The ideal patient I am not, having experienced the cruelty and ridicule of certain dental professionals. At Beltline Dental Care I have a new lease on teeth. The entire staff is kind, caring and attentive. Shelina always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. She does an excellent job and is always careful and gentle and non-intimidating. Dr. Lee is funny, kind and gentle as well. He is honest, non-judgmental and has a remarkable bedside manner. Although going to the dentist continues to be one of my least favorite experiences, I am committed to more regular maintenance and check-ups, thanks to the knowledge, expertise, and humanity of this team. For example I have receding gums and I always jump a mile through the roof when dental hygienists are cleaning my teeth and they hit a raw nerve but today I had an amazing cleaning with Angela who just went above and beyond and coated my receding gums with a highly technical new product that doesn't hurt or smell or taste at all but it protects me and made it a pain free cleaning. Boxing day, 2019, i suddenly had an abscessed tooth that was so incredibly painful that i could not…read morefunction. i called a local dentist whose website said that they deal with emergency situations. 2 days later they left me a message asking if i needed an appointment. (they would be booking after new years.) In the meantime, a long time patient of Westpointe suggested that I call. Within minutes I had a call back; they assessed the situation and offered to meet me at the office in approximately 30 minutes (it was the evening, and i'm willing to bet that i screwed up boxing day dinner pretty darned well). A Dentist and a Nurse met me exactly when they said they would. They took X-rays, were super kind and gentle, called in a prescription, booked me an appointment after the medication had time to take effect, gave me an antibacterial rinse and an new toothbrush, and then told me not to worry about the bill, that i'd hear from them after new years. I worried my self sick over that period trying to estimate if i had to sell one of my kids, or maybe the whole house. when i went for my next appointment i could not have been more shocked. The bill was approximately $150. shocked. I went back to Westpointe, and I would suggest that if you are looking for superior service, kind people, and excellent dental assistance, that you give them a try. Ps: He saved my tooth.
