us the next morning at an affordable rate. Lynn got to work right away and finished quite quickly. We went to start the car, and NOTHING. I was devastated. Lynn immediately went into investigative mode and soon found the issue. It was actually something much simpler that we didn't even need a mechanic if we had taken it to Lynn BEFORE we bought a starter we didn't need. What showed his true character was his willingness to help us get the new starter off and the old one back on, saving us $330.
