I am a Registered Nurse and have never seen or been under the care of such unapologetic, rude, uneducated professionals. I have emailed the office letting them know of my traumatic experience, and they have decided not to reply or take professional initiative to apologize for primarily Dr. George and secondarily Dr. Allen's maltreatment and error. I now need to pay for a dental implant, I am young with perfectly healthy teeth otherwise.

I recently broke a tooth so needed to get a crown to repair it…read more I needed to wait a bit for my insurance estimate to be approved but I went ahead and booked an appointment with Hometown Dental for a few weeks down the road, and it was perfect timing. The approval came through just a few days prior to my appointment.The office Staff of Beverly, Jericho and Lorraine were very prompt on sending away the X-rays and paperwork to the insurance company quickly. (It needed to go by snail mail as per the insurance companies request). The actual crown was done in one two hour appointment repair which included the time it took to prep the original tooth base, scanning for the crown, production of the crown and placement in my mouth. During the time that they weren't working in my mouth, I was able to relax and watch some excellent television choices. Dr. Brandon Hiang and his assistant Christine were absolutely amazing. I was so comfortable with them both. Their joyful personalities and our "one way" conversations ;) were very enjoyable. They provided the topics and I listened. There was no pain or discomfort and the new tooth felt amazing immediately after a slight touchup while I was still there. I have not to return for any reason or issues. A definite plus in my mind. I could not have asked for a better outcome and strongly recommend any of the dentists in the Hometown Office. In the past I had usually seen Dr Jamison, but as she was booked up, her recommendation to have the work done by Dr Brandon Hiang was very much appreciated. I have very good teeth and have never had a problem. I moved to Okotoks and went to this office for a cleaning. I was told I needed to replace my old fillings. Not that anything was hurting or bothering me but I was told this was important to do. So I went ahead and had them replaced. I have been in terrible pain ever since. I went back to the office so they could take a look. They were great at fitting me in quickly. Dr James Stobbe told me my pain was caused from getting older (im 35) and that I need to use tooth paste for sensitive teeth. Again I have never had any tooth sensitivity or problems. Then the assistant put some cream on my gums that I was charged $80 for. That did nothing. I have now been using the recommended tooth paste and I am still living with a lot of tooth pain. I will not be going back. Will be going to someone else to see what went wrong. I would not recommend this dentist as there are many other dentist in town.

When we went to see Dr Eimar our daughter's teeth were bent forwards, backwards with an underbite. We were prepared for the worse. We paid up front to receive a discount, half was covered by our insurance. Their price was great ,and considering we didn't have to miss work for our appointments it worked perfectly. A couple years later our daughter has a beautiful smile, we come in once every few months to make sure her teeth are coming in correctly... and once when we lost our retainer. Everyone there is amazing, patient and fun. Always accommodating. Our daughter is a bit anxious about dentists, and need to talk her heart out. Everyone always takes time to listen to her silly stories. She got to pick the colors on her braces. I know the ladies didn't expect to have to match Christmas, spring, halloween... but nonetheless they always took the extra time to make her day, and through that mine. We leave feeling wonderful, and now can show off that beautiful smile. I'm very happy we chose this clinic.

My son has some special needs and I read in their ad that they were good at dealing with children…read morewith special needs. I called and booked an appointment but then realized I had to change it. I emailed them, they wouldn't allow a cancellation by emailed. So I called them, they didn't answer so I left a message and they still expected me to be at the appointment because I didn't speak to someone directly. So that was a bit of a joke, to avoid a cancellation fee I went! Well it stated off good. They have friendly ladies at the front and lots of cool things for the kids to look at while in the waiting room. Don't let this deceive you.....as soon as the dr looks In his mouth he starts telling me that my son needs a bunch of teeth taken out and because he won't sit for X-rays he will have to be sedated with IV's and things up his nose etc. Wow. Did he ever Freek me out. Then when he was trying to get into my sons mouth again to show me, my son was squirming, the dr started holding him down and I quickly told him to stop! I feel like this office is very money hungry and doesn't seem all it's cracked up to be. My son may need some extractions but I'm pretty sure i won't go there to get them done.
