I found that Hans was terrific as a dentist and perfectionist at heart and always seeing the procedure through to a proper conclusion. I knew that I was in good hands with him. The team support too, was very good, they were both - friendly - and professional. The problem that I had with this office was on the management side of things; so much so, that I elected to lodge my concerns with the Alberta Dental Association. I informed the staff at 360 that I don't do business that way and moved on and in doing so, discovered a great office! I would suggest to any new patient going to any office, to ensure that you get a suggest that you get a treatment plan in writing prior to undergoing any treatment. That way, everyone is on the same page with less room for misunderstanding.

I have probably been a client at Northern Hills Dental for the past 7 years. I really have not a…read morebad thing to say about them and their service during most of the 7 years, except one time when one of the hygienists was quite 'rough' in the cleaning process that resulted in some pain during and after the appointment. Recently, however, I have noticed that they have been quite tardy in their appointment schedules. For the second time in recent memory, I have waited in excess of 35 minutes for my appointment (the first occurrence was much longer than 35 minutes), not including the time I waited before my scheduled appointment time (I always try to arrive early for my appointments). This defeated the purpose of me getting off work a half hour early so that I can get all dental work done before my following dinner commitment. I am not sure how often this happens at Northern Hills Dental but it has happened to me twice. If I were repeatedly late 30 minutes for my appointments, I am sure they would have told me to reschedule. I understand that there are sometimes circumstances that could have extended the appointment before me but that could have been avoided by properly estimating the amount of time it takes for each appointment. For example, extra time should be set aside for children dental appointment. I know that is the case with my toddler... it always takes longer than scheduled. I understand that the delay for them to see me was because they were in the middle of a procedure for a child that took longer than they had allowed for. However, this is the type of repeated experience that causes client to go elsewhere regardless of the reason.

I put natural polysporin on the spot and it healed within a week. 2)One tooth in front got a filling ....while they were checking my bite they took too much of the tooth off... now it's uneven compared to the other side. And make my two front teeth look like I have buck teeth /chipmunk. tooth was cut down too much. in the dentists defence--- Half of my mouth/face was frozen and shifted to the right due to my neuro-muscular response to freezing and any work /forced opening of my jaw (tmj and oa) done on my mouth/jaw-- it wasn't going to be a proper representation while frozen and I tried to explain that. I recommend Dr Patel for sure though and will be going back for the other side :)

When I came to Dr. Cottle's office, the entire experience was wonderful. Every one of the team are so friendly and kind. It's almost like they know visits to a dental office are nerve wracking for most. Dr. Cottle himself is an absolute treat, he'll keep you entertained with stories of his family or if you're in for a long haul, he might even sing along with his favorite songs on the radio. Most importantly though, he is always honest about your treatments. He makes sure he gives you all the options and which would likely be best for you, not which is best for his wallet. It's almost like he wants you to come back. Great team and if I have to have my teeth looked after, it's definitely going to be by Dr. Cottle.

My wife had an appointment today for a root canal for the 1st time in downtown location…read more Unfortunately we were half hour late trying to find parking and the dental office, we did call the dental office three/four times updating them that we're here and they were trying to give us directions etc, when we got to the office, Michelle had a murder face on and immediately attacked us saying that she didn't like my tone on the phone and that it was our fault for not finding their office even though no one blamed her that it was her fault? I of course got upset with the way how she treated us and right way started yelling at me threatening to call security and she goes like " you're lucky I'm working right now " I don't know what she meant by that? She was super rude and unprofessional, she kicked us out from the office. Half hour later I got a call from the manager apologizing for what happened and did try to rebook us to come back. But we were so hurt and shocked by what happened. We appreciated that but then I asked that she would at least compensate us for the time we wasted so she refused and said " we also lost two hours from our day " well it was your staffs fault for treating your first time clients like crap and she's the one that wasted your valuable 2 business hours, that could have been easily avoided had she been understanding that we were there already. But no! You just lost our business and we will stop going to the Northland Dental choice, our original office. I guess high end restaurants possess way better customer service than your Dental Offices, funny how that works, I'd expect the manager to do whatever best to retain our business but she was okay with me leaving this review regardless. How shame. We will be looking for other Dental offices. We don't recommend anyone visiting Dental Choice. Goodbye!
