I was literally shaking but the hygienist I think she is her name is Sol.. I hope I didn't spell that too far off was so patient with me and she actually calmed me down a bit. The very light music that was playing also calmed my nerves so I didn't take my anxiety medicine at all. When the doctor came in to speak to me about what you needed to be done I was upset with myself and I cried and he made me laugh and said I'll be able to smile again. For years I laugh and smile with my hand over my mouth. I know this is a long review but the office is clean the staff were all friendly even one woman that came out and saw me standing there and just waved as if she knew me. I'm very excited to have had that experience today Just knowing that everyone in that office really paid me attention It was just so comforting. Even as I was leaving when I was told about the pricing of things and how soon I would be able to get some confidence back the secretaries were just so nice I cried. I'm a 51-year-old woman and I'm telling you to go and get your teeth cleaned and taken care of the doctor's very gentle he made me extremely relaxed and I'm excited well not excited but I am happy to know that I will be getting when I need done to my mouth finally in a place where they're just not looking to get you in and out and pull every single tooth out of your mouth without some sort of follow-up. Again I know that's long but I've never had a good experience at the dentist until today.

I also previously had a chipped tooth repaired here, and the repair chipped again shortly afterward. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience and wouldn't return.

Portsmouth Dental Associates has been perfect for me over the last couple of years. Every visit is handled efficiently and professionally and they don't try and force you into the extras if you don't need them. My hygienist, Jenny, remembers every detail of my family through our conversations and does a great job with my cleanings. I recommend this dentistry to anyone in the area looking for great service in a friendly environment!

They have not updated their website, they have billing problems and the front desk employees at the Portsmouth office are extremely rude. For the 1st time in 24 years, I called with an emergency and left messages daily but no one called back even after 1 week. It is inconceivable that there are now 5 doctors and no one is monitoring the phones. They finally got me in a week later at the Newport office. The employees there were wonderful. The front desk people in Portsmouth are sadly lacking people skills, are rude and talk over you and not let you finish a sentence. After calling several times asking for help, Ariana put the phone on auto-answer for the remaining office time of one hour. It is unacceptable to treat a valued patient like this. Additionally, they are no longer accepting certain insurances. After 24 years, this practice management is down the drain. My husband and many other patients are leaving this practice.

It was beautiful and relaxing. Dr. Lubbe was positive, fun and answered all my questions. It was a wonderful experience.
